  1. apart from the fact that it doesn't. It picks up the ashes and puts them into the urn, where they can't be taken out. Once the urn is completely full(it tells you when it is quarter, half and three quarters full) you can bank it or teleport it away, after which you get the full xp. You can bank 10 full urns at a time.
  2. because 20k xp an hour is so much the same as 700k an hour...
  3. So you just made up **** to make yourself look knowledgeable? AGAIN?
  4. So in an hour of training, on average, you should get around 140 hp xp less than attack/strength/defence divided by 3? No go and prove yourself wrong, please.
  5. It's 0.4 xp per hit now but yeah, do you have any actual evidence there are problems in the rounding department? Like any actual data on how you lose xp, or smth? Because as far as i can tell, hp is 0.13 xp per hit, too, and the hp xp you gain is always a third of att/str/def xp. No need to lie or make up stuff you don't know. Controlled is slower if you have the ability to train strength/attack before defense. If you need to(for whatever reason) keep your stats equal, controlled would be about the same. The big boost from controlled style came from when you couldn't use whip to train strength, but now that there are rapiers, it's not a problem.
  6. A hard boss is one that you are likely to die at, be it because of high or frequent hits resulting in KO. Nex isn't a hard boss in that regard(if you know what you are doing, anyway). The whole problem is the time it takes to kill and the time it takes to profit from Nex. Assuming you'd be in a 5 man team doing 3 bosses a trip, it'd take you 166 hours(most skills don't take that long to get to 99) just to get a drop, on average(and for alot of people, ls is the only way). I think Nex would be fine if they cut the LP down to 20k and dropped the kc requirement.
  7. It's also a problem that you have to have people you can trust, because if it's just ls-ed, there is almost no chance of a payoff. The cost of nexing is also a big problem, and with there being a few hundred people with efficient gear/knowledge/levels, it's no wonder nex is dead(well, not dead). I can see there being perm nex teams just like elite dungeoneers who come together and kill nex for a few hours every day/week.
  8. I think around 1400 is max with all the advanced techniques, but around 1000-1200 is normal. It's also good to note that BA horn is efficient to use for firemaking.
  9. When you switch from cls to rapier you get a rapier hit at cls speed, so you are effectively using a weapon with 5,5 tick speed and the average of rapier/cls's stats, which would be worse than rapier alone.
  10. controlled gambling is leagal. Uncontrolled isn't. Staking is within the rules. Flower game is a scam. It's all about how trustworthy the system is and how large the profit margain is.
  11. everything but one handed weapon off staking, you use rapier until you can 1 hit ko your opponent and then switch to cls, as the one hit will be rapier speed but cls strength, you'll gain an edge. If done right, you will have a slightly higher chance of winning, and if done wrong(switch to cls and not 1 hit ko) you'll give up the advantage. If you are staking high enough amounts cls isn't strictly nessesary as vls is almost identical to it(but degrades).
  12. max hit or dps? for dps, grimy's spreads, for max hit...dno, but i'd use grimys spreadsheets for that aswell.
  13. Maybe that'd bring some interest to the Games Room  Didn't jagex state that the void conquest will be up for staking? seeing as it's similar to chess, that'd be one way of legit gambling on rs.
  14. Lotteries and betting are regulated so what they take is around a 3% tax from playing them(on average), but the profit margain for this sort of gambling is just too large to not be considered a scam as most of the players likely don't know that they are giving their money away.
  15. Unless someone gives you 20/3 times the cash for win, it'll never be a good idea to even play the game. With duel arena boxing you atleast know you have a 50/50 chance to win, but playing this game at anything less than even odds is just stupid. And not to mention, the whole sceam reacks of scamming. At 4 times profit margain, it's a 38/62 game.
  16. it's only possible to estimate this if we know your base attack/strength levels and the defense you are up against. Otherwise, there is no direct variable between levels and equipment bonuses.
  17. So it's basically the same as the oldschool french game in which you had 3 dices and had to roll a 6 to win, which from at first sight might look like even odds, but it's actually around 40% to win.
  18. 600-1.1. The market seems quite unstable and there are alot of good and bad deals to be made, but no stability.
  19. Rapier has better chances of winning. Yes it does but if you have first hit you can get a free CLS hit which is a HUGE HUGE HUGE advantage. Correct me if i'm wrong, but because vls is basically a cls, you really don't need the cls for KO hit for staking.

The guide prices of ruined dragon pieses is fixed to be the same for all of them, thus from a merchanting point of view it makes sense to manipulate one of them and make it the piece that defines the profit. If you want to be able to make money of merchanting plates you need to first stock up on the bought out piece for a reasnoble price and make plates when they are going up. Most of the profit off smithing the plates nowadays comes from merchanting. As for graahks, you just need to be patient. Current prices are very chaotic and you will definitely be losing money if you rush buys.
