  1. I'm still waiting for the spots to become less crowded. I'm in no rush to train it, i've got other stuff to do.

Have you seen the Top Gear video where they try to destroy one of those? And fail miserably :P I can't drive til next year but i'll probably just get an old Renault Clio or Vauxhall Corsa or whatever's cheapest. Just a set of wheels would be awesome
  3. I believe that we can't choose the people we fall in love with. Although it may be a reflection of what we personally like in a person, I think that if you really love them you love them not because they're the best looking girl, or the funniest, or the nicest, but just because there's something about them that leaves you absolutely awestruck. You'd do anything for that person, because she means more to you than anything else in the world. You would fight for her, cry for her, laugh for her, die for her, do anything to make her happy and give everything just to see her smile. It's not always about just wanting to be with her as well. As much as you may want to, if you really love someone, sometimes you have to realise that they'd be happier with someone else. And that hurts, a lot. Trust me. Is passionate true love essential for happiness? I don't think so. I think you can be perfectly happy (sometimes happier) when you're just enjoying life with friends and family. If you can find true love, that's awesome, but don't let the lack of it get you down.

Yeah i'm steadily getting into texas hold'em on the Casino Royal website. It's fairly easy to get started with. I'd only use fake money online though, i'd prefer to be able to read people's faces before using real money.
  5. They'll probably make one or two movies after Johny Depp leaves. Because he's the sole reason the movies are so popular. Apparently he loves making them so much though, that he'd always be a staple cast member. I think as long as he's in them and his part doesn't change they'll be worth seeing.

Anything by Tom Clancy, or Bill Bryson are good. Philip Pullman's Dark Materials were fantastic, or Garth Nix's Sabriel series. I've found it hard finding the time to read a lot recently, but i'm getting back into it.
  7. Very nice guide. Inspired me to go kill the beast, I want to try a new boss.
  8. The shark shouldn't be killed. It's not like it's totally unusual behaviour for them, we enter their territory under their conditions and we have to respect their dominance. Killing it serves no purpose except further driving them towards extinction purely for revenge.
  9. I hate them. The delays, the queues, the security, the hoardes of unruly children running riot. Food's normally rubbish, nowhere to sit, the only entertainment is looking at the books which won't fit in my suitcase. I love going on holiday, but I prefer it when I get there.
  10. You really think in an organisation that employs thousands of people they'd all be corrupt like that? And what makes you think they all want the Iraq war as well? Government organisations leak, that's a fact. No way would they stay clean this long if they're up to that kind of thing. Why would they want to gain public support for Iraq either? They're intelligence not the oil companies.
  11. I don't care how overdone these films become, because I love them. Johnny Depp is absolutely fantastic, I can't get enough of watching him in his role, and they're just good fun films.
  12. Do you realise how annoying your typing in yellow actually is? They hurt my eyes
  13. I totally agree. There's nothing bad about public/private schools being kept if you're lucky enough to go to one. But yeah, state schools should be made better, that's a given. All I was saying is that you don't have to have a brilliant education to succeed in life. Of course everyone should be entitled to a brilliant education, but the fact that they don't have one shouldn't mean that they become defeatist and think that they can never achieve anything.
  14. Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori? :-s What does that mean exactly? It looks like it's in the imperative form, "lead and die something something for the fatherland"? I know I've heard it before, I can't remember what it means >_<. Is it "It is beautiful to lead and die for the fatherland"? >_<. It means "it is sweet and fitting to die for one's country." It's taken from a poem of the same name by Wilfred Own. Ironically, the poem sets out to disprove this notion, and I agree with Owen. Try telling the millions of men (barely) who were needlessly slain in the first world war that it was sweet and fitting to die for a country that couldn't swallow it's pride. Personally, i'd rather go peacefully and happily surrounded by family and friends.
  15. Go back to the birth of Jesus and follow him around to see if it's all true or not.
  16. God I couldn't do that, training one skill solidly almost non stop just breaking for sleep. So hats off to him/her for what she's achieved, but was it really worth it?
  17. Eh...nah. I have a good, busy life. I don't let a game interfere with that.

Really? I'd heard anything more than once a day was excessive but surely washing hair daily is just common hygeine? I'm not a huge fan of dreadlocks, you need to be pretty cool to pull them off, and even then they look pretty messy. Black guys can pull them off easily though.
  19. Minnie The Moocher - Cab Calloway "Hi de hi de hi de hii" :P
  20. Funny, I don't remember any of that from the book. Looks good either way though.
  21. Ahh...haha...ha...forget it, too easy. :P
  22. Dont know if ive cried, but that scene gets me every time  That would be it for me as well.
  23. That's a really clever movie. I just wish MTV would have the courage to show it even though it's slightly controversial. "Nobody rebels anymore"
  24. The supernatural, things that make normally perfectly rational people believe in highly improbable things simply because of psychology, superstition and human curiosity.
  25. Oh yeah i forgot him, he really makes me laugh. And Victoria Wood, she's fantastic.
