  1. You have less overkill if you're "dual casting". Other than that, the DPS is exactly the same, both for normal attacks and for abilities. Can't go any more in depth than that, really. Lol. Edit: the bonus damage you get from virtus armor favors dual casting.
  2. What's the best way of leveling Smithing nowadays? Is still still smithing adamant platebodies?
  3. It's a shame you can't look their levels up in the Bestiary. Their combat levels are 156, so they probably have 78 in combat stats. (I'm Latin)

  7. As much as I love to complain about Jagex and the EoC, they never disappoint when it comes to graphics. ^
  8. Seems like the combat formula doesn't apply to monsters. KK has level 85 in combat stats, but his combat level is 230.
  9. It'll be fun to PK with Magic using the double cast trick again.
  10. Jagex balancing at its finest. Instead of toning the xp down so it's on par with other monsters of the same level, they nerf the xp so much that it's not even worth it to fight them anymore.
  11. I'm sorry for being negative again, but that's a pretty depressive amount of fixes to the EoC, considering it's been two weeks since the last update to the EoC.
  12. I often wonder what goes through their minds when they make weird decisions like those. Is it rude of me to think that I could easily do a much better job at balancing stuff than Jagex can?

  16. This isn't the first time they apologize for something, only to continue making the same mistakes. I remember them saying a while ago that they would tone the amount of SoF/SGS on the homepage down, and nothing changed about that. The amount of RWTers is still depressing. We have bots that gamble and ones that farm the QBD. It's been months since they put the EoC in the live game, and there are STILL so many balance issues, it's pretty depressing. It's nice and all that they apologize for their mistakes and plan to improve, but I'm taking it all with a grain of salt.
  17. Given how difficult this task set is (or at least the time investment required), an ancient wand of tier 70 to 75 would have been a completely appropriate reward. Yeah, exactly. I'd make it level 75, since we already have Ahrim's wand for level 70.
  18. What is the point of putting another level 75 staff into the game, when we already have the SoL and polypore staff for that tier? Come on now, Jagex. Make it a level 78 staff or something. Or better yet: they could've put an ancient wand into the game.

  20. Weapons that are classified as fastest deal 100% damage, fast weapons deal 80% damage and average speed weapons deal 65% damage.
  21. Well, they increased the defence of most monsters today (I was splashing 3/4 of the time on glacors, using a chaotic staff), so accuracy might be a lot more important now.
  22. Just because dual wield is better than 2h with Momentum due to less overkill, does not warrant it doing the same damage as 1h weapons with abilities. When did they put the EoC in the game? 2 months? Issues like these should have been fixed in the beta, or 1 - 2 weeks after it was put in game. This, along with staves not boosting ability damage, your mage level not taken into count with mage abilities, and bugged abilities like Wild Magic, should have been fixed a long time ago.
  23. Dual wield is inferior to 2h, because the offhand weapon isn't taken in count when using abilities. They should have fixed this a while ago, but for some reason, they haven't.... Sorry for complaining so much, but Jagex has to be one of the worst companies I've ever seen when it comes to balancing stuff. There are still so many issues going on that have been in the game since beta and they STILL haven't been fixed.
  24. Was to be expected. The new weapons are inferior to the chaotic maul, so I'm not surprised they're so cheap already.
