  1. A Rushed write up of events: January through July Following a huge Commonwealth Offensive, and plagued by logistical problems, Russia split down into three SSRs. The Eura-Asian SRR, The Siberian SSR and the Russian SSR. Drawing troops back from the African front, Russia launched a massive counter offensive through India and Sri Lanka, biting into the back of the Commonwealth, which was forced to abandon their offensive into China to prevent the spread of Russian forces. Northern Africa was divided amongst the European nations, with the Middle East given to New Bulgaria, and Britian assigned to the Eura-Asian SSR. In America the Americans flooded south, taking parts of northern South America, rewarded with Cuba and the Southern United States, including Florida. In space the British and Swiss have fallen out as allies, resulting in a breakdown in the asteroid mining protection areas, a breakdown which the Russians have exploited to their full capacity, which is further hampering the Swiss/British counter offensive as resource levels continue to fall. At the center of the increase in tension is allegations that the British have been saving Genocidal Bioweapons to use against Earth, killing billions...Something which, in and of itself the Swiss do not oppose, their opposition hinges more on the fact that this would give Britian sole ability to reinhabit Earth. The argument eventually fizzled itself, but the close alliance has been destroyed, in its place is an alliance of distrust.

  3. Mather, you are only part Geek...Full Geeks don't have the massive muscles you always claim to have. Where as I have a vague geekiness, rather overshadowed by my nonchalance and helpful nature...which moves me out of the general catagories. On an unrelated note: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGk4AKOwJbc Reminded me of someone
  4. Mather, trillions of bacteria live in the mouth with different DNA to us... Using nanites to purge your entire body of everything mildly foreign would strip you of every defence you have, making you solely reliant on Nanites for everything...Which is fine, but it will mean that you won't be able to eat... Repairing damage is fine. So your statement is: "Nanites are uber powerful, why can't I use them to kill someone in 5 seconds?" Did you read my post about overpowered comments? I don't mind Red Faction Nano Forge like weapons, disassembling a target's leg with one shot or what have you...but when you start talking about nanites that do brain surgery if you shoot them vaguely in the general area of the target...that is where I think the whole concept becomes ridiculous. Not to mention producing...what? A few trillion nanites in every shot? (If you are having 61 gram slugs) You are looking at a White Elephant
  5. Do you mean would it be able to produce a laser arrow? Sure, though it would only be good for straight lining. If you had some sort of plasma arrow...that could work.
  6. Seems rather self defeating...If power has to be transferred from storage point A to usage point B, then it requires logistics...for example, a string of nanites from A to B supplying the energy...Which would mean significant delays to firing. In addition to this a fuel cell on your back to power a railgun in your hand? Why not just have a railgun and hold that in your hand? Since anyone not from TV land will remove a big, chilled, backpack that seems to be plugged into your back...or at least disconnect it. Right...Programming robots with medical knowladge is like giving car keys to drunk teenagers. Also diagonistics is not an exact art...and testing things inside the body is probably not a good idea...and cures for any condition would be relatively difficult to synthesis... Some diagnoses merely name a set of signs and symptoms that may have more than one possible cause, and some diagnoses are based on intuition or estimations of likelihood. Silver would be best, as its resistivity is 0.000000016 Ohms per meter, while Copper is 0.0000000172, and Gold is 0.000000023 Yes...Comments like that tend towards me thinking it is overpowered. Thus leading me to point out that you would suffer from sever immune responce, since the nanites are not part of your own body, thus the body would freakout and attack the little monsters. So I would imagine your nanites would totally eradicate your own immune system, which would mean a lot of the medical diagnostics would be useless... As for 'Dig into the brain of the enemy'...Its just not going to happen...Two things stop this: 1. The blood-brain barrier 2. A nanite is tiny...It would be killed, in most cases, by passing cells within the body, and if not, when it got to the brain it would be electrified and would take hours to do any real damage...by which time it(nanite) would be dead.
  7. Star Craft 2, I would assume. (Totally a Craft Virgin, randomly) Supreme Commander sorta died after I played my first five game...Left with a 'Well...this is fun, shields+artillary=Win' OR 'Tankrush=Win' None of the strategy or resource gathering of Red Alert or C&C.
