  1. That has to be one of the funniest films i've ever seen. I went with a big group of friends (with quite a few of them being Jewish) and we all laughed so hard it was hurting. Some bits I thought were a bit over the top (think, naked fighting scene :P ) but still had me in fits of laughter.
  2. A very happy birthday to you, have a great day :)
  3. You hard man  Setting off explosives into other people's property isn't just criminal it's stupid. What if someone got hurt? Joke over. I love fireworks when they're used properly, but not when a group of chavs fire a load of rockets at me and my friends. At the end of the day, they're explosives, and so should be treated as such.
  4. I wouldn't worry, they often stumble onto the fire in an alchopop induced drunkeness, or misfire rockets at themselves. :P
  5. I dont see why not. and using the superstring theory the 10th dimension would be Infinite, or all possibilities in all possible times in all possible places/universes, in all dimmensions (there are not infinite dimmesions, you can not go beyond infinity/all possible pleces/times/continums. Why can't you have infinite regress? Well if you want to use the laws of string theory to describe our universe, then our knowledge of the universe shows us that time itself is relative, but has must have a beginning. Basically for me the concept of infinite regress is too hard to accept, and all the evidence i've seen points towards the fact that it's impossible. There must be a termination somewhere. P.S. Superstring theory is not proven, as much as I believe in it in principle you're using an outdated version. M-theory (a unification of the five different versions of string theory) has 11 dimensions. I don't understand them fully, but basically you described the 10th dimension as all possible places, probabilites at all times etc. etc. However, this by definition is not infinity. All of the things you described are finite, and contained within that 10th dimension, so what lies outside of it?
  6. Of course I respect your principle's, but I don't see how you can argue that Saddam Hussein should have the chance to reform. It's fairly clear that he's not only an evil human being, who's only bent on power but also shows not only no resentment for his crimes but also no respect for the justice system in the first place. I suppose I think that he's got off lightly. I wouldn't mind locking him up in a small cell, and making him watch home movies of or look at pictures of every single person he killed (directly or indirectly) every single day. Maybe then he'd see the wrong of his ways, but i still doubt it.
  7. Longest song - Dazed And Confused/Walter's Walk/The Crunge [Live] - Led Zeppelin - 25 minutes 25 seconds. Shortest song - Miracle Cure - The Who - 12 seconds. Length of playlist - 4676 songs, 13.7 days long.
  8. It's about time frankly.
  9. The universe must clearly have had a beginning since we measure it in terms of time, so you must be able to rewind back to the beginning of time, you can't have infinite regress within our universe.
  10. I'm actually amazed by people who argue against stem cell research, the potential it has to save lives and end so much suffering is incredible. So yeah, i'm all for it.
  11. Apple pie with custard =P~
  12. I'm pretty excited about this new skill. It'll give a new challenge to those who've maxed out and sounds like it might be fun. I'm going to hold fire on the analysis of what the skill might be like until it's released. It might be a money drain, it might not, we don't know. Either way, could be an exciting month.
  13. I wouldn't say that was possible in shotokan karate, which is what I do. Most of the black belts have been training for much longer than 2 and 1/2 years. I think 2 and 1/2 years wouldn't give you a proper appreciation of the martial art that you were studying. As for kicking people's wagons, that's not just reserved for black belts. Those extra few kata don't make a huge difference to your free sparring abilities. I haven't been training for that long but i've still beaten black belts my age in free sparring competitions.
  14. Yeah I agree with darkmage that nearly all soft drugs are gateway drugs. I have a worrying number of friends who started with stuff like cannabis, smoking or water pipes and have gone onto to try coke and even ecstasy. No way would they have gone straight from clean to ecstasy or coke. The soft drugs were the link.
  15. Great stuff, once again Jagex have outdone themselves with these new holidays events. Good fun to do and a nice reward. Can't complain with that =D>
  16. Your brain obviously hasn't had that new imagination software patch installed in it yet :P
  17. For all the people who say smoking weed isn't that bad, I suppose I agree, but the results from a recent report are quite interesting Taken from http://www.talktofrank.com which is a great website if you're curious about drugs and their effects. A few more facts about cannabis. Most of you will probably have known at least some of this, some of you might dispute this, some of you might agree, but I hope it helps a bit.
  18. I play minigames for fun mostly, and team games are more fun, so i'd say team games.
  19. That really wouldn't be much fun. Losing items is annoying enough, but a whole character? Yowza
  20. Get 85 slayer...hah... :(
  21. All The President's Men I didn't know much about the watergate scandal before I saw this, but I still really enjoyed the way this movie went. There was nothing over the top about it, it was just a killer political plot and some good acting. Robert Redford was especially good. Pulp Fiction First time i've watched it through properly, and I loved it. Easily one of the coolest and most enjoyable films i've ever seen.
  22. A very tasty fish they are too :D Expensive though
  23. That's an interesting way of looking at it. This is actually why I believe in a god but not necessarily a religion. We must have come from somewhere or something.
