  1. Oh, that's an HDMI out socket? Mine does have that, but it has a plastic thing over it. Does that mean I can't use it, then? (it's like the one in the picture you posted)
  2. Dirty and Left Out (McTague-Lectro Version) - The Almost Aaron Gillespie is a badass. Too bad he isn't in Underoath anymore.

That's when you disguise semi-strengths as weaknesses (if you haven't already in the interview). "Well, at one point in my life, I was pretty worried about pleasing people, so I put so much effort into everything that I ended up becoming rather stressed out and tired. I realized eventually that you can never please everyone, and I began to prioritize the more important things and spend less time on those that weren't as important. And I've found that I'm a lot happier and that I've done more of what I wanted to do; in the process, I've been able to help quite a few people, too." Something like that. :P
  4. Heh, I still don't understand. Why would your text end in a bunch of x's?

Yah, we just asked a friend to get something cheap. We just weren't expecting it to be that bad. :P

 Me and my roommate still have to go looking for some nicer parking lots at my college. There don't seem to be a lot of them, since campus is in the middle of a [cabbage]ting part of the city. Also, Loaded came out with a new board, the Fattail. Real similar to the Pintail with some minor tweaks (such as the tail). http://www.youtube.com/user/LoadedNewsletter#p/a/u/0/1W9fUziquak

Shirt is pretty cool. Like the above, definitely don't like the shoes or the belt. Too 'classy' for me. I'm more of a casual kinda guy.
  8. Lily's Theme - Alexandre Desplat Short 'n sweet.
  9. Hah, I had to read that whole book and then write a paper for it in just one week. My English teacher decided to cram it in before school ended. I think I was one of the only one's who actually read the whole thing, and it was boring and awful. I think I have that paper saved somewhere. I can't even imagine what I wrote about. -goes and looks- Haha, check out this bs: Austens Sense and Sensibility is a novel with the dichotomy of two seemingly opposite traits at its core: sense and sensibility. Austen insightfully differentiates between sense and sensibility through the use of her characters Elinor and Marianne, while incorporating humor into the scheme to produce a profound and enjoyable romance.

I decided to play some Assassin's Creed II today. Then my brother comes from from a half day at school, watches me for a little bit, and then starts getting all, 'hey, can I play?' and [cabbage]. He's played my xbox360 probably ten times the amount I've played it, and I can't even play for a few hours without him bugging me.

I had a high school teacher who had written his own history textbook and used that in class. It isn't too surprising in college, but in high school, it sure was.
  12. When you get that feeling of not wanting to do anything. That's happening to me today. It's hot outside, so I dunno if I want to go for a cruise.

Eating breakfast this morning, the corner of the dining room caught my eye, and I remembered how my parents would make us just stand facing the corner if we misbehaved during dinner. I started to laugh cause who would have ever thought that to be a good disciplinary tactic? But it sure did work on me and my older sister (not as much my little sister and brother).

Reminds me of when I was younger, I was on a hike with my family and a bee was about to sting my mom, so I hit it really hard off of her with my hat. It was buzzing on the ground, not able to fly yet. My mom said "Thanks," stepped on it, and killed it. I started to cry and told her we could've just left it alone and not killed it.

Heck, he was making Petit plural and probably added on 'es' instead of just 's' by accident or whatever (because there's really no rule when you are pluralizing brand names). :P

I haaaaate it so much when people involve God in their stupid explanations. So many idiot theists out there giving us all a bad name. >.> Sorry to bring up this rant again. It's been said plenty of times. Sarge's posts just resurfaced my hate.
  17. Heh, I got teary eyed during the last Harry Potter movie when Snape died. [bleep]ing badass character. I had good reason to tear up. Last night (and probably tonight), I'll be daydreaming (or should I say nightdreaming (i.e. not fully dreaming, just imagining)) about going on a beach trip with my friends later in September. I'll be thinking up all sorts of ideal situations I want to be in during that trip.
  18. When directors leave important [cabbage] out of movies. D: Soooo frustrating.
  19. ^ I want it to look sharp, but I don't think my laptop has a DVI or HDMI port (I'm not real knowledgeable about these things, so don't jump on my ass is those don't even exist on computers, heh). Enlighten me if there's a way. If I'm stuck with hooking it up with a VGA cable, then I'll buy a cheap $4.00 off amazon. If I don't like it, heck, it's only $4.00. Thanks guys!

To me, sounds like your main focus is getting a girl, and it's kinda overshadowing how good you are doing in the first place. Heck, you're gonna get a job (good luck with that interview, dude; you'll nail it), you have a car... Your life is gonna be stable. Don't let this 'not having a girl at 21' overshadow all of that. Hell, be successful at everything else and one will enter your life. You make it sound like you're on this quest to find a girl. Let things fall into place and do your thing.
  21. ^ I love God is an Astronaut. Ah! I knew I'd been meaning to listen to someone on Spotify. He was it! I thoroughly enjoy his The Sparrow and the Crow album, especially those two songs (Song of the Sparrow; Song of the Crow). Trucker's Atlas - Sun Kil Moon
  22. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 2. I went into this movie having just finished the 7th book, so it was all fresh in my mind. And I was pretty disappointed in it. The only truly good thing about the movie was Snape's story. A hell of a lot was left out (the major dialogue between Harry and Voldemort during their final duel just to name one instance). Seems like time was spent on parts that weren't very important, time that could have been spent towards more important parts (for instance, the movie expanded the killing of Nagini when really, in the book, the snake's death was quite quick; this time could've been spent on the major dialogue between Harry and Voldemort, or the large dialogue between Harry and Dumbledore in that white King's Cross Station environment). I could write a ton more of the parts that were left out, but I don't think there would be a point. All I will say for now is that I'm really glad I read the book before I watched the movie. I understood everything a lot better cause of it. Eh, Emma looked very pretty with her long hair in it. :P I guess I give it a 3/5 (mainly cause of Snape's story; oh, and the short duel between McGonagall and Snape was pretty badass looking, as well as the graphics when the professors were putting up defenses around Hogwarts).
  23. It's a Presario CQ61 Notebook PC made by Hewlett-Packard. It says COMPAQ on it. If it is possible, is there a specific type of VGA cable I would need since its an LCD tv or something? I'm looking at cheap ones on amazon.com.
  24. ^Yup, she's nice. :) Stephanie Szostak is pretty good looking. Kinda weird hair in most of her pictures.
  25. So I recently bought a 22" HD LCD Television with the intent of using it to play my xbox360 on during college. I saw that it had a VGA cable port in the back of it and noticed my laptop also has a VGA cable port on its side. I was wondering, could I technically use this television as a second monitor if I were to buy a simple VGA cable and connect the television to my laptop (and obviously go through the settings and appearance stuff to hook it up)? I mainly want to know because I don't want to buy a VGA cable and then have it not work. Unfortunately, my parents got rid of all my old desktop CPUs and monitors, so I couldn't find a VGA cable lying around to test this.
