  1. Personally, I love self-development. My biggest "general" self-development goal is to be the best "jack-of-all-trades" that I can possibly be. In the short term, I would love to get my body back into shape, hopefully somewhere around 5% body fat (currently around 15%) - this will become easier as the dark and gloomy winter days disappear into spring and summer. In the long term, I would like to get at least two bachelors and masters degrees, and maybe (hopefully) pursue atleast one PhD if not more. I would also like to continue to improve my knowledge of guitar (and variations), piano, drums, and hopefully go on to learn violin, cello, and possibly even viola. Also of course things like a family, getting married, etc. would be nice as well. I'd also love to become completely fluent in Spanish and become knowledgeable (fluent enough to read/hear) in Portuguese and German (I am predicting these will be the upcoming most powerful countries in the next 30 years).
  2. Please post video of it accidentally going through a window. 10$ it eventually happens.
  3. The pets would run away from you... That's but one room. Hardly justifies the skill as a whole. But it does count as a 'single meaningful utility update' that occurred 'since its inception' hence why miss lioness choose to bold that part of the post which she quoted. Guys stop being such douche[canoes] and stay on topic, he made one generalization, chill the [bleep] out. Will be updating first post with proposed ideas. @MotherBrainII, good points, I'd agree, though as other's have pointed out the Menagerie update has been kind of nice, less of a crowded bank (lol because P2P banks get crowded - since when?). YEAH GUYS, CHILL OUT. YOU GUYS ARE GETTING REALLY RAMBUNCTIOUS, YOU ASSBLASTING SHITFEELING BUTTTRENCHES. I want at least a deposit box in my PoH. Maybe a full fledged bank. Just a graphics update would be nice, though, and maybe an option that allows us to move around rooms without having to demolish them. Hahaha, well played. Was just pointing out the slide-off-topic. Anyways; good points. P.S. Moved suggestions, if anyone wants to condense them into bullet points that area easier to read, feel free (and repost here).

  5. Crying. I can touch my nose with my tongue..and underneath my chin. I have a lazy eye (can look around with one of my eyes while the other is stationary). I can do the weird/creepy breathing in voice. I can copy dolphine and elephant noises.
  6. OT: That's a wonderful idea, but what in runescape isn't cube-related? Even the ground we walk on is like that. I think they could atleast make the houses more edittable ( curved wall edits, arch ways, etc.), but none of that increases the usefulness (and renown) of the skill - which is diminishing. I think placing items wherever idea is kinda impossile. Rendering would lag like [bleep].
  7. Interesting... I honestly am never sure how useful these "mass bans" are. I feel if anything the biggest thing jagex needs to learn to do is to create it's own coding strategy, one that is not so easily platformed by bots. Similar to the affect that updates have on bots this would not just remove bots (which in the long run does nothing, bots are easily replaced) but would entirely disable any platforms outside of the RS server. Not being a techie means, to be honest, for all I know this may be impossible. But just my thoughts.
  8. Some overworld use would be nice for some more examples of what could be done: One off Edgeville repair work Mixture of one off and repeatable repair works around West Ardy to make it into a normal city repeatable ones being like patching up buildings otherwise shops shut etc. Similar things could be done in the Varrock slums and Burgh De Rott Oh that's brilliant. And maybe as you repair cities you get rewards (new D&D I per chance?) or maybe new customizables for your house? As you get higher levels you could repair cities more and retain more rewards thus maybe making Construction not wntirely a money sink? Or maybe like if you repair a city, say Falador, you could access a special avility, weapon, or armor depending on the city. Example: Falador 100% repairs (requrss 99 construction) unlocks your use of an ultimate ability called Righteous Wrath which maintains 100% prayer with 10% deflect of damage dealt against you for 5minutes. But as the city deteriates you have to keep it up to date to maintain the ability. Or something like that.
  9. So, assuming you guys are a pretty knowledgable group of people I think I will partake of some of that knowledge. D&Ds seem like a wonderful way to get "free" levels, however there are so many different ones I don't really know where to start. I just recently created my account so for the most part just assume my levels are 1. Currently I am only doing daillies. My question for you is: What SKILLER (no combat based one's please) D&Ds are best? And could you link me to their guide or do a quick explanation of what to do? What routines would you recommend? Etc. Discuss.
  10. Well said. My appreciation for your post went over 9000 because of that quote. When I get home from classes, I will start compiling the list of sugestions you guys have made and put in the first post so new viewers don't have to read all of this so as to not be reptative (as the post grows).
