Can you post some links, please? Just to satisfy my curiosity. No links. Just experience and logic. The more the userbase grows, the more people will be willing to create malware for the OS. Obviously Mac is starting to grow a bit on their computer end, which means more people will want to make malware to get the information from mac users. It's already enough that a hacker can get into a mac in 1 minute (if you don't believe me on this one, check youtube). Well thats true; doesn't change the fact theres no brilliant well known mac AVs atm cause there no real market. Also you can hack almost anything in under 1min if you know what you're doing; its kinda misleading to just mention macs on that one because its hardly a mac specific "issue"

The worrying thing is the wikileaks info from a high up al-quaeda guy in guntanmo bay saying they have a nuclear bomb hidden in europe alongside recent threats that said bomb would be detonated in osama is ever captured or killed. That's a fair point, but to play devil's advocate a bit...I played during classic, yet lost my access prior to the reopening of it because I forgot to log in regularly. If I had lost access, assuming we're going on the same mechanics that determine who gets the cape now, I wouldn't have qualified for it regardless if I played back then. So I'm pretty happy that this is how they're determining eligibility, I'm very proud that I played since the classic time. :) You couldnt of 'lost access' any account made in RSC that got transferred to rs2 always had it. I never logged onto classic from transfer day to like a month after they shut tht reopening and I didnt lose access.

Opinion polls tend to be soooooo misleading though. Even during national elections the polls are taken in the major hubs and/or by them survey ppl on the streets that everyone who is smart avoids. Always reminds me of I think Russell Howard saying in stand up such polls/statistics don;t show the general populations views, just the views of people not smart enough to dodge when you see someone coming at you with a clipboard. Plus they can be so wrong, most of them showed a clear lib dem win for 90% of the pre-election run up last time and that hardly panned out. Opinion polls always put me in mind of agenda driven magazines (eg a fundamentalist catholic magazine that opposes gay rights) do a survey on their own readers on an issue then use that to draw conclusions about the entire population (eg 98% said being gay is wrong therefore society as a whole does not like gays) and its like not sh*t sherlock that the readers of a magazine with that agenda largely have that opinion. I mean like the newspapers all their opinion polls results nearly 100% come out showing the party they support on top. eg telegraph and mirror always seem to have labour on top or close second while the sun and daily mail put tory in that placement. But yeah if its a close call hopefully this electoral reform issue doesn't get side-lined. A decisive yes or no will obviously back seat it for a decade or 2, but hopefully a mid-ground result will keep talks open cause I think most everyone agrees we need SOME sort of electoral reform if not AV.

Personally I'd say no. Other forum area's if the thread isn't getting replies its not active simple as. But in recruitment it can be an active ad thread people are contacting you from without getting replies.

Yes rocoo but if 49% hate them and 51% do not they still can speak for the majority. How is that worse than FPTP where a party can win with 30% and therefore 70% could hate them? and counting them as fractional is done. They are used to simulate a 2nd election where the losing party did not run. If your first choice did not run you would vote for your 2nd choice. It's no more fractional a vote than say you support BNP and theres no bnp candidate in your constituency. You'd vote for you're second choice party. Thats what Av simulates. Also what you are calling "true AV" is actually ranked voting, totally different method.

Its a well known fact I think Grimy even has numbers on it somewhere. You have to do something like a month for 10 maples to produce more nests than 9. And to get proof: Do mtk one week 10:5 note number of nests Do mtk next week 9:6 note number of nests being identical

I'd be surprised if the stats are in any way better to what we currently have access to. I'd be more inclined to think that the capes will have no stats at all, like clan capes. They're aesthetic items, surely. Jagex are not likely to hand out Chaotic capes to people who have played for a few years. Yeah I can imagine the capes of 10s will have stats all worse than a 99 cape. The cape for all 99s be slightly better than skill capes And master cape be better still But the 5 and 10 yr capes i cant imagine being better than a skill cape Why would a cape that requires 13,034,431 exp to get (level 99 (skill cape)) have better stats than a cape that requires 133,658,300 exp to get (all skills level 90 cape)? Edit: Even the all 70s cape will require more total exp than a skill cape will. Eventually the quest cape will need more experience than a trimmed skillcape, and that has higher stats. I can't imagine the quest cape ever needing more than 10x the exp of a 99 skill though. My point was that it would only make sense for atleast the all 90s cape to be better than a skillcape, seeing as how it takes over 10x the exp of a 99. I can. It already requires somewhere between 3 and 4 times the xp for a 99 iirc. And given time it is inevitable between new skills arriving and the game advancing the total xp and max lvls needed for quests will rise at some point quest cape will have crazy high reqs.

It doesn't kill the debate on PR. Regardless of which way the vote goes PR and other methods will debated and regardless of which way it goes the odds of government changing system (or offering to) again for many years are slim. However AV gives better representation to peoples voice than FPTP does. so given the choice I'd much rather have AV. Also if we ever did get a chance I doubt I'd be pro PR. While technically the best system the way it opens doors to extremist parties that can end up in power and corroding rights is a big issue in my book.

Metagaming is about innovative; but it is mostly about mathematical efficiency (and innovation within that field). Hence using easter carrot in that way while it may of been an innovative idea was not innovative to metagamer as picking pocketing isn't the most efficient method and such a small methodological change couldn't make it the best.

Tht last message heavily implies they listen on the fact this master cape shuld not be the ultimate completeionist cape and that tht needs to include EVERYTHING that can be measurably "completed"

Yes feb-2002 is earliest record which is confirmed (I get it on day 1) and in other news - I get them all bahahaha I should get the 10 year cape on a few accounts. A few lvl 3's too. I'm going to troll so hard on my level 3's... hahaha Mmm If i got my dates right I made my current account around october 03 so yeah I'm on about 8 yrs when tht cape shuld arrive. No-one said it trumps PR. PR is technically the perfect system; just unfortunate extremists ruin it. and they won;t become insular from non-labour supporters. If they do they won't get 2nd choice votes and thus won't win. FPTP promote more insular-ism as you only have to appeal to the people who 100% support you and absolute no-one else and rely on your opponent's policies to drive opposition to vote for you.
