At that price? Hah. No. Want, sadly, is different from actual ability to purchase :P Yeah at that price it's got no chance for me.

    Dammit, I want one. :(
  3. As opposed to those pesky Arctic Monkeys, stealing everyone's frozen bananas. :P
  4. I don't love it, but it's a very clever intro, yeah it's quite nice. :)
  5. Just another excuse to hike up the prices of roses and chocolates. Spending it "unattached" is much easier in my opinion :P
  6. Crikey, ouch, that's gotta hurt.
  7. I've been listening to Run a lot by them. I don't know why, it just came up on shuffle and the lyrics just really hit me hard, means a lot to me. They're a great band actually, I was intially skeptical but they're very easy to listen to and yet emotionally engaging at the same time.
  8. Damn fine song. I think I almost prefer the live version now though, which is saying a lot. (What's the Story) Morning Glory? - Oasis, great album
  9. I don't know anymore, I thought I used to. No. BlueLancer wasn't being an intellectual snob. I think he was more referring to the maturity of the users which shows in their posts as opposed to breadth of knowledge. If you're curious...
  10. Who's effort are you referring to? The guy who made this thread's, and all the other type of threads or notices or bulletins or e-mails all over the internet advertising the site. I appreciate it's hardly any time relatively, but i'd rather this kind of generosity and effort was put into "genuine" charities.
  11. Taking advantage of people's charity is nothing new, but I suppose with the internet it's now easier than ever.
  12. My problem isn't with the time factor, it's that by clicking that link and encouraging many others to do so you're lining the pockets of a CEO in a higher ratio than the money going to charity. Would not the effort of advertisement be better spent simply on proper charitable organisations that are pretty much pure charity. But then is lining that executive's pockets okay because some money is going to charity? :-k
  13. Aren't you gonna lock this one? :| Don't take it so personally.
  14. You're right, but he would of probably progressed as a guitarist much faster if he'd had some. I had lessons on the classical for a while, then began teaching myself the electric, which is similar in principle, but in practice I could probably do with a couple of lessons just to sort out a few things. Without being harsh, let's face it, Hendrix might not have had lessons but is this guy who's "ambitions change a lot" going to be the next Hendrix? If you're serious, get yourself some lessons, and see how it goes. Don't count on the fact that you'll be able to teach yourself like other greats. And practice, practice, practice, practice...
  15. El Dorado It's a John Wayne western. If I had to take one film to desert island, this would probably it.
  16. Guys ease off the insults and/or retaliations. No need to get worked up over this kind of thing, chill.
  17. Had a better idea and merged the two topics. :)
  18. This is why stickies were made. Use them.
  19. I've split off the last few spammy pages. Please don't nest so many quotes, they get ridiculous.
  20. Isn't this what deloria is here for? Anyway, this could be mildy interesting, so as long as there's nothing to do with relationship problems (see sticky) i'll let it ride.