  11. Some very good ideas. Though on the housing communities idea, I was saying that you could, essentially, have a village with you and your closest friends (maybe up 6?) and that would allow you to train with them, etc. Could be really laggy though depending on the person. Because when construction was released, there wasn't any high level content and therefore efficiency wasn't essential for everyone who wants to access high level content. If Jagex had said back then, "We're releasing a really cool D&D that requires 90 Slayer/Runecrafting/Prayer (etc.)" they'd have been laughed out of the RSOF. We're talking about a time where Barrows was the best sets of armours and the abyssal whip and a rune defender were the weapons to have. None of those things require much in the way of "efficiency" to obtain, so if you had any spare cash, you could afford to spend it on construction. Fast forward six or seven years, and that's not the case any more. There's a relatively huge amount of high level content. Nowadays, we have tens of thousands of players using things like PoP. Anything that requires money to be spent on must also contribute to efficiency in some way; 92 Prayer for soul split; 96 Herblore for Ovls (etc.); 90 Crafting/Runecrafting/Smithing to make PoP armours. Construction offers nothing past level 72, apart from aesthetics, and so there's simply no need to train it when there's other things to spend gold on. Nowadays, if it doesn't make you more efficient or improve your combat potential, it ain't worth it. Construction does not, and never did, help towards either of those two aims (gilded altar excepted, but even then you can use someone else's). Furthermore, on the Runecrafting point, Jagex have made very clear indications they wish the skill to be less about making ammo for magic spells, and more about making Runecrafting to Magic what Smithing is to Melee, and what Crafting is to Ranged. Brilliant point right here.
  12. Thank you! Yeah I am extremely excited myself to see the outcome, it'll be a long (and probably tiring) process but the the final product will quite awesome. I dabble in and out of the HYT fc (and have seen you a few times), so I shall see you in there (and I will add you next time I am able to get on). Cheers, mate. Small update: On the levels side of things I found out that I need 48 Crafting in order to get my Family Crest banner and shield, so I will hopefully get that today/tomorrow with minimal money spending. Otherwise will just be working on increasing my cash pile - crossed 5M gp last night.
  13. Slightly untrue. All we have from jmods is that they want to do an overhaul of the skill, nothing about when. They also have indicated mining, smithing and summoning are up for overhauls. Problem with those being overhauled is for the most part they are still useful. Mining makes money, and summoning well summons. Smithing would be the only one that could be more useful, but i honestly am unsure as to what they could add to that. Construction, as Vezon was implying, literally has little to no use.
  14. Ahhh that's a pretty brilliant idea, though the bank idea may be abit far fetched, then again training would be near impossible without it. A random idea came to mind (that'd probably be a bad one but i'll say it anyways): housing communities? Almost taking from the clan citadels idea but allowing players to build houses together (and if implementing your idea) ultimately training together.
  15. I believe salamanders would be better. Falconry is very click intensive, so personally I'd do sallies over it. But both would probably get you to 60 at about the same rate, assuming you stayed focused during falconry.
  16. I may be old fashioned with this but are altars still best way to enhance prayer EXP? Any ideas/suggestions as to what would be a way to improve it? I thought one idea would be that destroying rooms atleast gave money back (from initial purchase i.e. fancy garden returned 75k upon removal). Even on a real-life logical basis that makes sense - tearing down a room you could sell the wood, etc., though it'd probably be worth less then the original purchase. So, maybe a 75% return?
  17. Seeing as my most recent obsession to train in game is Construction, I thought I'd make a topic of it. As I worked on the skill and spoke with friends I quickly learned that very few people care for the skill/do not see it fit to train very much. What are you thoughts on why the skill is dying? If applicable, what would you say could improve the skill and why? Discuss. I will respond as I see fit. [spoiler=Suggestions posted about already] Some overworld use would be nice for some more examples of what could be done: One off Edgeville repair work Mixture of one off and repeatable repair works around West Ardy to make it into a normal city repeatable ones being like patching up buildings otherwise shops shut etc. Similar things could be done in the Varrock slums and Burgh De Rott Oh that's brilliant. 18. Finished the entirety of my first post! Small Update: Will hopefully close today with about 800k additional cash. I hope tomorrow to pass the 5M cash block, putting me right on track to have 10M by the weekend (that should be enough funds for me to get 70-80 Construction). Weekend plans: -70-80 Construction -Get Gilded Altar -Maybe Max Dining Room
  19. Ew you got so nooby, howwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I just kidding, keep it bro. Miss you, brahstein. <3: (incase you didn't know) ~Loving Brah
