85 slayer or 91 runecraft?
Plus, when you're making money with rc you're also training the skill. Unless you get an abby demon task for slayer you're not getting slayer exp whilst making money.
-
if you could have one skill at 99 what would it be?
I'd say rc, but i'd only really need 91 to make it effective, and i'd use it a lot to make money for other levels, so it might be wasted exp. So possibly prayer, but then again, rc would be very handy, so i'd say that.

Dream Theory
Naw...really? Funny you should mention dreams, I had a great one last night. Involved owning a cool rocket space shuttle type thing and living in a ridiculously big and cool house. :) Kinda gutted when I woke up though. Peter, I remember having a few lucid dreams as well. They are pretty rare, and normally I only become aware that i'm dreaming towards the end of the dream, which is a shame.

My Problems, I need advice
Shin, grow up. You've been warned about this before, you know what'll happen. As for your problems, i'm sorry to hear about it, it doesn't sound like an easy situation to be in at all. My only suggestion would maybe be to appease your mother for a while. As hard as it is, concede every possible argument with her, just be neutral and placid and see how she is then.

Are you QI? Or are you GI?

Quite why Jagex can't just provide an easy link to get onto world 2 even when it's full is beyond me. I don't see why refreshing a page for 20 minutes should be part of a game.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Resevoir Dogs This film has been hyped up a lot, but luckily it easily lives up to the hype. Very good film, Tarantino really is a world class director, and some great acting and dialogue.

Saddam Hussein's Execution and Trial - discuss
 So your assuming that they enjoy watching him die? You dont think that they rather enjoy seeing justice being served? You can believe that everyone who watched the video on this forum is a sadistic psycho if you want, but im just saying... :-w No i'm not saying that at all. I don't have a problem with people who watched it and enjoyed seeing justice served, i'm sure i'd feel a similar way. I have a problem with people who enjoyed it purely for the sake of seeing someone die in the real world.

Pool Table or Ping Pong Table?
We have a ping pong table which is great fun, anyone can play and have a laugh. Pool's good as well. I'd probably go for pool personally though.

Saddam Hussein's Execution and Trial - discuss
So you think it's a conspiracy? You think all the world's governments intelligence's services who are paid to watch and analyse this kind of thing are against us? The simple fact us they could fake it towards us, we're just teenagers living thousands of miles away from the reality of it out there, so to say you had to watch it to believe it is a little naive. Personally, I didn't watch the film, and i'm with Grim. I think anyone who watched it and enjoyed seeing the death of another person is a little sadistic. The only people I could see having some justification for enjoying seeing him hang are the victims of his crimes.

Saddam Hussein's Execution and Trial - discuss
The difference is though, we (or the justice system) hadn't committed crimes like he did. It's not like we're on the same playing field. Yes, killing is wrong, and by taking the life of a mass murderer we are reinforcing that to the highest. Hey are you forgetting something? In our quest for justice over 40,000 innocent Iraqi's have died. I know we are talking about Saddam here however I think it's quite debatable that we "haven't commited any crimes" ourselves. Probably more than 100,000 now, but here your equating the American war machine to the court system, and lumping them all into the same "everyone who isn't Saddam" pot. We can't do that, the justification for the war and the resulting loss of life is irrelevant, Saddam needed to be brought to justice. Also let's not forget that Saddam deliberately murdered all these people. The coalition forces did not invade Iraq with the intention of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis dying. That's called the doctrine of double effect.

Saddam Hussein's Execution and Trial - discuss
I think though the message is more along the lines of "taking the life of an innocent human being is wrong" I know that's not how it's presented but it's how I think it could be interpreted. How you define who is and who isn't innocent is what's left to the justice system. Of course that doesn't mean that all people who have committed a crime lost their right to life, but Saddam Hussein had deliberately taken away so many people's rights to life that I see no reason why his should be respected. Why should we honour his wishes? Shouldn't he be made to stand trial for his crimes and accept the consequences of his actions instead of being given the easiest way out for him?

Saddam Hussein's Execution and Trial - discuss
NOTE: The last thread on this topic was locked because of immaturity and the somewhat disturbing attitude that some users had towards the subject. If this thread goes the same way it will be locked as well and this will be the last topic about it. I and other mods will do our best to keep this flame and spam free, as well as free of the comments that caused the other to get locked. I wanted to do this because I think we can talk about this maturely and in a reasonable fashion. I also believe this is something we should talk about, not shy away from. If you want to take a cheap shot at Saddam or make a crude joke or inappropriate comment or find a link to any videos relating to his hanging, do it elsewhere. Back on topic: My views have changed somewhat after considering it. Although I believe that death was probably the right form of justice for Saddam (and I have no pity for him whatsoever), I do believe that the trial process was rushed simply to appease the victims. I think he should have stood trial for every single crime he committed, and all the victims should have had the chance to present their case and evidence. I think it's easy to question the morality and ethics of the death penalty from a detached point of view (i've done it many times myself), but when you consider the horror, and sheer wickedness of the man death does not seem like a cruel option. In the grand scheme of things, it might not achieve much for us as a society, but where is Saddam's right to life? How can you defend the life of a man who committed such atrocities?