  8. First off, it would be a subcutaneous reserviour or an injection...not a suit. Secondly, nanites that actively seek out infections are liable to go to war with your own body. And nanites, unlike the bodies current defences, would be more resiliant to methods to shut them down. Thirdly, they would provide some additional protection against the outside world, though would need reprogramming every time something new was discovered/be intelligent...And would suppress the bodies own immune system. Forthly, they could help with basic stuff, but realistically speaking they would cause more problems than they would solve, since they would inhibit blood vessel growth, bone reconstruction...that kind of Jazz. Fifthly, the body could end up going to war against the nanites. Sixthly, the nanites would be making lots of small changes, which could have a lot of large consequences...Due to cross reactions and what not. Seventhly, the nanites would take up extreme amounts of resources...For example firing bullets out of your fingers would require .7 grams of iron...Your body has around 2.5 grams total...so you could fire 3.something shots before dying of lack of oxygen. Eighthly, the energy consumption of a human powered railgun? An active male should burn around 1,750 Kilogram Calories of Energy per day, about 4.2 kilojoules. A small, 0.7 gram slug, on a 70 centimeter track, can be accelerated with 7 kilojoules of energy, to around 3,000 m/s...effective weight of 2.1 Kilograms.* Now, scale that down to 20 centimeters(a large hand) and the figures should be: 24.5 Kilojoules 0.2 gram slug, effective weight 600 grams 857 m/s, or 600 grams effective weight Per bullet. So you would need to treble your daily food intake, process 3 times as much food, and then you would be able to fire 1 iron slug, which has an effective weight of 600 grams. Assuming you were just firing a nanite or twenty at them, its doable, but would mean a massive force to break the skin. Ninthly, nanite running-energy intake would be written off as zero. Tenthly, electricity would take the path of least resistance...So unless the nanites blocked bloodflow around them and made a chain through the whole body, then a hole in the finger/whatever you were touching the attacker/powersource with...so you didn't get electrocuted yourself...you would get electrocuted...and more importantly, the nanites would shortout. *[hide]The Yugoslavian MTI (MTI - Military - technology institute) developed, within a project named EDO-0, a rail gun with 7 kJ kinetic energy, in 1985. In 1987 a successor was created, project EDO-1, that used projectile with a mass of 0.7 g and achieved speeds of 3,000 m/s, and with a mass of 1.1 g reached speeds of 2,400 m/s. It used a track length of 0.7 m[/hide] Ultimately, doable, though with disadvantages and only minor advantages.
  9. I rarely have time to play any game as well as Space/Hegemony/Dungeoneering. Occassionally I find a game to play, like Resident Evil, play it for a week, usually less, and then move on. Also:
  10. Yeah, sorry, thought I oked it. Level 2(1000+1500): It will mean you bypass the training period where you crash into walls and such, and at level 5 you can choose a bonus of some type. Hehe, the third session was more directly about researching and that bag of things, since people stopped, looked around and starting fleshing out the skeleton of the ship. Since what happens is mostly dependant on the people involved and what they do though... The keypad to the lab was supposed to be one of those 'Ok, lets search around for the scrap of paper hidden in the Captain's Quarters and discover his journal' but then it was TBed. Similarly with ICOM, it was a program used in the Shield Generator Room with a minor subplot that reconnecting ICOMs memory would disable the shields, thus only 2 or 3 questions could be asked before it was too dangerous. But since people TBed it early on it just appeared useless. The bridge door was locked with a puzzle lock, which was blown up. The main corridor zombie fight could have been TB bypassed(Airvent or something), if you didn't want to fight your way through them...but people did. But yes, I take your critisism onboard. I will try to add more traps that aren't simply 'A Turret Appears!' and flesh a back story out a little more in my mind...maybe adding some journal fragements placed in random locations, rather than everything being a search on the computer. Though the next mission will feature Aliens so fragments will be encoded in some manner. Also, I am going to be away for the weekend and Monday looks 80% likely to be on, though 20% likely not to be on.

