  1. I went through that stage of being a bit nervous, especially foreign language speaking exams. But with presentations now i'm fine, it doesn't phase me.
  2. Is it stupid? Yeah, probably, but that doesn't stop it being a laugh now and again. You just gotta do what you feel like though.
  3. I was once to hold my arms above my head and run around in circles on the spot. The effect being I became so dizzy I fell over, hit my head, and suddenly the hiccups weren't the problem! :
  4. Good question there... I really wanna hear an answer for this. Because you don't want false accusations of who've killed etc. Also there's likely to be less discussion in the graveyard about the person in general.
  5. Already a topic for this which can be found here here. Locked.
  6. Best of luck to you matey, if anyone can do it, it's you.
  7. A diet coke on ice beats those summer heat blues :) Don't know why I prefer diet, I just think it has a sharper taste. Summer heat blues? Is that an oxymoron?
  8. Any takers for Brown Eyed Girl? I don't mind if they're contact lens'

I'll do a quick scan through a playlist I made for a party and suggest anything that I think would be good. I don't know what kind of music you're looking for so i'll put down anything that I think makes good, uplifting fun background music. This might not necessarily be music to rave or dance to, just stuff you might hear at a party. Breakfast At Tiffany's - by Deep Blue Something Bad Moon Rising - Creedence Clearwater Revival The Boys Of Summer - Don Henley American Pie - Don McLean Lady Madonna - The Beatles Two Tickets To Paradise - Eddie Money Love the One You're With - Crosby, Stills & Nash Music To Watch Girls By - Andy Williams Walk of Life - Dire Straits Delta Lady - Joe Cocker Walkin In Memphis - Marc Cohn Night Fever - The Bee Gees I'm a Believer - Neil Diamond Hey Jude - The Beatles You Can Call Me Al - Paul Simon Born Slippy - Underworld Dance The Night Away - The Mavericks Billie Jean - Michael Jackson (Don't Fear) The Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult Clocks - Coldplay I Wish - Stevie Wonder Just a few quick ideas. Sorry if they seem a bit old, it was for a party with all sorts of ages so I didn't want anything too heavy.
  10. Spam killed 2pac, just like this thread. Locked Disclaimer: It didn't kill him
  11. I agree. I got 3 contradictions on that test and none of them were actually real contradictions, simply misunderstandings by the site. I think a simple "agree" and "disagree" option isn't enough to really understand your thoughts and so make an assumption of a contradiction. Based on those contradictions, I got 33%.
  12. Argh time warp :uhh: Locking, bizarre question answered :P
  13. Like 2pac, this topic isn't going anywhere. Just repetitions of "he's dead". And it's been done before. Locked
  14. About 9, with a couple of d-stones I might ask some kind soul to make into glories for me. :)
  15. According to a friend, maples are very fast exp, or yews.
  16. Don't believe in the things, rarely kept and often over ambitious. I'll happy, so i'll just carry on as usual.
  17. Grand Theft Auto, with the Gran Turismo series is probably the greatest game series I have ever played. It never takes itself too seriously (far from it), the storylines are clever, almost believable, fun and entertaining. The depth in the games is phenomenal, the attention to detail superb and the game play incredibly fun, which is what you want. So what if the graphics aren't top notch? You don't notice when you're having that much fun. Never played GTAIII all the way through but it was good, Vice City was very cool, and San Andreas was simply awesome (but just not as quintessentially cool as Vice City). GTA San Andreas is probably the only game I go back to on the PS2, apart from maybe Gran Turismo with friends.
  18. I'd like to... Swim with dolphins Scuba dive off the Great Barrier Reef Cage dive with sharks Skydive Gamble in Vegas Travel 90 knots in a boat See The Who live (done!) Go to the Glastonbury Festival Own a very fast car Travel the world Find true love Raise a happy family In that order?
  19. Fairytale of New York - The Pogues and Kirsty Mcall Driving Home For Christmas - Chris Rea
  20. You must be the first girl i've ever met who wants to gain weight. Congratulations. :P Do it healthily. Don't eat chocolate and cakes and other very sugary foods to excess. Snack often, but with things like fruit and nuts. Don't overdo the sugars and fats, even if you don't gain weight with those they won't do your heart or arteries any good. And trust me, don't worry about your weight too much. As long as you're not anorexic, physically you're fine (and even then you're okay). And with my mod hat on, please don't type all your posts in anything but the default colour.
  21. Blue Guitars by Chris Rea, an 11 cd history and anthology of all different types of the blues. :)
  22. Ah man that sounds tasty, i'd love to see a pic Oh yeah, and Resevoir Dogs 8-) Since I can't find the digital camera (doh) you'll just have to imagine a Les Paul in a slightly darker version of this colour.
  23. I got a beautiful new dark blue/green Epiphone Les Paul. Lots of dvd's (Peter Kay, Ricky Gervais stand up, Pirates of the 'bean 2, Resevoir Dogs, Sands of Iwo Jima, and a Jeremy Clarkson dvd) A few cd's, including Blue Guitars which is a thing of beauty. Some clothes and a set of poker chips! So a good haul this year all in all :D Yeah, that's the Christmas spirit all right.
  24. Oh damn, what a legend. :( R.I.P.
  25. I live in the UK and I've been all over Europe and to quite a few places in America (New York, Los Angeles, San Diego, Arizona, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon). I speak English as my first language, and quite a bit of French and German.
