  1. They forgot to up the cap on high level spells too. High level spells are still capped at level 80, instead of 90. Glacors take forever to kill. You splash 3/4 of the time... :? Put some testing into updates like these for once, Jagex.
  2. I don't understand why it's so difficult for them to balance dual wielding. Just change it so your main hand does 100% and your offhand does 50% ability damage. There, problem solved! God...
  3. Good job, Jagex. Dual wield damage with abilities hasn't changed, so the new weapons are garbage. The chaotic maul is still the best weapon to use.
  4. Dual CCB. Less overkill and higher chance of doing critical hits.
  5. It's easy to figure out what the stats of the new level 90 weapons will be. They'll have the same stats as promethium weapons. And the fact that a level 80 2h weapon will deal more damage than level 90 dual wield weapons just shows how unbalanced the EoC really is.
  6. The new dual wield weapons are going to be pretty useless. You'll still do more damage with abilities with a chaotic maul.
  7. Why are some people so against the idea of adding a strength bonus to higher level armor? The Rejuvenatie nerf is a bit too much. The cooldown shouldn't be more than 2 or 3 minutes. And I really hope they will give dual wield a 50% boost to abilities soon, and to Magic abilities with a staff too.

  11. I am getting 308k Magic xp/h at glacors. I'm getting 340k xp/h now @ 57 kph.
  12. When I tested it myself, at 36lp, Dharok's did more damage than a chaotic maul with normal attacks, but not with abilities.

  14. Prayers keep confusing me. With Torment on, using Wreck, I get a 20% boost. Using Chain, I get a 25% boost. Using Asphyxiate, I get a 15% boost. By the way, did you know that abilities don't interfere with auto attacks for Magic? Save for Asphyxiate, because you channel that ability. So it is best to use abilities to fill in the void that you have in between of your normal attacks.

  17. My hits were capped at around 5,125 or so on the NPC dummies when I gave Dharok's a try a couple of days ago.
  18. You can do that with Melee and Ranged as well. So that doesn't really justify Magic abilities all dealing the same damage, whether if you're using a staff or a wand. Auto attack damage is also the same for all three classes.
  19. How is Magic the most powerful combat style? The abilties deal very low damage, when compared to Melee.
  20. This is pathetic. I'm getting outhit by a dharoker at K'ril, and I'm using mage, dreadnips and a full adrenaline bar at start. Magic is too weak, and Dharok's set effect is too strong. Fix this, Jagex. :?
  21. Did some testing on dual wielding, using Fire Surge, no potions, no prayers. Max hit according tot the Combat Stats interface was 867. My sample size is 1,000 casts. Highest normal hit: 669 Highest critical hit from normal attack: 833 Highest normal hit while under the metamorphosis effect: 1,257 I think it's pretty safe to say that critical hits do 25% extra damage.