  12. Admiral Jean, not Jen =P Escape shuttle blew up, Jen killed Jeremiah, Drake mysteriously transported out before the explosion though. Then the crew were taken to Planitia for debriefing and bioscans. Retech, you should come back, you could be a mercenary or some such, like Ico was.
  13. Lol at the major idiocy, avoiding clues as to what actually happened. Since the mission is over: 30th March 2059, Jen completes CP1 (Collection 1), containing the Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide and Carbon Monoxide Cells. 29th January 2060, Agent Volta vents the hydrogen reserves with news that Jen is reaching completion of the project. 8th Febuary 2060, The Soya Craft enters Jupiters' Atomsphere 11th Febuary 2060, Volta overloads the Ionisation Array, rendering the Soya Craft powerless to resist the atomspheric currents. Fortunately, using the shields the Soya Craft is able to wedge itself into the Atomsphere, not going any lower, not going any higher. Distress calls are sent.(They are never picked up) 12th Febuary 2060, Volta is captured, tortured and eventually flushed out an airlock. Jen continues working of the Super Enzyme. 28th March 2060, Jen completes SE,Gen1(Super Enzyme, Generation 1) and injects into plants for testing. 29th March 2060, Plants are exposed to Plant Diseases and are shown to be entirely resilliant. 1st of April 2060, Plants are ground up, ignited, vapourised and other such to determine how resilliant they are. 3rd of April 2060, A Dog is injected with SE,Gen1, it quickly dies. 4th of April 2060, Jen combines SE,Gen1 and CP1 into CP2. 7th of April 2060, Another Dog is injected with CP2. The dog seems fine. 10th of April 2060, Human test subject(The guy Earth woke up) in Stasis is injected with CP2, they seem fine. 11th of April 2060, An accident? in the cargobay involving G38(Anthrax Variant) is released into the ship. Since G38 has no known cure, members of the infected crew(everyone outside of the lab) is given a shot of CP2. 12th of April 2060, CP2 knocks out all of the injected personal, though G38 is wiped out. 12th April 2060 to 19th of May 2060, Jen and research assistant Unnamed refine the four parts of CP2 through 14 versions, eventually arriving at CP16, which awakens the crew members. Jen invokes Quarentine after one of the versions(CP11) reanimated the subject as a Zombie, which bit Research Assistant Unnamed, putting him in extreme pain until he killed himself. 30th May 2060 to 15th July, Crew Members degenerate to Zombies, seemingly at random. 15th July 2060, the final 6 non-zombified crew members are left. 18th September 2060, a crew member is killed by zombified crew while getting supplies from the cargobay. 27th September 2060, another crew member shows early signs of zombification and kills themselves, these tests later shown to be false positive. 10th October 2060, Crew member gets into a stasis chamber and goes to sleep because they are going mad. 15th October 2060, 3 Crewmembers, including Stan, head to the life support room to change the filter, none of which return. 15th October 2060 to 21st June 2061, Jen remains in the lab, looking for a cure and refining SE. Evenutally discovering an Auto-Immune responce which attacks the Super-Enzyme Creator in the blood stream. 21st June 2061 to 24th August 2061, Jen synthesises a Hyper-active White Blood Cell through some clever biology and then modifies it into a virus that would infect normal whiteblood cells, turning them into the H-Cell. 25th August 2061, Jen sneaks her way to the life support room (She has CP1-Adv in her blood, as well as numerous genetic advancements added between the original oubreak and then), attaches the virus caninster, bolts it into place, which counts as maintanance, and then returns to the lab and activates it remotely. Nothing significant happens. 25th December 2061, the computer begins reminding Jen that the air filter needs changing, a reminder that can only be shut off from Life Support. 28th December 2061, Jen sets off to the life support room, succeeds in disabling the automated alert, but is bitten on the way back. She returns to the lab and double doses on the H-Cell. She knows that her body will totally overeact and probably kill her, so puts herself in stasis, where her body will slowly fight the infection, and sets up the life support machine to nuke her immune system after that. 28th July 2085, Jen gets irradiated and her immune system dies. It slowly rebuilds over the next 5 years. January 2091, Unity Shuttle Docks, Jen wakes up and activates the dormant defences following a message from Chi(To be fair to Chi some of the defences were active before then, such as the armoury corridor and the life support corridor...And