BTW gehjl, you just restored my faith in imports, I'm glad someone knows what he's talking about when it comes to engine performance, not just reading the "specs" off a car in NFSU and calling it a tuner. And 74gto, do you actually know how those parts increase performance, like actually know how an engine works? Have you ever disassembled an engine and bored out the cylinders, or ported and polished one? Do you know how to even install half the parts you listed? By the way, I couldn't find "titanium gaskets" for sale anywhere I looked.

Have you seen some of those spoilers? They are made of plastic, cost like $20, and have no real aerodynamic planning gone into the design. Heck, I bet some of the designers of those spoilers have no idea what fluid dynamics even are. It is true that ones from professional tuning/racing companies will improve performance on the track, but most of them are supposed to make it look like you actually know something about racing. I mean, look at this one of these things!

Hehheh, today I was at school and there was this guy in the parking lot with one of those huge spoilers, everyone thought it must be such a fast car. I wonder if he has any idea that that wing is actually producing lift and that lift is a bad thing when racing.

ARRRGH! (sorry, pet peeve) but it isn't a whine like a real turbocharged car, if anything it sounds like a flatulent goat. If you want your car to sound turbocharged, buy a turbocharger! Just getting a big, stupid muffler will not emulate the sound of a turbo spooling up and the waste gate shrieking. I will admit, if I could have any car at all, short of $200,000 of course, it would be a Mitsubishi Evo VIII, but I certainly wouldn't get some big plastic body kit for it. 340 HP out of 2 litres!

*Raises hand* Agreed! It sounds like your friend actually knows what he's doing and the 240SX is a nice car. But just driving by the local high school I see people in their dorked-out Honda's with coffee can mufflers. If they didn't spend all their time playing NFSU they might realize a bigger exhaust tip it NOT a "extreme" tuner upgrade. But the question is, do you remember real American muscle? I own a '64 Chevy Impala SS, that in my mind is the real American muscle. \

I've broken a few helmets in half, but other than that nothing serious. My friend, on the other hand, was hit by a Pepsi truck when she was 3 or so and living in Latin America. She was dragged along under the truck and lost one eye and most of her jaw. She was adopted and brought to america, and is now on something like her 41st reconstuctive surgery in the 11 years since.

What I really dislike is people like seahawk. I don't know where you go to school, but there sure as **** isn't "babying" of the freshmen at my school. Where do you all go to school, some rich kid school, or is mine just gone bad? Anyway even if they are "looked out for" do you know why? It's because you are BIGGER, I don't have any problem with upperclassmen pushing them around, but getting in fights with them just because they assured victory is just sad. Also, the emo's are some of the smartest people I know (I'm not one :roll: ). One girl in my school is only fourteen but one of the best bloggers I know of. Let the flaming begin. ^Just kidding, for everyone looking to flame me^

I have the hardware to run three, but I just don't feel it's necesary after trying it... I use two most of the time now.

if you want a forum you will want to use a non-free web hosting service because ones like tripod are very hard to work with.

I used to be able to pull 8 hrs straight (i actually hate doing that though) but now I actually have a job #-o and have to go to work and program, and as my theorum says "linux + runescape = something um bad and slowish ." So I cant play at work which limits me to about an hour at a time

I'm using Beta Two to post this right now, and belive me it is not a happy system.... With my 1 gig of ram, 3.0 ghz P4, and 256 megs of video, it just barely is chugging along. I really like XP now. :P (Aero glass is pretty cool though) They should have left the old start menu in my opinion, it is pretty much just like browsing through folders now, not a menu. Also IE 7 is probably still worse than IE 6 in terms of performance and also usability (sp?). I like Firefox better than it anyway. Whoa, there went the network connection, now the "network center" is completly frozen... Disclaimer: This is my OPINION, not fact, don't flame me for it. : 8-)

Dont worry you'll find a way past it. I did :twisted: if you can find a admin password for the proxy, (unlikely but i did) you can set it to allow runescape.

You could still get your stuff back, us a program like un-erase, it's for mac but i bet theres somthing like it for pc
