  1. A more elegant solution would be, and shouldn't be hugely complex to code. Set start room in the centre for all map sizes; but put a small button of some kind at each edge Then make it so that pressing that button "adds" a room to that edge by shuffling everything over. So like you fill go two rooms left and hit the tools edge, but you haven't gone right yet and still have doors leading left. You click the button and it shuffles all icons rooms etc 1 space right thus allowing for the room further left. Would make the tool a bit more dynamic, keep the size limitations to avoid it becoming huuuuuuge but also quickly and effectively deal with shifting the entire map about if you find you've placed it wrong in the grid.

    1) Really two ways to do it: own 360s first as they are the only one you should be praying agaisnt and thus are a resource drain. Or you can down the 90s first to avoid damage but obv it uses more prayer. Either way as long as you lure right only 360s and 90s can bother you cept maybe one of them bat buggers which u can 1 hit anyway most of the time. (and obviously want to as they suck prayer points) You want to lure melee monsters behind the 360s so you only have to worry about the 90s ranging you. 2) Yes the 360s have a melee attack, but you shouldn't be going that close to them. 3) As far as I am aware it does since only days ago someone posted achievement pics of firecape without attacking jad.
  4. Suppose they are relying on common sense to realise one under required mage level won't work. But deffo sounds like it needs rewording to say any ice spell over lvl x
  5. I think the thing is: They keep trying to graphically upgrade, but the engine abilities in terms of landscape and npcs lately keeps improving substantially before they finish the project so they end up restarting. We are lowly getting there thou, most new areas are up to par and the rest is slowly getting there
  6. I wrote a section on that here. The tasks are colour-coded. Yeah the coloured dot is green, red, white, purple or padlock. For easy, medium, hard, elite and don;t have reqs
  7. Not really: Brown = not done Gold/yellow with a tick = done Pretty straight forward. Plus top right corner there's a button to hide completed tasks.
  8. Works fine on my laptop, must be your connection timing out on MySQL database fetching. Or just you're net playing silly buggers.
  9. I see nothing as an issue. Most boss monsters max out at ~4* your combat level. There are a boss monster afterall. Why is a lvl 84 for a lvl 26 any worse than a lvl 320ish for a lvl 100ish? Both are 3.2* higher level.
  10. Yeah rellekka graphics are bound to be with the fremmink saga's in the last week I'd say. So this week gonna be draynor, death hates and upgrades; nothing huge content wise but still hopefully some nice fairly substantial tweaks. The past upgrade weeks have always proved popular.
  11. Yeah personally other than a few old quests, that have since been updated, all the ones where the journey was pointless offered tele. While ones meant to be a challenge don't. eg: Regicide elf forest is the challenge Few desert quests where the desert is a challenge Do No Evil with the challenge journey One Small Favour where it's intentionally annoying/long winded
  12. With the relative chaos of potting, attacking and dodging at nomad anyway I'd say extra pots are a waste. Especially since brews and restores are gonna muck them up anyway.
  13. But the point is: there is a plank spawn right before you need it. If you pay attention to the guide and/or your surroundings you will see this. Adding it to suggested items just means you go down with less food in order to carry a useless plank as you can pick one up in the tunnel jsut before it is needed and by whcih point you will probably have eaten some food and thus have space. None of the guides bother suggesting items you can pick up within the quest; only exception being awkward "pick ups" eg MEP2 mentions you can take a death tally to avoid the list of 50 items.
  14. I do know what you're talking about. You said: Yanille portal is stupid because there is a teleport just outside it. Excluding chipped tabs. My point: By that logic all portals are equally stupid as they all have teleports equally close by, mostly offering closer drop off to necessary locations. Also lyre recharge is easy you can do it via fremmy boots. Yes in other ways the portals you mentioned do have greater use than yanille for specific tasks. I didn't argue that, I simply pointed out the logic of portal X is stupid because teleport y is right near there equally applies to all portals, rendering them all stupid.
