The first one is a bit over exposed Not too fond of the birds, to me there is a lack of focus on the subject although each to their own... The Flowers could all use a touching up in photoshop but are nice And i have to jump on the bandwagon and agree the i like the leaf more than any other. Dont know why it just a great photo. I dont know why Guthix_Girl is approving of it because quite frankly a monkey with a bannana and no computer skills could punch out stuff like that 8 hours a day 7 days a week for a nickle. All you've done is found an image gone into paint (i'm assuming paint due to the lack off effects used) and you typed. If you ask me it doesn't look too bad for a sketch, although i would flip the flame coming out of his hand. At the moment it does look very strange. Quickly just editing your picture to show you what i mean (hope you dont mind) Black Flat

PNGs are usually a huge file size but have highest quality. Optimising a signature (excluding pixel) into a jpg usually has the same look. I always save my sigs as .png they do have IMO the best quality, and I can always get my .png's under 30kb very easily, mabye it's just the program I use, FireWorks MX ( By macromedia ) but it is really good with optimizing .png's and alot of other image types \ i can also save layered .png's but I like the sig, it's like my first one, kinda simple, but it looks nice :P Now that macromedia doesn't exist anymore hopefully adobe will use their compression methods and put it into more use in photoshop and imageready... But sseli I use Photoshop CS2 so its gunna be exactly the same as yours (i dont like it when people abrivate the programs into 3 or 4 letters because it can confuse me so im assuming you have Photoshop CS) Click on file, then instead of going to save go a few lower down and click on save for web Change the scroll menu under presets to JPEG then goto the right of that and click optimise. Then simply fiddle with the quality bar and it will change the file size drastically before touching the image quality (although if you zoom in it wont look as clean cut) I set yours at 79 as that was as high as it could go before going over 30kb's... The meaning of renders has been greatly misconstrued. Some people call images renders Some people call cut out images renders Some people call CG renders... Sorry if this is a misconception as I didn't mean to do that, if people wanted me to cut out each individual image then I may be able to come out with a pack once every 2 to 3 months... Since no one on tip.it seems to give out any image packs I figured that I might. For those un-aware of what a image pack is let me educate you - A image pack is not a pack of renders but instead a group of images that all share a common interest (in this case Angelina Jolie) So these image packs are basically a lot of pictures of Angelina Jolie (not too many, around 350) I didn't want to cram too much into each pack and so I have limited them to around 10 megs, roughly... It's obvious that you have tallent when it comes to making sigs... unfortunantly you do not share that tallent with your ability to come up with well blended concepts. Everyone of those sigs that you have posted dont look good at all to me, the overuse of dull colours in EVERY sig, the random effects. To me it looks like you've matched random effects with your sigs, i don't like that. They seem ill thought out and as though youve just started to make a sig then realised "oh i just remembered how to do an effect that I like" and you put it in there even though it doesn't match... I'm after a few render packs, i had over 25,000 pics but my computer died about a year ago and i havn't been too bothered about re building until now, i've started but so far over only got a measily 2,500... So if anyone has or knows of any good render packs i would love to know, i'm not too sure if this is done widely on tip.it, but hopefully soon tip.it'ers will have a wide variety of render packs to choose from to help get them started/boost their collection... I'm not too sure if this is allowed on tip.it, so please if it isn't then mod's or users, please let me know. Also if anyone knows any free hosting sites i would be more than happy to post some renders (in catagories such as aston martins, angelina jolie etc.....) Black Flat

Can't say that i'm impressed... I do like the picture, but the over expositure (I believe it's a real word but don't quote me on it) and those damned squares... If I see those damned overused and abused squares one more time im gunna jump off a cliff face (not literally, but I said it for dramatic effect) To me it looks as though you havn't done enough to the picture a quick 10 min job by the looks of it. Nice pixel, But honestly its a tribute to a bit of a puntsy band (not having heard any of their songs, i'll quickly goto youtube and form my own opinion) but the lead plays guitar with a damn glove on, and the drummer doesn't even have any symbols, just a top hat (not sure if you're adding these later), but put a decent set of pearls or ziljans on there... Must say the shading is phenominal on the left guy... Things to fix up imo : Add an effects pedel and equilizer to the guy with the electric Add symbols Finish off the fret board on the bassist, it doesnt have a head yet :-k Please excuse the lack of musical lingo, i'm an amature guitarist not heavily into the 'industry know how' Edit - I've just watched a primus video and i've gotta say 'one is not amused' Although their bass guitarist plays a mean slap... Im so over coin rooms, not saying its a bad sig, just its been done, over and over and over.... Try to think up some new ideas, like zezimas head on a board or a throne room filled with rares on shelfs and guards wearing full dragon...... Not a bad pixel sig at all, just its originality..... Fake 3's and 1's way over used, the M is in the wrong spot it should be a few pixels closer to the numbers, I'm sure if you had rares such as party hats or halloween masks you would keep the sets together... Not bad for a first fake, The rune essance number prolly looks the most realistic of the lot. Remember that the placing of numbers is very important, dont keep changing the spacings (3px, 1px, 2px, 3px ect.) Not too bad for a first fake, but remember take steps not leaps and bounds, a slighter fake looks alot more realistic than a fake such as what you have done (not even sure if that makes sence) Try to limit the numbers a bit more, 7 halloween sets looks more realistic that 311... He can't afford a cintique, i wish we could all afford cintiques :cry:, But in all honesty bigger is better, and hence the saying. The smaller you go the harder it is, i hate hitting the edges of mine, i could be working on a peice then have to re-draw alot of it because i dont like to make alot of different pen strokes, i keep them to a minimum, hitting the edge though gives you a vertical or horizontal line, and that sucks. Honestly i would stick to WACOM, if you can then try to get an a4, or an a3 if possible, NEVER BUY A GRAPHICS TABLET OFF EBAY!!!! I may have a biast opion but a freind of mine bought a 'brand new' graphics tablet off ebay, when it arrived it was smashed due to poor packing and some incredibly rought delivery men... (It looked like someone had stood on it) I've played around with other brands and honestly none are as strong and sterdy as WACOM, as for scratching, as long as you keep the plastic cover on it then they dont scratch. Another thing i love about WACOM's is that (if you buy the right one) they have a plastic cover, lift the plastic cover and put a picture in there, you can trace it perfectly. Helps for if you've drawn something and you dont have a scanner. Alot of other tablets i've played with dont have this (just those damn black grids... how i hate the black grids dont get me started) Black flat

The older ones arn't very mobile (you have to have forearms like popeye to carry em around) well the ones that have the capability of todays wacom's... I would personally love to have a nice wacom tablet pc, but they sort of start at 2,000 and go upwards it just gets a bit crazy. Black flat
