  1. Eric Clapton and JJ Cale - The Road To Escondido A really good rootsy album from two legendary guitarists. Easy listening.
  2. Smoooooth
  3. Last time I was asked for ID when I went to the cinema I was asked for it when I was buying the tickets. In the summer I went with a big group to see Miami Vice, a few of the guys looked pretty young, and although we got in the guy checking the tickets was pretty funny about it, he couldn't believe that all of us were 15, but he was cool and wouldn't refuse to let us in because we'd already bought them.
  4. Grace Funky Essence Flow Wave Flowing Exhilirating French has a lot of very nice words.
  5. why you playa hatin? 8-) jk but i think he could be a good one. but he could easily be a bad one. I think he would easily be a bad one.
  6. Oh wow that's pretty cool. It's a shame there isn't much going on at night, should be interesting in the day though.
  7. I don't watch much TV, but yeah I do care, I think for certain things HD would be amazing, like the Planet Earth series which was filmed in HD and everything. And Gran Turismo...wow.
  8. Hmm, I might be shattered tomorrow after tonight but all the great reviews it's had really make me want to see it. Can't wait now!
  9. Good lord some people have a lot of money to spend on consoles a bit earlier than everyone else.
  10. Personally, I think suicide is the cowards way out. I've been lucky enough never to have been so badly depressed or unhappy that i've even considered it, but I have seen the effects of it on a personal scale. The amount of hurt, confusion and damage it can cause to a family or the people who knew the person is horrific. You may be finally solving your problems but the sheer thought of the people I would leave behind would put me off it forever. My parents have given and are still giving me so much love, support and care that the thought of me deliberately taking away all that from them actually makes me shiver. Despite the usual teenage type problems, i've still got great friends, a great family, a great school and an amazing life. But I suppose i'm just lucky. Even when life really gets tough, in my eyes there's always a way out and something more to live for.
  11. And this year about 4000 city traders are being payed ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1m+ plus bonuses. Trust me, to some people it's pocket change for being able to drive their own car daily.
  12. Sorry, but in my eyes half of your list aren't really what i'd call classic rock. I'll add Pink Floyd to my list, I didn't really consider it "classic rock" at first but they are by far one of my favourite bands.
  13. I'll give money to any busker. I'll buy the Big Issue but won't give money directly to homeless people because you simply don't know what they're going to do with it.
  14. Oh the irony... We're not assuming anything. You have bad results, a bad attitude, you're bum lazy and have total resilience to take any advice whatsoever even from your peers. So yeah, in conclusion, you are an idiot, wake up and smell the real world. Because your bohemian attitude won't get you anywhere.
  15. I don't live in London but i've been there a lot, and i've travelled on public transport, trains buses and tubes at rush hour and it's not a pretty site. In fact it's horrible, crowded, smelly, dirty. Cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. If i was one of the rich city types who probably own the 4x4s then i'd probably pay the ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã25 a day. Or get my company to pay it, (which a lot of them do) or simply come in very early in the morning before the congestion charge starts (which a lot of them do). My point? It won't dent the wallets of the people who drive the Chelsea tractors. That said, I go to an independant school where there are a lot of rich peroxide blonde with orange tan or fat middle aged balding 4x4 drivers. I don't like to stereotype, but they're nearly all arrogant, they think they can park wherever they want, they think that stopping at pedestrian crossings is optional and just generally cause half the congestion at my school everyday. So yeah, if those things were charged at my school i'd love it.
  16. Sam, not having good grades isn't a problem, I know lots of people who've gotten through and done very well in life even though they struggled at school. But it seems like you're attitude is just lazy, which is fine if you've got a family business that you can go into and paid to sit around and not do much, but in the real world, that's the wrong attitude mate. Have a good time, enjoy life, but work as well. I'm in the UK so we don't really get grade averages, but i'm predicted 10 A*'s for GCSE and got an A* in French a year early. Just got to live up to those grades now
  17. The Who, Boston, Cream, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith.
  18. Scooter - Weekend! Bruce [bleep]inson - Tatooed Millionaire Sex Pistols - No Feelings
  19. Ditto, and i think the novelty of having party hats and all the barrows armour would soon wear off. It's the sense of achievement that keeps me going, not the money.
  20. Open ended gameplay, the fact that it's hard to "beat", the social interaction, there's lots to do, and it's reasonably addictive.

I like some of the ideas, but I think I prefer the iPod interface and size and useage. Plus 30gb isn't enough for me. I've filled my 20gb iPod but i think i'll wait until/if the new iPods are released. Yeah, I suppose i'm an iPod fanboy.
  22. Hmm, I don't know if i'd want to be that immersed in any film or tv or game. Might be cool for certain things though.
