I would have directed you to the archives, but it seems the threads were replaced by a random declaration. Look at the last two pages of this forum. Some remnants of TIF's glory days are there. There's bound to be something about The Alliance and The Golden Alliance. Clans like ST, MK, KT, Fear, and DS are probably there too.

I must say. These rules became increasingly attractive near the ending.

If they rematch, I believe DF would still win but with a smaller gap in final ops.

Before, the TWR hindered our growth because of the competition. In some cases, we had to accept declarations. Although we won our fair share, we also lost many wars because they were out of balance, such as 17 vs 28. At those low ops, it's hard to gain an advantage. Or we'd have matched wars with the opposing clan having an eight combat average advantage. I prefer our active ops to be much larger and our combat average to be higher before entering the TWR again. Meanwhile, we'll have non-TWR wars to prepare.

Is this your way of ending my retirement from TIF? This was my thought on and off for the month of September. When I made the final final final final decision (I had many flip-flops that month), I decided to take everything from a different perspective and not blow everything off as I did the last months before our nearly last rest. Thank you, everyone. So far, startup is running smoothly, and once the big ball gets rolling, I don't see it slowing for a while.

When I learned that the clan I've respected the most ever since I entered the clan world just closed, I didn't know what to say, think, or do. The clan world is shrinking from the increasing amount of retirees, and with P2P nearly gone, F2P has a little compensating to do. As jonni said, the generation I know is coming to an end, and the newer, smaller one is becoming permanent.

It's more like every other day for me, but I chose weekly. Well, if it was up to me... :thumbsup:
