Thank you Quyneax. I asked this question to my clan members as well. Turns out, it is my Spellcaster gloves. I'm glad I am not going crazy :)
-
This is gonna come out completely crazy, but I think I'm going bonkers! Here I am, minding my own business while doing a mining daily and my Slayer task at the same time, the living rocks start attacking me. That's all plain and simple. However, it got interesting, as I saw I was deflecting a small portion of the damage. Not much, only like 1-14 damage, but its enough. MY question is, How? I didn't have Deflect Curse on at the time. That's the only logical explanation I can come up with.

This is going to sound crazy coming from a Combat Level 200 player, but... I need advice. I am going headlong into a Greater Demon Slayer task, and am going to do it at Zamorak God Wars. Here's how I plan to go in: Head: Full Slayer Mask Amulet: Amulet of Fury Weapon: Saradomin Godsword Ammo: Zamorak arrow (This is to protect me from the minions) :) Body: Bandos Chestplate Leggings: Tetsu Leggings Aura: Vampirism Ring: Berserker Ring Scrimshaw of Vampirism However, I get the sneaky feeling that I may be able to only get 2-3 kills in before I retreat, but I still want to do my killing here Any advice plz? My stats are in my sig. Thanks.

I'm stuck in a situation that i cant get out of. I am crusading my way toward the Ritual of the Majarhatt quest, but I need lvl 76 Mining and lvl 77 Agility. Currently I have lvl 74 in both skills. I would boost them to reach the skill lvls, but quest guide says no to that. I need to know what the fastest way to get to the quest requirements are. I currently plan to stay at the Lava Flow Mine for the Mining, and when that's done, I'm going to Ape Atoll with Sure-footed/Wisdom Auras for 77 Agility. Any other advice would be accepted and considered. I'm that desprate, lol. Thank you in advance.

Greater Demon drop update, no pic :(
RaelinRainheart posted a topic in Completed Website Corrections
Deamondancer here with an update for you Tip.it I recently got a 28 clean torstol drop from a greater demon, while on the beastairy page, it only reads at 25. I cant pic, so I know I cant have it confirmed, and I apologize for that -
Well then, it looks like I have my work cut out for me. I have 116k worth of tokens toward the chaotic rapier/longsword (most likely rapier, cause of speed), and I shall keep going for it, come hell or high water. Either way, once I get it, I am going to thrust right into Nomad's face. Quyneax, thank you for your help. :) Runescape needs more people like you.

Ok, so I've engaged Nomad three times and died all three times, even though I brought a ring of life with me. The ring does not go off, saving me, but will a pheonix necklace? Im guessing Nomad doesnt like people teleing out the throne room. Also, I have outfitted myself with the tokkul-zo ring (I'm using Ythaar title :)) Should I work on dunging till I get 200k tokens for chaotic rapier? I have about 103K tokens right now

Tip.it, I call upon you will a message of help. I am at the tail end of the Nomad's Requim quest. The one thing left for me to do is kill Nomad himself. I know its not gonna be easy so I ask you: What should I bring to the fight? My current thought of the killing setup is: Head: Ganodermic Visor Torso: Ganodermic Poncho Melee Weapon: Korasi's Sword Ranged Weapon: Rune Crossbow Legs: Ganodermic Poncho Off-hand: Dragon Defender Ammo: Ruby bolts (e) Boots: Dragon Boots Gloves: Culirmancer's gloves 10 Ring: Most likely none, since row wont help here Aura: Reverance Cape: Cape of Legends Inventory is stuffed with prayer pots, brews, restores and rocktails. I do not have acces to ardy cape, fire cape, any 99 capes or eee. Other than that, plz feel free to comment on what I should do. I am aiming to down Nomad on try 1.

Do you remember the Death Plateau quest and the follow-up quest after that? Just follow that route starting from the sherpa's house. Be sure to buy some spiked boots before you depart the house of the sherpa.

TMHT June Calendar

Oh yeah! Im excited! Count me and my gano armor in on at least one of the events! -
First of all, I appluad you on youre decision to go kill what is arguable the hardest boss in the game (so I've heard). Granted, I have not done the quest yet, as I am currently on a Fire cape run, but several of my clanmates have defeated Nomad and this is what they had recommended. Nomad will attack with mostly magic attacks, so Praying againest Magic, whether its a curse or a prayer is a must. The best way to attack him is range in my clan's opinion. Also a must in the fight are sara brews or rocktails. This is because one of Nomad special attacks will nail you for one over your max HP (for example, if your Con lvl is 95, The attack will hit for 951.) Dont worry, after this attack, a pause is given to you. Im guessing thats Nomad's only mercy moment. Also, as mentioned in the guide, try not to play hide-and-seek too long with him. Hide for too long, you are dubbed a 'Coward!' by Nomad and thusly restores all his HP. Last but not least, BE PREPARED TO DIE MANY TIMES! One of my mates said he died like 25 times before killing Nomad. Dont worry. The guide says your grave will be at Soul Wars. That's it from me. Good Luck. Slice off his head!

You see them all around you, always slient, yet always persisent. Bots. They are the slimy roaches of Runescape that bring the prices of the finest items down, block you when you need that one more kill to finish a slayer task, take your box and your red chin, and overall make your experience a living hell. But what if, WHAT IF,you got the chance, seized it, and laughed in the face of the bot as you gobble up that rare drop? That is what I am making this rant on. Post on here, how, under heavy bot pressure and one stolen item after another, grabbed your chance by the horns and was smiled upon by Lady Luck I will begin this with a story of my own that inspired me to make this. I was at Taverly Dungeon, doing a slayer task of 177 Black Demons. Now, you all know Taverly Dungeon Black Demons, and how bots plug the area like a hairball in your sink. I had the last laugh however, when I slew one of the demons and got the rare drop of 150 Rune arrows. My cannon/korasi has shined bright this day, during a time of dark storms. I cordially invite you to share your own stories.

yeah I guess, but I want something good grrr Welcome to the club. Here's your exclusive pass. *hands shantay pass to criminal*

I see. Having just gotten Korasi, I wouldn't of known that. Does it only chain to one other target, or does the sword strike multiple at once with the spec?
-
So a funny thing happened to me earlier, I'm doing my slayer task of 66 suqahs, and having just completed The Void Stares Back, im using Korasi's sword. (thank you in advance) I break out the special and it hits the suqah, BUT THEN it seems to chain to a second suqah at half damage. MY question, was it a glitch or something that has like a 5% chance of doing?

I just want to have fun when it comes to runescape. It's my stress reliver. When I'm under stress, i usually turn to RS. However, when I see a bot, whether its at blue dragons or kalphites, I wanna scream!
-
Bottom line is shadow, bots are a disease that has infected RS worldwide. No matter where you are or how few players are on the world a bot or two is among them They reduce the fun of all activities and send prices down the tubes in a handbasket. They are the reason spectral shields are priced where they are instead of where they should be. Now, granted, I have not seen them do major deeds, like at GWD, but I'm sure they'll be a day when I log on, go to GWD and see 3-4 bots puting the kiting strategy on Commander Zilyana. It will be a sad day.

True Blaze. Very true. But sometimes, its so obvious, its hard to tell when they're not a bot! Typical bot setup at dragons of any kind: Abyssal whip Granite body Dragon platelegs Anti-dragon shield Inventory consists of lobsters and usually a teletab. And honestly, how many times have you seen a bot NOT follow this guideline. You see it so many times, your mind automatically goes: "****, bot" Typical setup for a bot doing runecrafting runs: Staff of any kind Hunter pet Need i go on?
