  1. Why would anyone not consider you a F2P skiller? That's something that is perfectly available as a pure F2P. That's like if Jagex released a new skill that F2P could completely access and F2P skillers didn't want to train it because that content wasn't available before. Or any content that was P2P-only in the past and was made available to F2P.
  2. I went and sold all of my stuff and bought as many Santa hats as I could with the money instead of doing a drop party with everything. (Got rid of the rune platebody/platelegs too.)
  3. Ya but like where should I start? How should I make actual coins? I think I'm going to allow myself to keep my rune platebody/platelegs and my axe/pick, but I have no idea how I should obtain the rest. Going to make a drop party with the rest of my stuff :P
  4. Tips on starting out as DIY? I'm going to convert my current OSRS character into a DIY.
  5. They're the same thing, the only difference is that the black ones are riper.
  6. Lol I disagree with the part where he says "if you have to ask, then you know there is something wrong with it so don't do it." I've had to ask if using joy2key to play using a controller could be flagged as botting, doesn't mean there actually was anything wrong with doing it.
  7. Every kind of armour is just as tanky as the others, as long as they are the same level. The only difference is what style they defend the best against and what style they are weak to.
  8. Honestly hate the Guaranteed Content Polls as they are being used in Old School and now invading the regular game. Its ok if Jagex wants to put out a poll where people can vote on what minor updates they want like in the past. The quest one was even fine because its not like we'll never get the gnome and pirate finales just because we voted for dwarves. However, when the content polls are requiring a 75% chance for content to even make it into the game then its going too far. Allowing 26% of the base to deny the rest of the players content sounds terrible for almost any online community, and especially for runescape's community where individuals are so divided on what they want and expect from the updates. I could see it getting to the point where a segment votes no on anything they won't personally use. "Another boss....no we've had too many" or "A skill update...no, I only do combat". Let alone on an update like an sgs pet that really won't hurt anyone by existing. Or a recent example: Choosing a ripoff of GoT over more original outfits like K_aylee's outfit. You're trying to make it sound like this is an objectively bad choice just because you don't like it yourself. >_>
  9. Found the missing Dragon ball! Hiding the body:
  10. Mining/Smithing can be boosted from 78/80 respectively for BotD with the help of a Dwarven stout (m) and possibly from 75/77 if you're *very* lucky with spicy stews.
  11. Hopefully this means we finally have the option of a client that downloads the full game instead of relying on streaming everything directly with the help of some cache. Other games have far better graphics while being able to run at a constant 60fps on a mid-level computer, yet Runescape can barely get a constant 45-50 fps on even the better gamimg rigs. ??? Glad they finally are realizing that they're just shooting themselves in the foot by insisting on limiting themselves to Java/Browsers. Yes, they may lose the people who liked being able to just type in the address and play within 5 minutes, but times change and continuing on that path is a bad idea, IMO. They can attract more people to the game if they have it run natively on their OS; people will be more willing to try out the game if the graphics are pleasing and if it runs well, as opposed to seeing the game having trouble running well and with sub-par graphics.
  12. I don't know, it may have been hotfixed during the day, I haven't had the opportunity to play since ~1am this morning.
  13. I don't like this new G.E. interface because it is much too responsive (you click on an item in the retrieve box and the interface changes screen immediately, but it still has to wait a tick before the item is actually added to your inventory; it isn't properly synchronized, which makes it look unprofessionnal.) I also don't like how it doesn't automatically attemp to sell every item in a stack and defaults to 1. You try to sell a stack of 50 items, G.E. shows 50 for a few ticks then it goes back to 1. Why? I like the visuals, though, because I think every interface matching together and using the same style is a good thing. Blue's not really my cup of tea, but they said they'd add an option to change to different interface looks later on; it's just a matter of patience. (Besides, bigger + - buttons makes it easier to click on them.)
  14. Ha, it took me a really long time before I decided to go and complete those two quests as well (except for QPC and not comp.)
  15. Fashionscaping level: otherworldly
  16. Hmm I didn't know it was possible to do this. I don't actually have a use for such a feature right now, but that might come in handy later.
  17. Captain please
  18. Why do you keep private messages showing in both the split chat and your main chat window?
  19. That has been possible since the interface overhaul in 2007, I think the functionality was removed with the NIS though.
