I wonder how the girl feels when her friends ask her about Facebook. Would be rather awkward for her, wouldn't it?
  2. 1) They're riding, not running. 2) Also, they aren't doing it *for* the president, but *to*. 'For' implies selflessness on their part. 1 out of 3 people got the Swine Flu vaccine in 2009 (in the US).
  3. Do you want something to spice it up?
  4. Granted, but it's full of bedbugs. I wish I had something very delicious to eat.
  5. I hate having idiots like them in my group because they contribute nothing and expect the full reward. It's even worse when it's an art-related assignment because they hold me back. I've also been in several fights for reasons similar to your's (but a different condition, a mood disorder), but I always kept my fights short and to the point. Oddly, I was rarely punished and the worst I got was a warning. Never really lost a "fight" at all during my school life. Meh.
  6. I cringed reading that sentence because I feel your pain. Making a good drawing and someone accidentally destroys it by spilling something or putting their items on it. I don't have a personal desk in my room and have to use the living room table, so I cannot leave *any* of my art projects alone. :|
  7. I have a very long temper fuse and cannot seem to get worked up at all when I'm watching the news because of it. I'm able to sort the facts from the melodramatic crap that most media try to sensationalize in order to work up and draw others in. Still unsure if I should consider this cool, level-headed demeanor a blessing or some curse even though getting angry is next to impossible for me these days (compared to what my medium-length fuse from many years ago as a kid). Meh.

I know it's not 90's-worthy nostalgia, but does anyone remember this show by chance?
  9. Or accidentally biting your tongue or somewhere else on your mouth while eating. Cannot eat anything for ten minutes because of the faint taste of blood, which ruined what I was initially eating, which is rather irritating despite how rarely it happens to me. :|
  10. Will, when you mentioned Pokemon, are you talking of the early seasons or the series as a whole? Also, I'm very glad someone remembers Megas XLR. :P
  11. About to start Artemis Fowl: The Atlantis Complex. I'm mainly going to read it since I don't like leaving a series unfinished which is funny seeing I haven't gotten ahold of Brisingr and about three other books.

  13. I might be wrong, but didn't they dedicate an entire update week to the constitutution change? Guess this is a bit of an improvement  Wonder what this'll do to prices of alternatives, if anyone. Wonder what price they'll be (or stabilise at)... To top it off, my membership expires in under two hours, so I cannot experiment with the slow restore until I renew, which has a potential to be promising.
  14. Granted. The downside is that, in order to keep its flavor, a special parasite was added to it. To make things worse, the thing was very experimental and made the drink rather toxic to unknowing drinkers. Don't worry, you only suffer illness. I wish I could be better at stealing stuff.
  15. Will take me awhile to get used to seeing a large number for prayer points, but I can get used to it. Although, it seems weird to make one update dedicated solely to a new potion, herb, and secondary ingredient.
  16. At least you didn't pick up the trait of being blunt and direct like me. :|
  17. There are some good teachers in high schools. The only problem is that the school usually puts the status quo so highly that some teachers can't effectively use their methods to the fullest extent. :| Of course, I also got sent to the "counselor" for speaking bad about it in my school to the point they threatened to send me for "help" (overkill, isn't it?) because I basically told some of their loyalist students to quit sucking at what they did during pep rallies (which are obnoxious and I lost half a day's worth of total time of foreign language classes due to them).
  18. There have been five to six cases where I stole back the things that were confiscated from me back in Elementary School because I was planning on trading or selling Yu-gi-oh cards that day (they were all the rage to the point kids traded their chicken nuggets for an ultra rare). In middle and high school, I often observed the combinations being dialed in of lockers my neighbors were using to see what was inside. Never took a thing, but I was very curious at the time and enjoyed the thrill all because I was watching too many movies about thieves. Even managed to unlock my brother's door (he doesn't do much effort to hiding the key) a few times to "borrow" his things (like using his air conditioner or console). In short, I'm confessing to acting like a thief in a courteous way for a thrill as a child. At the same time I'm mentioning one of my minor secret skills.
  19. Please let us know how that prank goes if you remember, okay? I would love to know the details. :^_^:

 I entirely agree after the whole article. I even cringed when it went into the details, considering the possibility I cannot look at honey the same way again. >_>
  21. Agreed. You can get in trouble for being sick? It isn't like you asked for it. The rest sound rather silly to be honest.
  22. Spades? I assume you mean stakes? Personally, I just use the polearm since I am primarily a melee fighter and can hit hard without need to resort to potions or turmoil since vyrewatch (and the trivial juvinate) are easy to destroy. I don't exactly know your stats or preferences to know what to definitely suggest. Hope this helps in a way.
  23. Not into TV as much since half of it is unoriginal trash that is as tasteless as stale bread. The only shows I really watch now is online anime or Doctor Who with a random documentary on the history channel here and there. Lately, I cannot watch a show halfway in without deleting it from the DVR.
  24. I might as well throw my own thoughts on this also since everyone seems to have something to say about it. I agree that Jagex had the right intentions to why they did this action since they want to keep their image as a company to US players. Personally, I just felt the method was a bit humiliating since hiker is getting heat from both the community and some fansite users themselves because they just got a curve ball telling them that their founder had a dark past. Runevillage may be a dying fansite but the whole community didn't really deserve this sudden change of events, did they? :-|
