  3. I would post my opinion, but considering how many people quote and flame other users for just posting their opinion like in the last thread I was in, I just can't, sorry.
  4. I expected you to know better. Go look at chaos tunnels and tell me there are no bots... Go look at the price history of dbones , and tell me they rose to 4-5k each after free trade was removed. I'll garantuee you, you will change your mind. I guarantee you I won't change my mind.
  5. This. Also if there aren't any updates for level 85-99 content for all skills within the next 2 years, I may go crazy and quit. I may sound a bit demanding but to be honest we've been waiting for all skills to have content up to level 99 for a long time. Slayer needs monsters to fill the gaps for levels 95, 97 and 99 to complete the skill, Firemaking needs something that will make it useful, like the ability to make burning arrows which inflict 'burn' damage? Farming needs patches which, with the right level, do not get diseased after a certain level with the right amount of experience etc., there are plenty more possible updates like this that is needed, but I can only keep hoping the 99 slots are filled one day for all skills. I also would like to see master skillcapes for all skills. I technically have level 120 attack, and would like a cape to show my dedication for that :-(

I think the prices of bones will drop, not rise, simply because there were more bots when there was free trade, causing mass amounts of dragon bones (in particular) to come into the market and stabilize at around 2-2.5k each. When free trade was removed as well as many bots because of the removal, the bones rose to about 4-5k each. I think they will definitely drop in my opinion.
  7. Sounds great. I won't be able to kill the boss though, I've always failed in the boss-killing department. I will have to wait for the armour to be available via the G.E. :-) I can't wait for the melee armour, by the looks of Torva armour, it's going to be fun to wear and use. Now to stop my buy offers in the G.E. for certain things <.<

  9. Very nice find. I'm LOVING the glowing purple eyes and head on the shoulders of the melee armour. Must have :thumbup: Edit: Also carrying on from the last screenshot, is this the belt everyone's been waiting for? I remember a topic about a belt coming in 2011 and apparently the belt also being talked about at runefest?
  10. Gained level 120 attack the other day (xp wise) although the ice strykewyrm decided to eat me as my reward :-/ next goal: 200M xp!! *Prays for Jagex to bring out master capes for all skills* :shades:
  11. I think Jagex will work on a 3D approach to Runescape sometime in the future, and that looks pretty awesome. When I think how far they've come from devious mud, and the fact they use Java, it still amazes me. The glow on that sword is hypnotising <3:
  12. I would like all skills to have uses/items up to 99 eventually. Sometimes I wonder why I get level 99 in a skill when there is nothing but a cape at the end, which will only collect dust in my bank. In terms of combat though, I think the weapons are more than fine, BUT there needs to be level 99 weapons (not just in daemonheim) and level 99 armour either way. They don't have to have uber high stats or anything though, it could simply be armour with similar (or same) stats, for example Bandos, which just has the added bonus of deflecting some damage with each hit that a monster makes on you. Or even armour which boosts your maximum health over 990 or maximum prayer points over 99 for example. Level 99 weapons could adopt the same approach. You could attach a dark hilt to an abyssal whip at level 99 for example, which would (in turn) change your attack style to match whatever the opponent's weakness is. E.G. if you were to attack a waterfiend with the altered abyssal whip, it would deal crush damage (what the monster is most weak against). There is more than one way to skin a cat as the saying goes, and hidden effects within new weapons/armour can make it more than fair. No crazy high/unfair bonuses required :-) I would also like to see greater mage and range armour. Even as a melee combat enthusiast, I notice combat does get a lot of weapon/armour updates - which is unfair to the other side of the combat triangle, where other players put in the money and effort for those expensive runes and arrows to only be let down with no update for them. That is my 2 cents :-D

  14. I was wondering this also. I voted for bringing back wildy and free trade simply because free trade is a great sense of freedom. I'm not too fussed on the old wildy. It is strange how anyone can enter someone's name on the voting page though, and I can see it is already being abused :-/ with 1 refresh of the page, there was instantly another 1,000+ more votes. I wouldn't be surprised if people were looking up names on the hiscores and placing every possible name down for the vote, which is almost just as bad as identity fraud, because you're using their name for something without their permission. Ok not quite the same thing, but you get what I mean :-)

