early running advice
I can find it quite hard getting up in the morning to exericse. My dad's done it for 30 odd years because we've always had a dog that needs exercising. If you have that kind of simple drive to get you up it's easier I think, you have no choice. In your case, try a cold shower, or splashing cold water on your face, or find a song that never fails to motivate you, find a picture of a reason for your motivation and stick it somewhere in your bedroom etc. As for the running bit, find a course that's a good length, and do it at whatever pace you want to, don't make it too fast first time though. Then try and improve on that time each time. Running regularly last year from September through to around January I brought the time it takes me down to run the course from 22 minutes to 15. I was really pushing myself by the end, but I feel a lot better for it, and it's helped me with other sports. One more thing, never actually stop running while you're out on a run. It may be tough, but over a relatively short course it's possible, and once you've stopped it's hard to get going again. Keep going and you'll feel better for it.

Songs you want to tell the world about?
Hope There's Someone by Antony and the Johnsons. Sent it to all my friends as soon as I heard it, at first they all laughed when they heard the slightly wailing, soppy vocals, but as they kept on listening i'd say 90% of them agreed that it really was beautiful and surprisingly moving.

Have you been a victim of inspiration?
Self inspiration mostly. I look at the hiscores now and again at the high ranking players, but if I see a goal that looks fun i'll do it.

Wierd teachers
Oh man that reminds me of a geography teacher I had who was absolutely terrified of bees, he must have been stung as a child or something, and because we were a load of mean year 8's we made buzzing sounds around him a lot.

I need some tips on how to write a song!
Yeah well don't go by me, i'm no great songwriter by any means, but I think I heard someone like Paul McCartney once say that he sometimes wrote the lyrics first, sometimes the melody. I was always curious if there was a set pattern, there isn't, but it's probably easier to do the melody first to create a better overall song.

How was your first day back to school.
Surprisingly good, being the oldest in the school (not counting sixth formers) is pretty cool, i've got the same teachers as last year who are all good (except one, who left and i've got a new good one), had a good catch up with all my mates, found out I can play hockey for the school this term and take an extra interesting subject. Oh yeah, and I got the all important top locker \

Wanted a PS3? Tough.
Oh well, I was never going to buy it anyway, waaay to expensive for moi.

What sports/activites are you out for?
Rugby, i've got to the county finals in, just missed out on a place though. I started playing hockey and played for my school 2nd team 3 years early in my first term of proper playing. Tennis, I got through to the county finals which are in a couple of weeks. Cycling, completed a 75 mile bike ride in 3 hours 49 minutes, not bad on a mountain bike. Football (soccer) at my primary school I was A team keeper and had a clean sheet in my last year, never lost a game \ Dinghy sailing, RYA stage 3 certified. Meh, haven't done any certificates in a while, I want to get to instructor level. I do karate, red belt, but i'll be damned if my legs will ever be flexible enough for a roundhouse kick to the head. :( Running, cross country, came fourth in my year. Not bad at shotput, do it for my school.

I need some tips on how to write a song!
Whenever I write down any lyrics, they're always about a situation I can relate to. Have you ever been in love? How did it feel, how did it turn out? Look deep inside of yourself and look at your rawest emotions (be honest) and try and turn them into lyrics. It sounds hard, but it works well for me, whatever i'm feeling I can turn into lyrics. Make sure the lyrics sound kinda poetic, or fit the melody and your away. Don't be afraid to write about what you feel, lyrics from the heart are the best lyrics. Not always the case, i've written a couple of songs with emotionally charged lyrics which I wouldn't want to have to change to fit to a melody, so I stuck the rest of the melody onto them. Whatever works best.

Guide to 60k construction xp per hour WITHOUT A BUTLER
Meh, I personally hate converting planks or buying them myself, so i'll probably stick to my butler method. However this does look very handy and tempting. Nice one =D>

So, I feel like something new.
Oh well in that case $500 or less should easily get you a good acoustic guitar for a beginner. I'll let the experts come in and advise you :P

So, I feel like something new.
I don't know what your budget is, and I don't know a lot about different acoustics, but if you really are just starting out like you said you are I would probably recommend one of those cheap acoustic starter packs that come with a tuner, picks, songbooks etc. I know the guitar won't be great, but it's a start and you can still have a lot of fun with them. I still pick up my replica fender strat now and again for a blast. Search google for "acoustic guitar starter packs" and you'll get more results than you shake a hat at. But here is an example of a fairly reputable starter guitar manufacturer. I'm sure there'll be others with a better knowledge of acoustic guitars though.

What kind of instrument do you play?
Played the classical guitar for about, oooh 10 years? Played the electric for 3 years. Played the piano on and off for 5 years, but i'm nowhere near as good on that, it's just a handy composing tool. I'm sure i'll never become pro, but it's great to be able to pick it up and play to friends, or on your own. It's also great to hear a song, go play it and change it a bit, make it a mini cover version.

Singer-songwriters
Probably this one Jeff Buckley's vocals are so raw and emotive, it sends shivers down my spine. His lyrics, whilst not all his own, are so powerfully moving, so expressive, and cut so close to the bone for me. The album, mostly sad, has enough contrast and diversity to keep me going forever. He died too young.

Wierd teachers
My history teacher (a stocky man) would often put people in headlocks when he asked them a question until they answered. He would also have a toy shotgun that he'd pull out of his desk and point at us until we got the answer right. Funny stuff.

In remembrance of Steve Irwin
If; someone who founded and directed a large zoo to help educate and care for animals, someone who made documentaries on wild animals for millions of people around the world to watch and learn from, who respected and really did care for animals, and did all this with an incredible energy and enthusiasm for his work, making it fun for viewers and colleagues, is an idiot, then maybe we all should be a bit more like this "idiot". I don't want to start a war on this thread, but I cannot sit back and watch that man be called an idiot after everything he did.

You ever Loved someone apart from family members?
First off, huge congratulations to Andy! Have a huge awesome engagement party and a great life together as Mr. and Mrs. Anesthesia \ And to the original question, yes, there is a girl I truely love, but it's unrequited, so hurts like hell at times, but I don't care, I can wait.
