  1. When directors leave important [cabbage] out of movies. D: Soooo frustrating.
  2. ^ I want it to look sharp, but I don't think my laptop has a DVI or HDMI port (I'm not real knowledgeable about these things, so don't jump on my ass is those don't even exist on computers, heh). Enlighten me if there's a way. If I'm stuck with hooking it up with a VGA cable, then I'll buy a cheap $4.00 off amazon. If I don't like it, heck, it's only $4.00. Thanks guys!

To me, sounds like your main focus is getting a girl, and it's kinda overshadowing how good you are doing in the first place. Heck, you're gonna get a job (good luck with that interview, dude; you'll nail it), you have a car... Your life is gonna be stable. Don't let this 'not having a girl at 21' overshadow all of that. Hell, be successful at everything else and one will enter your life. You make it sound like you're on this quest to find a girl. Let things fall into place and do your thing.
  4. ^ I love God is an Astronaut. Ah! I knew I'd been meaning to listen to someone on Spotify. He was it! I thoroughly enjoy his The Sparrow and the Crow album, especially those two songs (Song of the Sparrow; Song of the Crow). Trucker's Atlas - Sun Kil Moon
  5. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 2. I went into this movie having just finished the 7th book, so it was all fresh in my mind. And I was pretty disappointed in it. The only truly good thing about the movie was Snape's story. A hell of a lot was left out (the major dialogue between Harry and Voldemort during their final duel just to name one instance). Seems like time was spent on parts that weren't very important, time that could have been spent towards more important parts (for instance, the movie expanded the killing of Nagini when really, in the book, the snake's death was quite quick; this time could've been spent on the major dialogue between Harry and Voldemort, or the large dialogue between Harry and Dumbledore in that white King's Cross Station environment). I could write a ton more of the parts that were left out, but I don't think there would be a point. All I will say for now is that I'm really glad I read the book before I watched the movie. I understood everything a lot better cause of it. Eh, Emma looked very pretty with her long hair in it. :P I guess I give it a 3/5 (mainly cause of Snape's story; oh, and the short duel between McGonagall and Snape was pretty badass looking, as well as the graphics when the professors were putting up defenses around Hogwarts).
  6. It's a Presario CQ61 Notebook PC made by Hewlett-Packard. It says COMPAQ on it. If it is possible, is there a specific type of VGA cable I would need since its an LCD tv or something? I'm looking at cheap ones on amazon.com.
  7. ^Yup, she's nice. :) Stephanie Szostak is pretty good looking. Kinda weird hair in most of her pictures.
  8. So I recently bought a 22" HD LCD Television with the intent of using it to play my xbox360 on during college. I saw that it had a VGA cable port in the back of it and noticed my laptop also has a VGA cable port on its side. I was wondering, could I technically use this television as a second monitor if I were to buy a simple VGA cable and connect the television to my laptop (and obviously go through the settings and appearance stuff to hook it up)? I mainly want to know because I don't want to buy a VGA cable and then have it not work. Unfortunately, my parents got rid of all my old desktop CPUs and monitors, so I couldn't find a VGA cable lying around to test this.
  9. We could ogle her young Star Wars self. But I definitely know what you mean about her age putting you off.
  10. Carrie Fisher (Star Wars) She's old as heck now. :P
  11. Helena Beat - Foster the People EDIT: Just got their whole Torches album. I like it.

    Today...

Should probably clean my room up a bit. It's really gotten to be a mess. May visit a super smooth parking lot later this evening when it's cooled down and do a bit of longboard dancing, so that I don't lose my touch. :P
  13. Just happened to me. Finished the 7th Harry Potter book today. I dunno what to do with my life now. This always happens; happened with Lord of the Rings, the Belgariad, the Mallorean, etc. :\ I might just have to sleep it off later tonight.

    Food

Ate fruit salad for lunch with a bit of pan dulce. My dad bought it, so I decided to eat it to be polite, since pan dulce isn't really the most fantastic dessert in the world.
  15. Finally finished with the Harry Potter series. The 7th books was fantastic. Now I can finally go see the second part of the 7th movie in theaters. I'd say 5/5 for the series as a whole. Some books were better than others, though.

    Food

I just looked at how to make one of those and my mouth started water[melon]ing. That looks like a ton of fun to make, and pretty easy, too!

    Textbooks

If they're big textbooks (like, the cost is $100+), try Chegg. You can rent those books for like $40. Don't have to worry about selling it back or anything. Plus, they just give you a box to send them back in for free with a label.

You took 13.1 gigabytes worth of pictures of shirtless male friends? Or am I interpreting that completely wrong. You are interpreting that completely correctly. Soooo... is there somewhere on the internet I can find these? that was sarcasm
  23. Heh, nope. The end of Moss Mountain Town by the Album Leaf, and the end of Highways by Lanterna; those are the two that come to mind right now.
