Concepts in physics seem to come pretty easily to me, as well as hand eye coordination sports.
  2. May as well move this to the Off-Topic forums. Parabola is by the way, absolutely correct with regards to the law in the UK. Oh yes, that lovely gentleman who set up all sort of traps for those burglars. No, no, no and no. Any judge with at least an ounce of common sense (and trust me, they do) would throw that kind of case out straight away. Lots of cases where sexual deviants are named then a mob goes round to their house and assaults, harasses or even murders them. Justice? Not really, particularly when they get the wrong person. Which is the danger, and happens a lot.
  3. Experiment with all sorts of different things. Look in a cookbook or something for an idea or inspiration, but tweak it to what you like.
  4. Nothing, if you're obsessed with anything it's unhealthy. If we took that attitude then hardly any of the great achievements of mankind would have been achieved. Nad, I think your idea is great. Someone once told me, find something that you really enjoy doing, then get people to pay you good money for doing it. Then you'll never have to work a day in your life. If that's what you want to do then go for it! I don't feel threatened by gamer girls at all, in fact I think they're pretty cool. It's nice to see a bit of balance in what seems like a male dominated world.
  5. That my friend is not pointless, and a rather good idea. I want one :D

Heh, I love how BlueLancer always credits the CIA as his source. Shady :P
  7. Okay now we're talking =P~ My recipe was one of those wonderful ones conjured up from the remnants of whatever you could find in the fridge when mum was out one day :P

I believe in highly improbable and sometimes slightly absurd things happening. But talking about the dead interacting in this world almost as if it's a statement of fact isn't possible. As merc said, nearly always there's a scientific explanation behind it, and if there isn't something that we can define behind it that doesn't mean it won't someday be definable.

I think you need to look at it in terms of proportions. Of course china will have a bigger military - they have over four times as many people as the US does. An an army that's roughly four times as large.
  10. No need to bump threads. Removed the bump, don't do it again. Cheers.
  11. RS2 product I guess, started in August of...2004. I remember because I saw the game on miniclip looking for olympic style games to play, so even worse i'm a minicliper product :P

Not militaristic? *snort* They have the largest standing army in the world. Anyone else here thinking about Tom Clancy's The Bear & The Dragon? China is big and getting bigger.
  13. Get some precooked potatoes and saute them in a frying pan. Slice up some bacon into strips and throw that in. Then add an egg or two when it's starting to cook well and mix that in. Add some rocket leaves on top and plenty of seasoning. Delicious.
  14. Marxism does not necessarily enslave. Look at the government owned industries like NASA, the Navy and the postal service. Those are technically socialist, and they don't "enslave". And a previous post was right, communism would remove terrorism, in a way. You misquoted me there, I didn't say that :P
  15. Absolute legend. He stood up for what he believed in with unswerving loyalty yet pacifism at the same time. A truly inspirational man.
  16. Nope, no matter what government we are under, its human nature to cause problems and be violent, the only real way to get rid of it is to get rid of all humans. And the sad thing is, I'm not joking. Not really. There have been plenty of brutal regimes in the past that have suppressed violence and terrorism. On the flip side if the globe was true worldwide communism, again there would be no need for terrorism, and there wouldn't be any extremist views in the first place.
  17. Classical guitar for about 10 years, electric for about 3. I've taught myself on the electric but it's not too hard if you've been taught some form of guitar. I've stopped having lessons on the classical now though, ironically I practice more though now.
  18. Achieve world peace huh? Hah, well if everyone conformed to true communism... That's probably the only way around it, in a society as liberal as ours that encourages all religions and races you'll always get people taking the differences to extremes.
  19. If he has the talent to be able to paid that kind of money a year then good on him and good luck to him. I agree that footballers are paid a ridiculous amount of money but you can't hold that against him.
  20. Pfft I don't like soccer anymore and i'm english. Used to love it though, but just lost interest really.

Would you care offering a little more explanation as to what the...? :?
  22. I think that's kind of odd. People claim that a relationship where you "find" your own love lasts longer because it is based on a foundation of free will, etc. But in reality, it's visa versa. Although happiness is not included in this. True, and the marriage's longevity might only be down to religious beliefs or cultural values.
