Like I said before, it isn't just treyarch making it, They are passing the game over to IW every now and then for testing, evaluation, etc... From the looks of this interview they are really working hard to come up to par with CoD4, You guys just need to have a little faith. I believe that this will succeed and will probably be one of the best games in the franchise. It's fresh and original, I haven't seen many other games set their story in WW2 pacific. They ARE using the EXACT same engine that CoD4 was made in, so it's going to be the same basic game with different skins, weapons, AI, etc. In the interview it says that the AI is going to be one of the most advanced with enemies playing strategically compared to how you are playing. Enemys from level 1 will act different to enemies in the last level. When they fear defeat they will do almost anything to take down as many people as they can, sometimes acting in suicidal ways :D And the trailer looked [bleep]ing awesome :D (I downloaded it from xbox and watched in HD, and it looks great)

I do think Blizzard are trying to keep all their playerbase from moving to the newer more competitive mmorpgs that are on its way such as Warhammer Online, Age of Conan, and whatnot :P First they change the xp from 20-60, now cheap mounts... Fair enough it's going to attract a more casual audience but at the end of the day the high end hardcore raiders or hardcore pvpers are just going to move onto a different game once they realise that theres not much point anymore as everyone will be at the same sort of level...

By the way incase you didnt know Treyarch are working with IW to make this game. Source GamesTM Magazine, if you want a quote/picture for proof I'll be happy to provide. Also CoD5 will be using the exact same engine that CoD4 used, so it's Basically CoD4 but in WW2 and Different weapons/settings etc..