  20. Goals: 80+ in all Enjoyed Skiller Stats Get 200M+ cash for SideProject and other stuff (see below) Most Recent: [spoiler=SideProject1.0] I sat here for awhile trying to decide what angle I should take on how to start this blog, and you know what, I'm going to mix it up some. Here's a Table of Contents if you would like to skip forward some. Table of Contents I. The Introduction II. The Plan i. The Progress III. How YOU can Help IV. About Me V. Conclusion and Thanks I. The Introduction In 2006 as most of you know, a now nearly unmentioned skill, Construction, was released. Towards the beginning of 2007, (when I actually had the funds, back in my newbie days, to start construction) I fell in love with this wonderful skill. The act of designing, creating, building, utilizing, and just enjoying one's own house, is a thing I love doing, even in realscape I enjoy perfecting my house to how it best suits me (and who knows maybe one day I'll construct my own house in real life, too). Wow, I got sidetracked, anyways, back on subject. Let's fast forward 6 or so years - February 2013, the end of February that is. I have had 6 years of on and off playing of this phenomenal game (regardless of point of views everyone can agree it's development is quite original, in of itself). And I have decided to seek one of my life-time RS goals: my ultimate house. This should be a special on HGTV or something, but alas, it's not - anyways. So what is the ultimate house you may ask? Honestly, that question is far to individualistic for me to answer as a whole, so I will try to give you a glimpse into my mind about how I wish my ultimate house to look. Please keep arms, legs, hammers, saws, and pet Ravens inside the car at all times, and remain seated until the end of the ri- II. The Plan As I began to get my construction level up, I began formulating the layout for my house. I decided that I wanted a larger first floor, with a villa-like feel to it, a small dungeon and a small second floor. Here are some layouts I made so you guys can get a better feel for what it will look like. [these are made by me and can only be used if asked for permission; thank you!] The Layouts: i. Progress As you guys can see in the layout I have written "DONE!" on a few of the rooms, as you could guess this means that those rooms are entirely "maxed" (I will define this shortly). However, as you might have also guessed these are alot of rooms that have yet to reach that point, so here's a few progression points that I will be updating as needed (for reader's convenience). Total rooms: 26/32 Rooms Maxed: 3/32 Current Construction Level: 80/99 Current Money: ~1.7M Money Spent on House: 31.7M I currently take in about 8M a week, and so at this rate it will take me about 2 months to get 99 Construction and about another 2 months (maybe a few less as my other levels increase) to max my house entirely. A few notes on my maxing of the house: Personally, I dislike the marble used in POH (the white looks ugly in my opinion), so for the most part I will not be including marble pieces (spiral stairs, fireplaces, etc.) in my house, bringing the total cost down a fraction, but making it better looking overall, in my honest opinion. Otherwise, a room is only "DONE!" or maxed once every "editable" area has the highest level item made in it, including dungeon monsters. As I find exceptions to this I will add them to here. III. How YOU can Help Normally, I am not one to request money for people, and I want to say up front I AM NOT ASKING FOR MONEY. Ok now that that is over: as I am sure you guys have noticed, this is firstly, a huge project and secondly, an exspencive one. And that is why I love it, it's a challenge, but a challenge I will love doing and completing. So how can you help? Firstly, I don't want your help if you don't want to help. I can easily complete this goal on my own, your assistance would only speed the process by which I reach this complete product. However, to those of you who do wish to help: in advance: THANK YOU - I honestly cannot portray my thanks enough. Here are the ways you can assist me if you so wonderfully choose. -donate money -donate supplies -post on here -PM to keep me from getting bored when training -just talk to me in general, I am not too dull of a guy On the donation side of things, I will take donations towards one of two things: 1) maxing rooms/the house 2) getting construction up These donations can honestly be in any form, but the most helpful would be supply (planks, etc. PM if you want specific things I'd need) or in just straight cash. Please, when you donate, specifiy which you would like the donation to go to, if you do not I will just decide myself. Again, to any donators - THANK YOU! On the other side of things, I am always up for a chat, however, my friends chat is usually on "friends" so if you want to chat me, PM on here or post on this blog and I will add and we can go from there. I am always up for a discussion on just about anything (religion, philosophy, economics, politics, etc. are all very intriguing issues/discussion topics for me)! [spoiler=Donations]Donations to Maxing Rooms: 20M gp Donations to Construction EXP: 50M gp Donators: M4wkg! Thank you so much, my friend!! IV. About Me Congratulations you suffered through this much of my blog, enjoy these last few things, just a couple points about me. Username: Accia Past Accounts: Loving Brah, Crazy Nine Age: 18 Location: Virginia, USA Hobbies: writing, debate, thinking, playing RS, playing guitar, piano, bass, or drums (or any musical instrument for that matter), watching movies, reading when I have the time, sleeping, and cooking. If you ever want to just chat or whatever, I am always up for it add me in-game or PM here. V. Conclusion and Thank You's Well that's about everything for now! I will continue updating this as needed and once this goal is complete, I will probably start on others. No thank you's to really go to anyone since I don't really have any friends on RS right now, but pre-thank you to any future donators and all those who I am sure I will eventually get to know. /endblog.