technically Theros activated the Shield Corridor, though that would have activated anyway) (Parts of this are obviously back formation, since I hadn't planned the logs or the maintanace schedual in advance...in truth my overview was: Pre-2060 Jen announces super cure for all bioweapons Jen fades into obscurity, taken by the Japanese and watched by Jeremiah's Benefactors Jen is blasted into space and makes a lot of progress on the anti-bioweapon 2060ish Volta disables the ship, is captured and killed Jen makes the Zombie Virus Captain tells Jen there is no way she is testing on a live human Accident that isn't an accident occurs, and Jen tests on everyone Zombie outbreak Jen and team of surviours take refuge in the basement of the Crew Quarters Jen creates a Vaccine, not a cure, and releases it somehow(Explaining why the Crew of the Unity don't zombify, which would just get confusing) Post-2060 Jen survives to see the Unity arrive and masterminds a defensive effort when she finds out they are not a Japanese Relief Force Endings: Virus gets loose somehow on Earth, and reduces humanity to outposts. Virus and cure get loose somehow on Earth, humanity decends into chaos, eventually recovering. Neither get loose, but the whole plot is exposed(What happened so details are hidden) The entire plot is kept secret, nothing significant occurs, but Unity gets a large amount of Credits and a free ship upgrade. If there are any questions feel free to ask them before next session feel free to ask. However I would like to draw a line under events here after that, as I am liable to fill in the blanks in my memory with fiction. Also please, please, please tell me honestly what you thought. I am thinking of doing another of these scenarios(Since I now have a decent amount of experience and know roughly what to expect...and it is reasonably fun to do them). The next session will be the backlash from last session and a chance of do your sims and such. If I do the new campaign then it will start on Thursday, when an old Lecturer of Faust's gets in touch about some discovery he made and wants the Unity to assist him.(Details by Wednesday night, I imagine, if there are no objections).
  14. Excel has a magic button that makes all the problems go away: [hide][/hide] Elsewise I find the problem with excel is that people forget the convoluted system they thought up to deal with it, or things don't look exactly like they should because of something, and then they search for the solution to that problem, resolve that problem, try to take the next step, can't remember, and then it doesn't work because you fiddled with that over there and then the computer screen flies off the table and the screen doesn't work. Which is one of the many reasons I prefer paper...
  15. It would be a considerably better system if you did...and if you can instruct me how to create such a system I would be most obliged...since I have racked my brain for a considerable period of time to answer that. As for the map being completed...It usually is, crew quarters was an error on my computers part, where I saved over the original <_<

  17. /join #space21 tavern Log: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12603519/Space/Logs/%23space21.Tip.It.log Session will start in around an hour, I am going for a shower and should be avalible after that. Also I am gonna change policy a little to make things more interesting by limiting 3 people to a room at any one time...except emergencies, of course. Also holodroids and mini-robots are gonna be included in that... Basically to prevent 'Me and 7 other people storm into the 2 by 2 meter room and totally own the Alien in there.' or 'I set up my robot army behind me and set them to constantly fire into the doorway.' (Primarily, though, this is because the map I have only fits 3 counters.) If you try to enter a room(and it is not an emergency) with 3 people in already then you will stop outside the door. Emergencies are if people are unconscience in the room. Walking through a room doesn't count. Corridors don't count, and if you are following someone from a corridor into a room you will wait outside. Massive rooms also don't count and there will be exceptions...like the Parts bay on the Zombie ship. On the plus side I will be keeping a paper copy of the ship map and other maps such, with counters representing where people are...Thus reducing confusion on my part *Yay*. PS. Gating will still probably happen...If you want to prevent this say 'I stand where I am and [whatever action you do]' Please feel free to say this is a horrible system if you think it is
  18. My plan was actually to just build a smithy and become a mastercraftsman, maybe eventually grow a settlement on the coast.

