  1. Can't say I've ever had much of an issue with the horde. Just use mage (or ranged) while standing on the rug/platform area that the skinweaver heals in. And pray mage (assuming ur in melee armour) and then swap to ranged prayer if the rnager guys are majorly higher lvl than the mages.
  2. Do a system restore back a few weeks to whenever u last updated succesfully.
  3. firelighters, sweets, god book pages, god arrows, tele scrolls and the meerkat stuff are "global rewards" which can be gotten from any level. All others are level specific. Like ranger boots are only medium Robin is only from hard. This covers it: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=treasure_trails_rewards.htm
  4. So that last pic must be the lava fairy sprite or w/e they called it in BTS thth hands out the golden mining outfit.
  5. Guess that'd be the hard level contraction of: Shrug in the Zamorak Temple found in the Eastern Wilderness. Beware of double agents! Equip bronze platelegs, an iron plate body, and blue dragonhide vambraces. So I'd say go for the chaos altar in eastern wildy where AZs are.
  6. For efficiency you want chapel, menagerie, quest hall, 2 portal chambers surrounding the entrance portal. Then study and workshop close by are also a good move.
  7. rimmington has skills necklace to craft guild, mudskipper fairy ring and a hot air balloon. Pollnivneach has slayer ring and tele scrolls. All have chipped tele tablets.
  8. The ones that got removed where removed cause they were dead. I don't think hidden updates should be moved, but the discussion/teaser pics certainly code be merged since we often end up reposting the pics into the discussion anyway, just make sure we have an easily reachable archive perhaps in the first psot or w/e
  9. But it got unstuck because of lack of activity and lack of productive outcomes and there is no evidence anything has changed in this respect.
  10. Offtopic doesn't exactly get spammed with people posting pictures of their computers wallpaper either, but the fact that its a sticky if anything encourages people to post it. By being in eyesight, it becomes more used. But it did BEFORE there was a sticky, now that traffic goes to the sticky. There's no evidence of any traffic at all really in the missing persons vein; certainly not enough to warrant a sticky
  11. Point still stands: We don't get spammed with threads looking for people so there's no proof of traffic for such a sticky; which got de-stickied because it had no traffic.
  12. When you use the gnome glider in a certain quest you crash there.
  13. Thats because the post is no longer stickied. It DID get a decent amount of traffic when it was one. Which is my point. That by removing it as a sticky, it killed any effectiveness of the post. Given that many do not even know it exists, and those who do will see no real benefit from it as its not in sight of the majority of users. It goes from november 2010 to may 2010 then jumps to 2009; hardly active. Also my point is: people who WANT that service and do not know about it make mis-placed posts like all the welcomes and farewells that get moved. We don't get any looking for people threads to be moved so this supposed traffic it'd get has no proof to suggest it is there and even the thread itself post dates shows how dead it was.
  14. Nothing on the hidden update sticky is public knowledge when it is added. Because it is HIDDEN stuff. Sure the archived stuff may be public knowledge, but the archive is only part of the sticky. Also mis-persons list last post November 2010 that's half a year ago; and in that half year I've not seen a single looking for someone thread. Kinda shows how much traffic/use it has.
  15. Yeah it's not like we get heaps of missing person threads or that the sticky got posted on regularly. Hidden updates still happen msot weeks; and prior to the sticky (which get posted on frequently) we were covered in threads for them.
  16. Squab i fail to see what you're "fix" achieved. I thought it was inferred I meant house glory given that I mentioned further up about glory being forgotten. And it's safe to say: you are overcomplicating it. Yanille wins hands down as base location simply for bank proximity. With the new teletabs we can jump to any house portal anyway and everywhere is well covered with cheap/easy teles only exception being the southern reaches of morytanina; but even that has got a few now.
  17. In terms of places you can reach without banking or times: 1) You CAN have 3 portal rooms to have all 7 if you so wish. 2) You forgot to factor glory in. With or without banking I think yanille still wins. With banking as it closest to the bank. Without because you have: Teleports to: Camelot Falador Varrock Lumbridge Ardougne Canafis Edgeville Draynor Karamja Al-Kharid Then via being in Yanille: Wizard's tower, Dark wizards tower and Sorcerer's tower via mage guild (sorcerer's being most useful) Within reasonable run distance of fairy ring and charter ship* and glider and hot air balloon* and that orge log boat thingy and spirit tree. So you have fairly fast access to most transport networks without even factoring in things like glory > edge is str8 into fairy rings and spirit trees. *these obv require some item age though.
  18. It's a nice cute splash page but part of me just goes meh. Cause that sort of has been done to death in the past few years.
  19. Did post production and stuff so thought I'd bump this. Think the first is definitely better than the second, but still I like it.
  20. I've had this clue and I don't recall taking an anti with me at all. I just used prayer book thingie when I went bk to bank afterwards. Might be mis-remembering but I'm like 90% certain.
  21. Days before june bts? Are you thinking they are some how gonna put these in to the game in june? Most of these at the bare minimum would take a few weeks to get recoded, if not months. Plus they have to see them discuss them in dev meetings and then decide whether or not to use them before they even go on to a "to-do" list that then waits until there is free dev time. We'll be lucky to see any of this in-game within this year tbh.
  22. Why does it not make any sense? electricity + metal = bad It's not like there's not many many other slayer locations and monsters that have special damage factors. But anyway the OP got good advice with the range pray + range attacks And as I already said I may be wrong I jsut recalled jagex mentioning it somewhere when killerwatts were added, the extra post was simply to re-explain since Jaffy totally misconstrued what I had said.
  23. You completely ignored my point there of course it "makes no sense" when you read random crud about magic that I did not say. My point was I vaguely recalled some mention when killerwatts arrived that they were electrical and thus metallic (any metallic armour) armour boosted their damage. Nothing to do with mage or mage defence. Given that most metallic armour is melee and at the time all range armour was leather this helped feed the idea they used a mage-based melee attack as obvious the leathers took less damage. Obviously since then, with hit-splats etc., it has been shown its not mage-based melee but many people still cite it as being such incorrectly sometimes. But anyway going back to the metallic idea: The fact Armadyl took similar damage to Bandos and both are metallic does fit with what I was saying because I was not talking about mage defence. I may be wrong but the test you did does not prove anything aside from two metallic looking armours took similar damage which fits perfectly with the theory I cited.
  24. Yet I tried testing this, switching from bandos to armadyl armour and just standing there waiting to kill me.. Didn't notice much difference really. Laws of physics also don't really apply in RuneScape. ;) But Armadyl armour is also quite clearly a metal armour, you cans ee by looking it it has a metallic texture etc. Armadyl has some of the highest magic defence in the game... It also doesn't have the weight you'd associate with metallic armour like rune. I'm not saying it isn't, but it obviously doesn't act as metallic (melee) armour. But that assumes metallic = mele. Metallic can easily mean other things than melee isn't the a whole heap of random non-melee items that stop ava's thingy working due to being metallic?
