Microsoft released a handful of Security Fixes today (Tuesday 12 December 2006). Windows Update Patching these vulnerabilities is very important. If you want to see exactly what fixes are available and what is being patched, click on the link above and then click on "Custom". Select the Critical Updates offered by Microsoft, install them, then reboot. Go back to Windows Update, select "Custom" again, and select any of the other upates offered.... like the DST fixes and Windows Media Player 11, etc. Stay safe everybody!

So, is this how it works? Say you have level-80 attack. You turn in 100 tickets and get 117,333.33 exp in that skill, which would be 1173.333 exp. points per ticket? Looks about right. :)

Jagex is aware of the server problems. Andrew posted in the forums:

Go there and look. You can choose to not install them if you wish. You can also choose to download and install ALL of them, then when it asks you to reboot, just select "reboot later". :) Whatever you do, please don't forget or ignore them!

Once again, Microsoft has posted up some Critical Updates. Head over to Windows Update and grab 'em. Even if you're set to receive updates automatically, it's the wise man (or woman) :) who checks the update site manually every now and then. There may be some other updates available that may interest or benefit you. Go get them!

Keylogger Killer is a legitimate program. But, please only download it from a legitimate and trusted site. There are many: Go to http://www.google.com and search for keywords keylogger killer. Select a site, read and/or download at your leisure.

If you don't upgrade (best solution), your options are limited. Use the RS downloadable client Run low-detail No chat programs loaded or running No browsers loaded up Try to have absolutely nothing else running at all, just the game itself That's the best I can offer in your situation.

Well, it looks like you have a Sony VAIO VGC-RB30 system but there are a few flavors. Go to Sony's support area and let it determine your exact system by clicking the appropriate button. http://esupport.sony.com/perl/select-sy ... NAVDISP=pc I do see that there is a BIOS upgrade available to address some memory issues, but probably not what you're experiencing. I believe your system only supports 2gb memory, but you'll have to download your manual and spec's from SONY yourself.... and read up on installing additional memory. I'd do a bit more research on your motherboard. Make sure it can handle 1gb memory sticks. With 4 memory slots, are you sure your motherboard is capable of 4gb of memory? Or are 4 x 512mb modules the largest you can have? (that would be 2gb)