  20. Everything has advantages and disadvantages, its just a case of finding them and then engineering situations where the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. [hide] I am aware that the angle of incidence is wrong...and I suspect I used the wrong term...but for demonstrative purposes its fine.[/hide]
  21. English has a much larger vocabulary than most languages. Though it is not perfect...For example, if we want to say that there is something in something else over there, we use six words. Where as the Eskimos use one word, qakun, to say something in something else over there. But yeah: It also occurs that a lot of the popular books of the modern world are written in English...For example, Harry Potter, giving us words like 'Muggle' to describe people of a non-magical origin, where as before, if you wanted to describe someone who wasn't magical you would say 'They are not magical'...or something along those lines. And this is not exactly new...Shakespeare defined a whole host of words in the English Language which compressed otherwise large concepts...Deafening, for instance....so rather than 'There was a noise of such magnitude that all those who heard it could were rendered deaf by it' we can say 'The noise was deafening.' Or we are just lazy, so our words are shorter.... Mmmm, it gets confusing when people use say 'They follow this person' :wall:
  22. Japanese people tend to be called Jen because I don't really want to call them Toyota, Yaris and Sony...Which are the only Japanese names I know. Plus Empress Jen, the Disease Bringer, was famous. And Soya for Soy Sauce, oddly enough =P Interestingly Russian names, such as "Электростанция" and "Индустриализация" are girls names...and translate as "Power Station" or "Industrialisation" while boy's names include "Combine Harvester" and "23rd of Febuary"
  23. Q&A(Drawn from the Database Theros has access to, the AI's Knowledge and other stuff mentioned over the course of the game) Q: Why don't shields protect from Zombie bites? A: Shields, generally, are not designed to inhibit human flesh from passing, as this would lead to all manner of complications when running/falling/using bubble shields such such. Q: What is the content of Zombie Blood? A: Zombie Blood does not contain Red Blood Cells or White Blood Cells. Instead it contains: A cell that exclusively transports Oxygen A cell that exclusively transports Carbon Dioxide A cell that exclusively transports Carbon Monoxygen A cell that transports an unidentified compound, this compound seems to be a 'super' enzyme, capable of semi-intelligent thought, using a DNA sample to constantly repair the body, remove toxins and transport energy. A hyperactive white cell, which seems to be at war with the 'Super Enzyme'. Q: What nationality is the ship? A: Japanese Q: Why is it that bad things happen to me? A: You do things that I deem likely to cause bad things to happen. Q: You misread my post, what are you going to do about it! A: I will occassionally make mistakes, I am sorry about that and am trying to not make mistakes...But most of it is caused by how I read....EG: Becomes "Can" "Push" "Shield" "Bridge" "Slowly" "Pole" "Angle" "Shield" I know that the bridge shield will react the same way regardless of speed or angle, so my responce is based on the string: "Can" "Push" "Shield" "Bridge" "Pole" That all happens in less than a second. So if you think 'This could backfire in some manner' please use capital letters for the key words.(Either the first letter or the whole word if it is majorly important) If I still miss this then please shout pause. Q: There is an inconsistancy! A: There will be, I am a human being dealing with 9 other human beings and a plot line...telling me there is an inconsistancy in the middle of a situation won't help massively because I don't have time to reread your post, reread my post, consult in game physics and what you do and don't have on. If you feel there is a problem, make a note of it and then move on as best you can. If the inconsistancy hasn't resolved itself by the end of the session feel free to PM me. If there is a major, major problem...Say you were carrying a box which would blow up half a planet if it was dropped, and suddenly some jumps out of nowhere and stabs you in the chest, despite you wearing a suit of armour...Then shout pause and draw my attention to things. Note on shields: If you have put shields on five minutes earlier and I forget, then that is my fault and you can chastise me for idiocy. If you put on shields two hours ago and I forget, then that isn't my fault, I don't mind you complaining...you are rightly annoyed...but don't expect your shields to snap back on. The same with instructions like 'If there is a movement upahead I turn on my shields' Either the movement was so fast you couldn't have reacted or the movement was slow enough for you to react and it is your responsibility to put your