  1. "asasin wut msk is tht?" "asssssasssssin wut slyer lvl do u hav 2 be 2 kil thos?" What's so user-unfriendly about the manual? "press 123 if u lik cheese lolz" and then a dozen low levelled people press 123, to much "lol"ing. In fact most people who use bad grammar and spelling.
  2. I used to have a black labrador called Polly, absolutely adorably loyal thing. But she got to the grand old age of 15 and we had to put her down because she was nearly blind and in a lot of pain. This is her when she was a puppy. My sister and brother in law now have another black labrador, very excitable and good fun.
  3. Wow, I wasn't around for any of this. Scapeboard is a complete myth to me, I hear it now and again but it's all very mysterious.
  4. They change periodically to stop lower levelled players slowing down the games. The best groups normally require 100+ combat for membership. When you get to 95 combat try Affliction
  5. Once you get higher defenders they start to drop much more often. Just stick at it and you'll get rune soon enough.
  6. I remember PDJ did some serious testing, but that was before they changed it to become better than the rune axe. At the time he concluded it was the same as rune axe, but like I said this was before the change.
  7. As Anesthesia said, here in the UK you can take your test without any lessons and still pass. My cousin never had any lessons, he was just taught by his dad and practiced clutch control by moving cars about in the drive for years. I go with my dad to an old airstrip where you can drive up and down and practice all sorts. So i'm hoping i'll only need 6 or 8 lessons before I can take my test. EDIT: Snap I didn't notice the date when it was posted
  8. I hate that program normally, the auditions are a freak show and the eventual winners tend to sound like every other generic "has a voice but nothing special" popstar nowadays, and are forgotten quickly. But my sister was watching it last night and I was in the background, and wow, Leona really does have a voice. She clearly deserved to win, I don't know how far she'll get but that girl really does have a special voice. I just hope her single really tests her voice like those two songs did, it's when she performs at her best.
  9. Lady Stardust - David Bowie
  10. I think the ultimate argument is one where somebody actually concedes their point of view and accepts that they were wrong. It takes a strong character to be able to convincingly do that.
  11. Bring back ballroom dancing I say. *doffs hat* :-w
  12. Any alkali metal (especially the ones lower down the table) with water.
  13. Happy hanukkah to anyone celebrating it. :)
  14. I'd like to do a physics degree at uni with a view to going into big finance afterwards. Probably something like investment banking or fund management. But i've got 2 weeks work experience at a very large firm of accountants in the summer so we'll see how I like it after that. I always used to want to be a marine biologist though, and on some levels, still do if I knew it wasn't all diving off boats in exotic locations.
  15. Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison. Always puts a smile on my face :)
  16. Pink Floyd - Coming Back to Life Where were you when I was burned and broken? While the days slipped by from my window watching Where were you when I was hurt and I was helpless? Because the things you say and the things you do surround me While you were hanging yourself on someone elses words Dying to believe in what you heard I was staring straight into the shining sun Lost in thought and lost in time While the seeds of live and the seeds of change were planted Outside the rain fell dark and slow While I pondered on this dangerous but I took a heavenly ride through one silence I knew the moment had arrived For killing the past and coming back to life I took a heavenly ride trough our silence I knew the waiting had begin And headed straight... into the shining sun Very special to me, for reasons that I won't go into, but I love this song.
  17. Excluding local bands, The Who. Wow :D
  18. What you described sounds like general good manners. Respect to me is summed up in the phrase, "I may not like you, but I still respect you"
  19. R.I.P. I thought he was great in Everybody Loves Raymond, sad to see him go. :(
  20. I'd say Christmas. I love the build up to it, all the festive stuff and families getting together to eat the king of all roast meals. And you still have boxing day and new year's to look forward to as well, so Christmas is a great time of the year.
  21. Lemon Jelly
  22. Personally, I believe he'll come back. J.K. Rowling is a very clever author, she inserts lots of little twists and clues into her books. Obviously she likes the shock factor of "wow I didn't see that coming" in her books as well. In my eyes, the bigger shock would be Dumbledore coming back to life in some way now that she's made those statements. We'll see.
  23. I don't have a problem with the bill, but quite why a blind man would want to hunt is beyond me. I mean the guide could tell him he hit it and he wouldn't know any better.
  24. Very nice, I remember just focusing the sun with a concave lens hurt the skin a fair bit, that thing must generate a fair amount of heat 8-)
  25. Oh I do remember this one drink I had, some stupidly strong alcoholic cocktail I had. It was called something like Rocket Fuel, and good lord it tasted like it too. My throat was burning for days.
