i agree with dez, people who have never smoked before have no idea how hard it is to quit an addiction. even as a young child, my parents were smokers and i guess it rubbed off on me. i took my toke off a newport when i was 12 years old and the phrase, addicted by first time is very much true. i really started "smoking" (as in buying packs and stealing them sometimes from my parents) when i was about 14 and now im 17 and its gotta go. the point im making is that people who have never smoked before and are trying to give me stupid advice, thanks but no thanks. some ignorant people here are making a mockery of my decision and its not funny or cool at all. so please if you all will, reasonable advice is wanted please... UPDATE : its been 5 days without smoking and today i finally had one. i went out and bought a pack making sure that it would be my last and final, but it ended up i smoked one and threw the rest of the pack out the window.... im very seriuos on this issue, its so hard its not even funny. Almost as addicting as runescape ayy? :wink:

update: 4 days and no smokes, im going insane

i cannot stress how helpful all you guys have been (except for a select few) i went to my guidance counselor and she gave me good reasons and ways to help , similiar to what has been said ... its been 2 days, and none so far i found this method from anohter one of my forums... a friend told me to put a rubberband on my wrist, and then when i wanted a smoke, to snap the rubberband and then it would help.. so far thats been the best one so far. my dad has been sitting around and randomly hear "SNAP SNAP SNAP" and has joked about it.. thanks to all, but by all means, keep the suggestions coming, it might help

yes im a 17 year old male who is addicted to smoking. i started when i was 15 and i havent stopped at all until now. i found the girl of my dreams, and i want to be with her the rest of my life, and the only condition is that i have to stop smoking... which i am willing to do. ive tried gum and patches, but nothing seems to work... any other suggestions from you guys from past experience or just something interesting i havent thought of.. i need help because i think im going into withdrawls and my mind is melting down EDIT: please read my message i have written on page 4, includes a live update of how im doing

when i made my pure mage staker, i won my first 500k stake using iban blast. then after it had to be recharged, i gave up on iban staff and trained my magic to 75 and just used ice burst from ancients. also, you have to put in perspective that you have to do the underground pass quest to get the staff.

i agree, ive was slaying up there for a while until i got banned, and almost 70% of the time , noobs like lvl 80 and what not just roll up there and beg for phree whipz pl0x?. keeping the doors locked until your the apropriate lvl is a good idea.

i agree, i want a new quest for something... maybe like a play off of the grand tree? i had lots of fun doing that quest, and it was hella long and challenging to me. new rewards such as like a new melee weapon witha new special or something like that. i dunno, but a new harder quest sounds alright to me
