  1. I loved the UK office, i've never seen the american one but i've heard it's not bad. The UK one was fantastic though, brilliant humour.
  2. Yup, i'm with you there. > everything else
  3. Assassin 696 combat 105 with no interest in spending hours getting frustrated over healers.
  4. The first one, you'd play second fret A then fourth fret D and G together. And the way I would do it is to play the A with my thumb and use my index and middle to play the other two.
  5. Anything and everything except hip hop and rap (although I do like some of those). Mostly rock though.
  6. I've never taken creatine or any other protein supplements for working out and never will. I'm satisfied with my gains just by having a healthy, but protein rich diet, and in my opinion it's a waste of money, your body can only take and convert so much protein a day, and for someone who eats a lot of meat creatine would be wasted.
  7. Totally reminds me: Teenage Wasteland by The Who is freakin' awesome. Ah yes, and of course all the other diddley diddley synthesised Who tunes, great stuff :D
  8. Shine On You Crazy Diamond Can't Stop by the Chili Peppers Pinball Wizard by The Who Sweet Child O' Mine - Guns N' Roses Money For Nothing - Dire Straits
  9. How could i forget David Gilmour? I'll add him to my original list.
  10. Don't know what my score was, but it was in the top percent at my age group for my country. Woo?. :| Not worth anything anyway, it's just a number, you can't judge a person by it and doesn't mean anything to me in the real world.
  11. Only pulled one non-caffeine induced all nighter and I really regretted it. If what you're doing is mildy interesting, it shouldn't be too hard. If it's not though, fresh air, bright lights and shuffled music should keep you going.
  12. There was a thread for this somewhere else but i've changed my opinion since. Based on technical proficiency: Joe Satriani Steve Vai Yngwie Malmsteem John Petrucci Eddie Van Halen Based on compositional, flair, and all round showmanship and brilliance: Jimi Hendrix Eric Clapton David Gilmour Pete Townsend Jimmy Page
  13. I wouldn't skip a post with bad grammar unless it was shockingly bad, but that's rare. A surprising number of people don't actually have the english ability to use 100% good grammar, and I wouldn't judge them by that.
  14. Good choice. And is that Bowie in your avatar? Indeed it is.
  15. I'm sure there are better examples than this, but at the Monoco Grand Prix Shumacher had pole, but Alonso (I think) was doing a very fast lap which could have given him pole. So Schumacher's car "broke down" (he spun out and blocked the entire road, Monoco is a narrow course) which brought out the safety car and secured his pole. Everyone condemned it though as cheating.
  16. If you want to do it, do it, 48 hours isn't a lifetime, you could probably have done it by now. Seems pointless to me, if you want a challenge, go climb a mountain, it's more rewarding.
  17. Uh... Keith Moon, Zak Starkey, Jon Bonham. All good.
  18. My thoughts are with anyone who lost someone that day. I suppose the whole media reaction we saw is a consequence of the age and society we live in, but we'll never forget.
  19. I have to question some of his racing "tactics" now and again, and some people argue that a lot of his success is partly down to his car, but I have to admire him as a phenomenally successful driver.
  20. Even though I can't make it, congratulations, seen you busily cooking down in the rogues den :P

  22. The soundtrack from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
  23. Good lord, that's....pretty fast
  24. I'm a big Tchaikovsky fan, but I have to agree some of Mozart's pieces are very powerful. I like his piano sonatas as well.
