Thinking about going to bed since I just looked at the clock and its 3am #-o

It just came out a few weeks back here in the UK and its still about £150 so I'm waiting for the price to go down a bit before I buy. The game looks awesome though, they had a demo set up in a shop window I can't wait to play it. :D

To be honest I thought all there work before american idiot was quality, Only after the American idiot album when they got really big and everyone bummed them is when they got too overrated. Not a true fan to many bands, are you? If a band becomes popular, why do people tend to say they started going downhill? Is it because people want to be away from popular bands, you want to be one of the few fans, be the outcasts? Please state your reasoning, I'd like to understand why the hell people do that. Ok maybe green day wasn't a good example, but what I'm trying to say is that every band gets overrated in some sense as when they are just that local teenage band nobody has heard of they played the gig down the pub and nobody likes them, then all of a sudden when they hit the record deal all the people that didn't like them now love them and declare themselves true fans to a band because they had heard of them before they got big. If you go to concerts to a band/artist that has numerous albums out, look how many fans are singing along to the older content rather than the newer content, that is what annoys me is when people declare to be true fans to a band ONLY when they got big. Do you realize that you just said that you liked Green Day until it got popular? I hope you realize that you sound like the stereotypical indie-rock fan. I'm not saying that Green Day didn't get worse after people started liking it, or that Green Day is even good at all, but I just wanted to point out that you probably sound like someone you don't want to sound like. :P Like I said above I still like green day whether they are big or not, but it's just overkill when a bands song gets played over and over on the radio/TV. Whether a band is overrated or not, if I think the music is good then I will like the band, I don't go along with what everyone else listens to. If someone told me to listen a no-namer band that I had never heard of and I liked the music, then I would become a fan. For example a band named little man tate that isnt very well known, ever since I saw them touring with another not-so-popular band, I've followed them and their music from their first release. By the way I am an indie rock fan :P

Hey peoples of the T&C. For my birthday (aswell as a treat for my a-level results) I should be getting a laptop, Now, I've heard rumours and stuff that some specs are complete poo and stuffs. The main one I've heard is that 3GB of ram is stupid its better to have 2 or 4? The laptop that im currently looking at is this - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/143479 And I was just wondering if its worth the money or if I could find a better deal somewhere else. Please note I don't want to build/buy a PC. The laptop will be used for Schoolwork, Internet browsing and Gaming (I understand that I will need to get a decent mouse and am currently looking at the Logitech MX518 If anyone has any information on it, it would be appreciated :) ) The games I'm hoping to be able to play are world of warcraft, call of duty, age of conan(possibly), counter strike source, warcraft 3, command and conquer 3, etc. So If anyone could shed some light it would be appreciated :)

At the moment I'd say the most overrated band is probably Pendulum, I mean yea they do have some good songs, and they do throw an amazing live performance (From what I've seen across youtube) but ever since the release of Propane Nightmares all the "fans" are saying they are the next musical revolution when they haven't even listened to the Hold Your Colour album. Or Arctic monkeys, Ever since they got big they have really annoyed me and to be honest, I much preferred their first album to the latest one. EDIT: 700th post for the second time :D

I love shan, even if his work is targetted towards a less mature audience I still manage to loose myself in a vampire/demonata book when I pick one up :D At the moment I'm currently working my way through A song of ice and fire series by George R.R. Martin. Although I don't find much time for reading anymore due to school + real life stuff :D

Saw foo fighters live on friday night at wembley stadium and it was immense. Best performance I have ever seen, only really got one good shot of Grohl Was quite a way away but still, it was awesome :D

By the sounds of that they have changed the website advertising offense to 10 black marks and spamming to 0.1 black marks. Using the fact that you had 1 offense for website advertisement and got 10 marks and I spammed + advertised which gave me 10.1 black marks o well

Rule 1 was for spamming which i got 0.3 black marks for Second one was for telling a newbie to go to tip.it for help on quests which gave me 9 black marks =/

Yes good riddance to a helpful player pointing a newbie to the right direction (Tip.it) for help. :-s EDIT: that sucks [wagon], that is THE worst reason for a ban ever. I didn't even get a reason, the last chance appeal is still pending, I'd like to see what they say about this

Sorry for the capped title, so... heres how it is. I was thinking of playing a bit of RS to check out the new skill etc, went to check my offenses BAM I'm permanently banned? What the heck? The thing that has really pissed me off is I was permanently muted with 2 offenses, now I am permanently banned with 2 offenses? No evidence given what so ever. I pretty much quit after I got muted and havent been online since. O well, back to wow i guess =/

Kinda liked the ending to CoD4 [hide] Bit sad that nearly everyone dies but i loved the epilogue mission where it shows soap is still kicking [wagon] lol [/hide] The rap about CoD and Infantry ward at the end made me laugh too :

lol, i am paying for it but its not really fair. Well it is. If you bought a pair of trainers for 65 quid, wouldn't you be a bit pissed off if they gave the same shoes to someone else for free? You are wrong, is true that f2p have some aspects of the game for free, but you only have a piece, f2p is a LOT harder than p2p, i would love to see p2p guys getting some skills to 99 in f2p haha, i bet most of them wouldn't even reach one. Who cares if its harder? It's also a lot more frustrating. I'd rather have an (almost) bot free p2p then a bot/kid/[developmentally delayed] filled f2p. Yes you get idiots on p2p but on f2p... wow...
