  1. Rush are the ultimate band, they do what Dream Theater fail at doing, Rush pull off complex musical passages, odd time signatures and tasteful singing flawlessly and make it actually sound good whereas as Dream Theater mess it up. I'm just amazed i've never come across them before, I love it when this happens with discovering music
  2. Is it a laptop or a computer? Because I had a big problem a while ago with my old laptop where it would overheat and restart a lot. Check your fan filters, see if they've been clogged up.

All the reviews i've read about it have made a big fuss about the violence. I think it sounds good though.
  4. A little more recent and purist, but I think Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean just is one of the greatest acting roles of recent films. It really is brilliant, and like you say, you miss him when he's off screen in those films. Clint Eastwood in any Spaghetti Western he's been in. Just quintessentially tough and cool. Iconic. Michael Clarke Duncan in the Green Mile. Just so powerful and moving, he is John Coffey to me. Brando in The Godfather, again, iconic.
  5. Money For Nothing - Dire Straits
  6. Unhealthy is one thing, but hard drugs are often highly addictive and can lead to people turning to crime to fuel their habits. That's the danger in my opinion. What may start off as a pastime at home that doesn't harm others could potentially lead to something that drives crime and does harm others.
  7. Perhaps because it costs billions for the waste and health services. <_< I'm fine with laws that should not allow people to smoke in like restaraunts and etc, but if you are at your home, or whatever by yourself it should be your choice. So by your logic should people be allowed to do much harder drugs in the safety of their own home? Because where they're doing it is pretty irrelevant, they're still messing up their bodies.
  8. Just get a job yer lazy bum :P They're not all that bad.
  9. ^^ What is this prayor skill that you speak of? I'd say mining.
  10. Rush, Live In Rio It's funny, i've never really come across Rush before but i've been getting into them recently and they're great. :)
  11. Please don't double post when your old post on the same subject is on the same page.
  12. It may seem a bit extreme, but it really is sodding annoying when you get hit by one of the things. The policy will be so strict so as to completely eradicate rubber band flicking, zero tolerance. Probably for the best really.
  13. Favourite sport, toughie, probably rugby union or tennis. I admire Martin Johnson in rugby and Jonah Lomu. Tennis wise I have to admire Federer, but I definitely love to watch Rod[bleep] as a player, very exciting. I also cycle a lot and sail. Cycling wise, Eddie Merckx, Lance Armstrong and Miguel Indurain would be my all time greats. But I like Floyd Landis and Ivan Basso as well. Sailing, Ben Ainslie is a fantastic dinghy sailor, but Ellen MacArthur would have to be the ultimate yachtsperson in my opinion, but Alex Tompson is a pretty good yachtsman as well.
  14. I've cleaned this thread of all the inappropriate discussions about condoms and their various uses. Rushrock, keep it clean. Haha, oh the irony. :P
  15. Oh i'd rather not go at all
  16. Pfft sounds too much like hard work to me right now, i'll stick to revision ta :P
  17. Happy new year, still got quite a few hours to go here yet though. Just spending the time with some family and friends this year, nothing big.
  18. Your first little incident/crash/collision in a car always shakes you up a bit, especially when it could have been more serious. My sister over the years has had loadsa bumps, none particularly serious except the one time she rolled her car twice down an icy motorway and ended up on the hard shoulder on her roof. Stuff like that really shakes you up.
  19. Yeah I remember you and your attitude. You seemed pretty cool to me back then :P
  20. I think Chelsea are a bit ridiculous. I don't particularly dislike them or hate them, but when I went to see them play Middlesborough a few years ago they had about 50m worth of players on the bench. But I suppose that's what football's about nowadays, which is why I don't follow it or play it anymore.
  21. I love that song, i'll be sure to check out their album when it comes out, very interesting.
  22. Average :P Nice level picture, what level are hedgehogs nowadays?
  23. 2/10, can't say i've seen you around before.
  24. Naw... Egotistical threads ftw
  25. Aberrant specters, if you have the slayer level.
