  1. Slayer helm is a 12,5% boost for abilities, by the way. Why do they keep giving things like the Slayer helm, prayers and potions, these odd numbers? Just give them a 15% boost or something. Keep it simple.
  2. I just can't with this game... Against other players, Wild Magic does hit twice, for 25 - 250% spell damage. But for whatever reason, it only hits once, for 25 - 219% spell damage on monsters. ... ...

    Just use Soul Split. That was more than enough healing for me.
  4. Defeated him on my second attempt. I just went in there with full torva and a chaotic maul. I ignored all the stuff he spawned, and just focused on him. I used a stun ability every time it came off cooldown. Don't really get why some people are having so much difficulty with beating him.

  7. Really? I reckon Melee & Mage are close and Range is under powered. Nope... I'll give you an example: Pierching Shot (125% weapon damage ability) with a royal crossbow: 1,588 damage. Wreck (125 spell damage ability) with a chaotic staff and Fire Surge: 956 damage. Slice (125% weapon damage ability) with a chaotic maul: 1,588 damage.
  8. They really need to do something about Magic. It's underpowered at the moment. Did they intentionally reduce your damage with abilities if you use a staff, or is that a bug? Melee does A LOT more damage on average per ability. It's not fair.
  9. Bloodfire spells deal extra damage too. I use Bloodfire Blitz at glacors.
  10. I hit 785 with Chain, using Ice Barrage. Weapon Stats interface said my max hit was 885. Same with Ice Blitz. Hit 1,720 with Wild Magic.
  11. How can you send feedback to them? Why do people use Momentum at glacors? Using abilities is much faster. Ability damage is doubled as well.
  12. I was getting 765 crits with Chain, using Fire Surge @ 99 Magic. The Weapon Stats interface said my max was 867.
  13. How come the Ranged set gives the least amount of defence to Magic and the Magic set gives the most defence to Ranged?
  14. It's sad to see what has become of my favorite minigame. It's deserted, save for the AFKers... Now that I mention it, everything seems quite deserted to me. How come?
  15. No. It doesn't matter what Magic weapon you use, you'll deal the same damage with abilities if you were to use a wand + shield, instead of a staff. Which is lame.
  16. Overloads do 14,25% more damage with Melee and Ranged, and 17,75% - 18% with Magic. With abilities, at least.
  17. I wouldn't be surprised if Turmoil and Anguish give a 25% boost for normal attacks, and 18,75% for abilities.
  18. I just tested turm, hit a 1294 with just a rapier at 99 strength. That would indicate a 20% boost, at least. Was that with a normal attack, or with an ability?
  19. In case anyone's interested, here's by how much prayers boost your damage. Tested with abilities only. Ultimate Strength: 11,25% Overpowering Force: 11,25% Overcharge: 15% Chivalry: 13% Piety: 15% Rigour: 15% Augury: 20% Turmoil: 18,75% Anguish: 18,75% Torment: 25%
  20. Well, void still gives a 10% damage boost, which is always useful.
  21. it's only a level 60 spell. Air Wave does more damage too. Also, keep in mind that any spell that's level 80 and higher all deal the same damage. At least, until they release higher levelled weapons into the game.
  22. They should change potions so that it doesn't increase your levels anymore, and instead gives you a simple damage increase for five minutes. 5% for normal potions, 10% for super potions and 15% for extreme/overload potions.

  24. Where's this from? From me. :wink: And no, Divine Storm isn't better than Surge spells. They fixed that a while ago. Storm of Armadyl with the ABS does the most damage now.