My stats were horrible back then, so I'd stay with my account being here and now :-) Though I do wish some things were never changed, like Castle Wars :-( While the new CW armour is great, the catapult really destroyed the spirit and fun of the game imo At the same time, there are some things I wish we had back in the old days, like ancient effigies and extreme potions. They may have been a long time coming, but they sure are the two best updates in Runescape for me.
  16. Unless there is confirmation by a J mod, going by what players say, to me, is considered a rumour. So until there is confirmation or un-edited screenshots (not faked) of a J mod saying so, I will consider it not true. If it is true though, then it would be very nice. That would be great. I would like to be rewarded for my good behaviour :-D
  17. Thanks for the support! I thought about this, and as much as I would want her to be soloable, I do agree the Abyssal Queen reserves the right to be extremely hard to kill. After all, my main objective is to make her team oriented, and having her summon 3 abyssal minions would make solo'ing that much harder anyway, so I've edited my first post to make it so that she's one monster you don't want to mess with ;-)

Hmm, normally I would post an idea of what the stats could be, but it usually leads to flaming and disagreements (saying it's overpowered, underpowered etc.) so unfortunately I won't post any stats :-( I will state though, that I would like each armour piece give the player a chance of activating the hidden ability with each hit they make on a monster (like barrows armour). Each armour piece could add a small percentage of activating that ability. For example: Helm = 2% Platebody = 5% Platelegs = 3% Gauntlets = 1% Boots = 1% ---------------- 12% For a total of a 12% chance that with each hit, the ability could activate. This is only an example, however. The ability could be anything from healing, to attacking 1 speed notch faster, lowering the opponents stats, or even poisoning, I'm not sure. Maybe it could be a random effect? Making it count for an Abyssal demon task would be great! I am all for that! I'm not sure on what the max hit, attack style(s), special attack(s), weaknesses, etc. could be, as that may well just be as bad for me as posting what the stats for the Harbinger armour could be. As far as the Abyssal Queen's strength is concerned however, I want her to be extremely powerful (corporeal beast stuff). I also want this to be the first major slayer boss which is more team oriented, so other high levelled slayers could do their abyssal demon task while trying to obtain the rare Harbinger armour with friends/clan mates etc. ^_^ whether it be coinshared or simply making the kills easier for everyone to obtain a piece of her treasured armour. I think this boss would encourage slayers to get together too :-)

I have had this idea for quite a while now, and I have recently posted this in another topic of what players would like to see in 2011, but I feel it should be posted here as well so that players can get an idea and feel for how epic it would be to have an Abyssal Queen. So here is my idea :-) Requirements: 99 Slayer + access to the 'ALR' Abyssal plane using the fairy rings Location: South of the Abyssal plane. You would need to squeeze through the fissure in the southern wall to enter the Abyssal Queen's lair. Examine: The harbinger of destruction If you can imagine, the Abyssal queen would roughly look like this. The head would be that of the alien from the alien vs. predator movie trilogy - elongated and extremely intimidating. Her body would have the structure and look of an ant/spider, only the back would be much, MUCH larger, sort of like the red back spider. Finally, her legs would be almost like what the Kalphite Queen's legs used to look like before her graphic update. I have put some images found on a popular search engine below to give you an idea of this: ^^ Images found on a popular search engine. None of these images are mine, and are only being used here to portray an idea At half health there would be a cutscene of her calling upon her 3 Abyssal minions. These would be the Abyssal Myriad, Abyssal Legion, and Abyssal Sentinel. These creatures would detach themselves from the Abyssal Queen's shell on her back (sort of like in 'the mummy' movie where the skeletons come to life from off the walls) and would immediately become aggressive towards the nearby player/s. These Abyssal minions would need to be killed before attacking the Queen again. Should any player attack the queen while the minions are still alive, she will heal with each attack placed upon her. Unique drops could be: Abyssal whip (of course), Harbinger hounskull (helmet), Harbinger plackart (platebody), Harbinger cuisse (legs), Harbinger gauntlets (gloves), Harbinger sabatons (boots) The 3 minions could drop harbinger armour too, though it would be extremely rare. Here is a concept I worked on using SPORE. It's not quite realistic or how I imagine it to be fully, but it is a rough idea. The head I imagine would be longer than this, and the body, much bigger. It should have higher legs and spikes at the joints, but spore has its limitations o_O either way this should give you guys a general idea of what it would look like, I hope you like it :-) I was thinking perhaps a quest could be required to kill the Abyssal Queen too, though 99 slayer should be enough of a requirement anyway.
