  1. Read through this guide. To answer your question in short, yes. You can use melee at the dag kings as part of a team of mages and rangers, but melee guys tend to take the biggest pummelling.
  2. Despite what the other people have said, you can no pray dharok and verac. Verac is no trouble if you keep your health up. Dharok is more fun, so you need to use good food and never let your health drop below 60 at the least, try and keep it near to full and he won't ever one hit you. Would I have the balls to do it? Probably not. It's your choice, I wouldn't recommend it every run, but it's certainly possible.
  3. Not buying a santa when they were 200k and I could afford them, because they were "useless" #-o
  4. How fast are these things to obtain through hunter. I.e. is it worth training hunter to get them with the intention of getting plenty of range exp at pest control?
  5. Not a bad event really, should have done it yesterday though when there were more people around. Nice reward, I thought they'd give us some kind of xmas decorations for our houses this year, just slightly surprised they didn't make more of it. I just wish they'd let that cave become some kind of a snowball fighting arena. That would be awesome.

  7. In other words, change the story to gain converts. Let the hindus worship their own gods, just make it so that they believe Brahma was actually created by Jesus and the Holy Spirit and coincidentally place his 'birthday' on December 20-25th. That's why i'd always understood Christmas was held on the 25th. I don't have a problem with atheists celebrating "Christmas" by getting together with their families, having a nice meal and giving presents. What I have a slight problem with is people who never go to church during the rest of the year, but suddenly pretend they're Christian around Christmas time so they can get involved with all the church services and carols etc. Either way, it's very easy to be cynical about the commercialism of Christmas, but i'm afraid it's a result of the free capitalist society that we live in. Heck, I even quite like it, it's all good fun, and since i'm not religious I don't get offended by it.
  8. The whole point of this guide though is that it's not in the wildy, so much less risky. :)
  9. How about the whole cast of both "Pirates" movies while you're at it? :P Gosh yes

Very nice, I love this simplicity of the white, yet the very complex abstract centre. Nice colour scheme as well. I can't decide which I prefer actually, with border or without.
  11. Looking very nice so far. It's only a minor detail, but personally I think a slightly warmer glow coming from the cabin's windows would make it look even cosier and wintery. Othewise, great work and can't wait to see the finished thing. :)
  12. I used to be a Stratocaster man (not the Fender's though mind you, far too expensive for what they are, you can get better Japanese Strats for the money) but I recently tried out a beautiful Epiphone Les Paul with a dark green/blue metallic finish which i'm hoping to get for Christmas. It plays like a dream. :) I use a Roland Cube 30 watt amp at home for practice, which plenty enough. It has lots of effects pedals actually built into it and too many settings for me to know how to use. :P
  13. As dusqi said, I like giving when I've got something special for whoever it is. However I don't like feeling obliged to buy things for people just because it's that time of the year, and I don't like people feeling obliged to buy things for me. So once i've gone through the list of what I want i'll just tell people to donate something to charity on my behalf. But I won't pretend I don't love receiving something I want.
  14. I don't think that you need faith to live and survive. But faith in something that we can't necessarily prove (like God) often comes to us in times of difficulty and need. There's no doubt that having faith when times get rough is useful, and yes a virtue. However, having faith when times are good to me is more of a bonus, not needed, but nice all the same. But in all cases faith should be something that you come round to and have of your own self reasoning, not because it's been drilled into you. I think it's good to question and not blindly accept what we are shown up to a point. However if we were skeptical about absolutely everything I think life would lose whatever little magic it still holds. When you were a child, if you didn't accept Santa Clause and wanted incontrovertible proof for his existence and every single child did that, I think Christmas would lose a lot of it's magic. I know it's a fairly insignificant example in the big scheme of humanity, but in terms of simple happiness I think having faith in things like that is very important. Of course when we do get older we start to question our faith in jolly old Saint Nick, but if i'm honest, I wish on some level that I still had the innocence to believe in him.
  15. English: Stiff upper lip, rains a lot, chavs. Irish: Normally drunk. Scottish: Eating haggis and speaking in incomprehensible accents. Welsh: Sheep French: smoking, drinking, swearing and making love all at the same time. Italians: Drive fast, beautiful cars, very emotive and the mothers of the house are permanently cooking. Germans: Lederhosen, beer halls, and sausages. Ja! Austrians: Yodelling to a lonely goatherd. Spanish: Enjoying a siesta after a large paella. Nordic countires: pilaging :P Shame they're nearly all false, and only clicḫ̩̉̉s.
  16. Blast... :( Ah well when we lose I can crack out the old "well I don't really watch cricket anyway" excuse :P Let's fight to the end though!
  17. Very nice guide. Shame i've got nowhere near the level, but who knows, one day... :
  18. I've stuck all the fairy ring codes on mine :D
  19. Best: Swan Song RFD Cabin Fever (I loved it) Lunar Diplomacy Worst: Rag and Bone Man Souls Bane
  20. Ah yes now I see. His knee just looked very raised, as if he was standing over something. :)
  21. As people have said, try to give the chair a little more depth and substance, and then put the guy sitting down either more central or slightly more upright. He looks very 2D right now. The mask looks a little crooked and the fangs are crooked in relation to the horns. I don't know how you'd improve the coins per-se, but maybe stick a few items in there to give it more depth and 3D effect. Keep it up!
  22. Looking good so far. What's he supposed to be doing though?
  23. Very impressive, I especially like 3, 4 and 6. :)
  24. Different style of voice really. Haha, this seriously does sound alot like How To Solve A Problem Like Maria. :P Yeah, well those freak...I mean talent shows are all the same really. :P
