  1. Not only did you beat me to Comp.. you beat me to trim. ;_; Bruno plz.
  2. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Dungeoneering_master_cape Notice how it isn't called "Dungeoneering cape" it's called "Dungeoneering Master Cape". Know they the 120 capes are being called Master capes and are virtual level 120 instead of 25/50/75/100/125/150/200m in skills? It's because Dungeoneering goes to 120 and has a MASTER cape.
  3. Jagex is too scared to make heavy contrasts. Tank armor that makes you nearly unkillable and DPS armor where you die if a fly so much as lands on your shoulder. Without heavy niches there is little rhyme or reason to use one thing over another. So DPS armor will always reign superior.
  4. you use it on the item. it f\doesnt use itself
  5. Send a customer support message to Jagex. Seems they forgot about Stronghold of Security.
  6. It's in my POH.
  7. DIY as in no trading. :3 Then there isn't much point of combat other than certain drops (Automatons) is faster than gathering it yourself or cuts down on the time you'll need to gather them yourself (runes/pure ess from slayer, etc.)
  8. Are you the Hedgehog I think you are? :o
  9. Not many of these around. :)
  10. Use combat to stock up on raws like pure essence/ores/logs and use those to skill. DIY as in no trading at all - or MM9 status where you sell your outputs and might buy things like armour/weapons but train your skills by gathering the mats yourself?
  11. Sure, lemme just pull up the highscores and type in illilililil real fast... Oh I died. Nevermind, don't need to know anymore. Combat formula will never fix that. Who would stay in the wild while searching anyway. They could easiely add an highscore tab. Click play to search. I could guestimate most levels from anyone I ran into in the wildy. I knew instantly who was maxed and was going to wreck my face back when I was a level 90~ trying to train agility and I also knew instantly who was a non-threat. Now I see a level 200 and I just log instantly. Even if they're some 45hp 99 magic/99 defence account with 1 prayer. Because now I have no idea if my enemy likely has turmoil, what their melee stats are, what their HP level is, what quests they likely have done. Nothing. Zilch. No information. They can either be a huge threat or an annoying fly I can swat away myself. I don't know. About searching in the wildy: Lemme just ask them kindly to stay where they are while I leave the wilderness, search them up, decide if I want to fight them or not, and return to where they were. Ever since they introduced the spell and showed that they had the ability to show other players' levels in game I always thought we should be able to right click "inspect" players for their skills without having to use a magic spell to do so.
  12. Becomes impossible to tell for non-maxed which is the majority of where the concern lies.
  13. Training was faster without make-X. So XP/Hr was higher but it was more work. But thanks for the Jebrim & Others example in OSRS. It shows that the game didn't get any easier. The players just figured out how to play efficiently.
  14. Many, many, many hats not featured (they are in POH to save bank space, destroyed and need to be claimed from Diango) I used to collect hats but am thinking of destroying them all/dropping/selling them all for the bank space. http://a.pomf.se/odzydb.png My rules were: One of each "kind" of hat - meanining for a Partyhat I would only need one, not the entire set. This means hats must look UNIQUE. Before EOC all full/med helms were just recolors. They have since became unique but I haven't added any to my collection. My favorite hat that I own is the White Beret. My favorite hat that I want is a White Partyhat. I stopped bothering with my collection when I had failed to get any horns from SOF as it means I can never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, complete my hat collection.
  15. The game has been easy for years there was little motivation for many people to max until Max capes came about. Just like there were very, very few people with 99's in "hard & mostly useless" skills like Agility or Firemaking... that is.. until skill capes came out.
  16. Rena posted a topic in Help and Advice
What are the best monsters to block to make optimum use of using Magic for all Slayer tasks? Or would it be better XP/HR to just camp Glacors? Keep in mind I'm maxed and I don't value Slayer XP much (the extra XP from it for overall ranks is the only benefit) Thank you, Rena
  17. Find a friend who can choose boss and try to do 5:5 Trios until you get the arrows. I suggest doing 5:5 Larges but with enough diligance you can solo it. You must be inside a dungeon to customize your ring. I also wouldn't max the entire ring. Have the Melee be your secondary with Desperado maxed (quickswitch) and the "reduced damage from failing doors" as your skiller ring (default)

Am I allowed to complain about it being a bad skill? I'm a few days from 99.
  20. That doesn't fix hybridding. How would I know if he's going to bust out Magic beforehand?
  21. I've been stalking Tip.It for quite a while now and finally decided to join the community. So uh... A quick about me: I'm a completionist by nature and am just a few weeks shy of my Comp Cape (thanks to Ports mostly...) I came back to RS after a large hiatus (Mar-2012 to Jan 2014) I play as efficiently as "i can stand to play". Which normally means I'll put in huge amounts of effort so long as I don't bore myself ot death doing it . My favorite hobby back in the day was Fletching while reverse Firemaking and alching the bolts. I think that about wraps this up. :P You'll see me around other parts of the forum soon enough.
