Yup i got bones before i did the quest.

yup did notice the pattern, got bones from trolls and orges, got a fire giant task now so ill see if i get any from them.

trolls drop curved and long, haven't tried to cash em yet tho.

while you are correct in saying it is the closest furnace to a bank, i have been told by several people that you cannot right click and "smelt x", thus making it very inefficient. You don't right click to smelt x... i think he means that you don't get the bar making interface, you have to use each ore on the furnace so its rubbish. Good for making glass tho from seaweed as there is a cooker right next to it.

its not uncommon seen loads of lvl 3's planking recently.