  15. Well then you clearly aren't reading the quest guide well, or it is a sucky guide. Quote tip.it: 4. Head to the Ruins of Ullek on the plateau east of the Agility Pyramid. Information on how to reach Ullek if you have not set up the agility pyramid shortcut can be found in the second Tips, tricks & notes here. Head into the northern 'walled' section of the plateau and enter the Sealed Door on the west side. When you enter the tomb, drop your cat and speak to it. Your cat is convinced Sumona's intentions aren't all good. Follow the link on the here, while not perfect it takes u ot the dealing with scarabas quest guide tht has this handy map: can clearly see the gap at south to get thru and in tips n tricks: When you encounter the group of archaeologists on the plateau, you can head west over a low wall, and attach a rope to the rock. This allows you to use that as a shortcut between the southeastern corner of the Agility Pyramid and the plateau at any point later, but remember that you're going to have to walk through a crowd of Mummies (Level 125) known to hit up to 240 damage. If you already had this shortcut, you can use it for this quest.
  16. That would be because it's a hunter thing not a monster; hence its lack of a combat level.
  17. By that logic young people and students shouldn't have a vote simply because they have not had the chance to contribute. Or people who are on benefits/unemployed for genuine reasons (not tht lay abouts/benefit cheats) shouldnt vote simply because of misfortune in thier lives.
  18. Benchmark tests can be extremely misleading. For one thing most benchmark tests can be easily biased. eg benchmark that intentionally has a heap of files the disliked av will get false positives one. For another they show extremes: Like how intel cpu's benchmark much higher than their AMD counterparts. But unless you are like a commercial music producer or major game coder and actually will manage to utterly fill out the cpu potential the intel and amd chips are effectively identical.
  19. Pah. We might get our asses kicked by natural disasters every now and then, but we've reached the point when we're far more then a "nuisance." With wide-spread nuking and nuclear winter, we might be able to pretty much wipe out 99% of life on the surface, the last 1% of which would started a slow and possibly inevitable decline into nothingness (depending on how long nuclear winter lasts) leaving pretty much nothing but deep sea life. And course, it's all theoretical. Can't really test it. And once we're out of the picture, well, hardly matters much imo. But we're FAR more then a nuisance. Even with that we are still just a nuisance. Fact is when/if we are gone the planet will return to a natural unpolluted state and regenerate life. Like how that meteor wiped out the dionsaurs and totally mucked up the planet; it took a few thousand years of ice and what not but the planet re-established itself and life diversified again.
  20. Gotta love apocalypse math. I personally liked the fact that the dates of 9/11 and the japan tsunmai add to make the 2012 and this is OBVIOUSLY proof its true. Because you can jsut pick the dates of two diasters arbitrarily that happen to add up right and completely ignore all the other disasters that happened before and in-between that do not add up to make your number.
  21. But as we established: The internal house teleports give fast access to the fairy rings and most other free transport networks thereby rendering it moot anyway; especially since without banking or using items fairy rings are the major network and they can get you within running distance of most anywhere.
  22. Chipped tabs aside: If yanille is "stupid" becuz of watchtower tele. Then surely rellekka is stupid because of lyre, fremmy boots, lunar teles, slayer and a number of fairy rings that all drop you closer to the useful spots in that area than house does. Rimmington is stupid because of the number of teles that drop you in more useful spots in that area. Skills necklace, and mudskipper fairy ring specifically. Taverly because of again another array of teles dropping your right there and closer to the useful spots.
  23. Peoples point: They all come out the same. Any setup at all allows glory > fairy rings. Fairy rings = fast access to every single location or transport to the few non-ringed areas. Therefore rendering the actual location of the house pointless.
  24. What about an option for: I'm a completionist and would be filling these goals in-spite of the cape.
  25. There no house entrance in canafis. But pollnivneach is a good idea assuming you use sumona and/or other lower masters the regular assign tht stuff. But equally glory + carpets ain't exactly wasting huge amounts of time. And there is pollnivneach tele scrolls. and yeah by time u start really wanting to throw house around for efficiency reasons u can easily afford the move. But yeah yanille is definitely the easiest parking place for friends access etc (assuming they lack chipped tabs)
