Was woken up a few times during the night cause the posters in our room were falling down. It's so hot here and we don't have AC, so we have these huge fans we bought just blowing like crazy. It's like we're in a wind tunnel, haha. It'll be nice not starting class until 10:50am on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Finally got to hooking my Xbox up to my Ethernet today. Had to go through an interesting process registering my MAC number. So, after classes tomorrow, I might hit up the Halo Matchmaking lobby. :thumbup:

I kinda want to start classes, just so I can get into a rhythm for school. But at the same time, I don't want to do work. It sucks now, because I'm rather busy now and so I can't spend as much time on TIF. :(

My older brother (who was probably 15 at the time) made swords out of PVC pipe and covered them with foam and duct tape. Those things lasted forever and were so cool. We made them look exactly like swords, with hilts and everything. :thumbup:

Fruit at the food commons! YUM! At Panda Express for dinner. It seems that somehow, I always go into Panda all excited and exit feeling like crap.

Extreme heat and humidity; and being unable to cool yourself down (be it by a pool, air conditioning, etc).

Getting all my student employment forms filled out for my TAing job. Also, we got our couch. It was so freakin heavy, and we had to carry it up two flights of narrow stairs. It's pretty long, so that was a hassle. Getting it through our narrow door was, too. But it's pretty nice. $50 at a thrift store. Classes start tomorrow. Computer science and TA for a physics 1 class.

Didn't your sister just to to college too? Are you guys the same age? No, she's a year older than me. I'm a sophomore and she's a junior. So today, I have to go get my mail key so I can collect all those textbooks I ordered weeks ago. That involves standing in line for a long time, since today is the first day the mail center is open. I also have to go fill out some employment forms since I'm TAing and getting paid for it. And lastly, I have to meet up with the professor I am TAing for to go over what his style of teaching and grading is. That's it for the not-so-fun stuff. I think my roommate and I are going to try and find a cheap couch today and then probably set up our TV and stuff.

Nah, people who go out of their way to abide by the rules suck. :P I shouldn't have expected much from a girl RA, though. :\ They always end up being so strict.

Yah, cause if someone sword blocks, they get shoved back out of range for a second lunge (except if they run into something like a wall), so they can back up and shoot you while your trying to get that damn reticle to show red again to kill them [again].

Hah. Well, I hope you got that it was Resident Assistant. Now I'm just alone in my room (roommate decided to go out for a bit). It's so hot here. Not air conditioning. Was probably above 100 degree F earlier this evening with the ten or so people that were hanging out. I've been sweating for probably 8 hours straight.

Even being part of a religion, believing in an afterlife, it's just too much. Because this life is physically there, and to know that it will be gone is scary. I can't comprehend what the afterlife will be like. What I do understand is that everyone dies, and that I will eventually leave this physical life; it's like the only concept that I can fully grasp. Kinda depressing. :P

Sometimes I get in those moods, where I tell myself that this is the real thing: this life is going to come to an end, it isn't a sort of game. I believe in an afterlife, but even then, it's like this is my one shot at being on earth and all those movies that might give me ideas about going back in time are just covering up that fact. And as a think more and more about it and delve deeper, it's like my brain can't even comprehend it.

Just got written up. First night of the year. The girl isn't even our RA and she says 'she heard clanking (glass) and party sounds.' And I'm being completely honest when I say that there couldn't have been 'clanking' since the glass bottles we under the sink, not being touched. Our music wasn't on either. [bleep]ing stupid. What a downer.

On Topic: My sister forgets a whole list of stuff for college and sent me the list so that I could bring it up to her when I come up tomorrow. I'm going to spend more time rummaging through her freakin room trying to find all of it than the amount of time I'll spend packing my own stuff. So angry.
