Do you really believe this statement? Really? What about the gold standard that the USA ran on for almost 200 years? Gold is in short supply. What about the Stock Market? I believe everything on the market is in short supply based on the demand. That is why prices rise. Look at oil. It is in short supply incomparison to consumer consumption. I bought my wife a nice engagement ring a few years back. I spent several several thousand dollars on a little lump of carbon. Those are always in short supply. Perhaps we should take all the oil, gold, and diamonds and launch them into orbit in a giant space ship since everyone can't afford them. Well you did post again. Point taken. There are those people who don't play the game, therefore they are outside the realm of needing or caring about white or blue collars. They find fun in the trade/economic angle of the game. Some people call this "manipulation" but it isn't. Every player has the choice to buy or pass on buying and item. If no one bought from "merchanters" they would have no choice but to lower the prices. So obviously some people do buy. I have no problem with this either. Whatever makes YOU enjoy the game is what matters.

Well let's look at what we have. Easter Egg (unequippable) Pumpkin (unequippable) Disk of Returning (unequippable) Half Wine (unequippable) Halloween Mask Party Hat Christmas Cracker (unequippable) Imagine the US Economy. We have blue collar workers mining, farming, line manufacturing (smelting), working construction, etc. These workers bring in raw materials and provide assembly and sales to everyone. In return they are paid a modest salary that gets them by. Most are content. Then there are white collar workers. They work in manufacturing (RE: high level smithing, upper herblore, runecraft, etc.) These people get paid more AND get stock benefits. But wait, due to insurance the bank only allows a certain amount of coinage to be deposited. So what do they do? They invest. Entry level employees get Easter Eggs, Pumpkins and the like. As their portfolio matures they reinvest for better stocks, finally picking up a mask or phat. Maybe they become an executive and get a Christmas Cracker as a bonus. In the end the executive either retires, quits, or is fired and all the wealth they have accured goes with them. This in turn makes everyone elses stock go up. But then we go back to the blue collar workers. A few think they can do more and train extra-hard and save every coin they can. Eventually they reach the threshold and cross over to entry level white collar. NOW: Imagine the stock market crashes and all the rares are gone. Ever heard of the Great Depression? The white collars have nothing as all their money was tied up in stock. Therefore, they can't pay for the supplies the blue collars were making and everyone gets layed off. While the white collars get by the blue collars die in the streets homeless. So, in conclusion, who wants to get rid of rares now? The players without rares. Who will be effected most? The players without rares. POINT: I own no rares, but mark me down as one that is ok with rares being in the game.

Good guide, I'd suggest always carrying a few extra traps of whatever you are using. I've been getting lots of mimes (4 since hunter released) and evil bob balloon prisons (about 6). Each time I've lost traps despite doing the random as quickly as possible.

For your 71 and beyond section I have a few comments: Use a new cape Spotty or Spottier to make energy last even longer. Home teleport nows saves your tail if you forgot a tele device. If you havent finished Monkey Madness you can also pick monkeynuts in the small cave for food. Keep health around 10 and you won't be hit for as much damage when you fail. There are three sizes of ninja/archer monkey. I found the smallest monkey fails less but that could just be a fluke of my trials. I think that was all I had, great guide. Z

Yup not a bug. What is a bug is that everytime I store Prince outfit in costume box it turns into the Princess outfit. But when I equip it, it magicall turns back into the Prince outfit.

A few points: I never needed climbing boots: If you use Games Ammy and Trollheim tele they aren't required. My rake broke when My Arm used it, so I repaired it and gave it back, but I gave him supercompost and the Goutweed never got diseased so I didn't need a plant cure. IMPORTANT: If you fight the Rocs before giving My Arm the shovel the leprecaun runs away. Log out and back in. You will be back in the stronghold at the base of the ladder. Go back up and the leprecaun is back. So you will not have to bank again to get a spade. Great Guide!!!

Yes it is luring but I don't think it is a reportable offense as he is not scamming you. As long as he didn't do the book trick or some other bug abuse. You took the money in to the wildy freely. Sadly, that means you can lose it. This is why I hardly ever trade in edgeville, but when I do, only inside the bank. That said, I am sorry your lost your money, but don't expect to see him banned for life.

I expect the Halloween update to start by the end of the week. But if it doesn't I'll just........ keep playing the game. Doesn't really spoil my fun one way or the other. I have played many RPG's before and this is by far the most updated with the exception of Total Annihilation. But to be honest most of the units sucked wagon. Right click pics, go to properties, copy url, paste into browser and remove www. from them.