own shields on. Instructions like 'I put my hand over my shield switch, ready to activate it if anything happens' are good for one round. Q: Who is Volta? A: There is no information avalible at this time. Q: Who is Jen Soya? A: Jen Soya was Earth's formost expert on Anti-Biogenic weapons, although after she claimed to have discovered the Holy Grail to Anti-Bioweapon drugs...and didn't deliever within two years, she was dropped internationally. But Japan kept her on. She disappeared from public life after that. Q: Who is Jen Soya, Database edition? A: After being kept on by Japan Soya continued her work in secret, developing the Zantrax Anti-Bioweapon, a 'Super' Enzyme that would negate the effects of any bio-weapon, natural disease and the aging process. Logs end abruptly shortly after tests began. Q: Who is Mia Soya? A: Mia Soya is Jen's Daughter, she was presumed killed in the recent war. Q: AI, what is your take on all of this? A: It appears that, 30 years ago, around the same time Japan was restarting the space race, they built this modual ship and sent it into space, in secret(Hegemony Handwave). Within two years the Z.A.B. was ready for testing. Since there is no direct comm link between the AI and the Computers on the ship there is nothing futher I could tell you. Q: Why did my sensors mess up under the Crew Quarters? A: Holographic interferance on every wavelength except visable light. Q: Why didn't I tackle the Goggled Woman when I had the chance? A: Jeremiah was blinded in the Crew Quarters basement, then ran into the Parts Bay where Goggled Woman put a gun to his head with breathtaking speed and precision. Dmitri was blinded in the Crew Quarters basement, then ran to the Parts Bay, not attempting to tackle the woman. Chi was blinded by his contrast boosted lens and bumbled around following Jeremiah, before setting up with a tranq gun aimed at Goggled Woman's Hip. Drake was in the shuttle and didn't try to tackle her. Drake's Droids were temporarily disabled by the light, eventually making their way to the Parts Bay Corridor with pretend phasers Theros was locked in the Sensor Room. Faust was on a different floor, originally, making it to the middle floor just in time to see Jen run out of the door. Somehow Jen was aware of his presence and dropped another flashbang. Faust was then blinded temporarily, letting her escape. Q: What is with the 'Somehow' don't you know? A: Generally speaking 'Somehow' means there is an explaination, but there isn't an obvious reason...Like watching a Magician...Something happens, you don't know how/don't want to spoil the illusion, so you say 'Somehow s/he did this'. Sometimes it is just a handwave, like 'How do Meson Pistols work?', Somehow...But for plot points there is always a defined reason. Q: And another thing about inconsistancies! How did Chi blow Jeremiah up when C4 charges are only set when they are about to explode? :ugeek: And why does the Blitz Array not have 100% accuracy? A: I am not an expert on how C4 works, and we are discussing the theoretical shotgun like weapon, based off of conversations we had two or three weeks ago...conversations which lead to confusion during the course of the conversation... If you show me a picture of the Blitz Array(to me it looks like an arm mounted version of that, with a detachable front for easy reloading) and demonstate to me how it would work, in a way that is reasonable(Giving me a diagram and writing 'Self-Explanitory' just won't cut it because I don't know how to read diagrams), or state 'I only attach the detonators after I have set all the charges in place' then yeah, that kind of thing probably wouldn't happen. And this game is riddled with inconsistancies that we just skate over, like how to 8 people stand in a 1.5 meter wide corridor, facing the same way, of roughly equal height, all with clear lines of sight? How is it that everyone knows where everyone else is? Why is it that there are still tranq guns aboard when the medical bay was tranferred then destroyed? How come a shield can fit into a free lapel pin, but costs 27 kT to put on a suit? How do people get equiptment from the other side of the ship to use in a specific situation? How does Dmitri, who has only an AP Beam, also have a gas mask? How did Chi access his Datapad when his spine was broken...And the big one...How do revives actually work? Sometimes things just happen because the moderator is tired/confused or really just not that bothered...either because it is humorous or because making a big deal out of it would just give people the incentive to be difficult in the future. Either you laugh, go 'wasn't that silly' or you become aggressive and the game gets sour. Q: Also ZPE exists and I should be allowed to research ZPMs! A: Science says the Higgs Boson exists...I disagree, therefore, in game the Higgs Boson does not exist. Conventional wisdom says not all Russians are Vodka Swilling Maniacs, not all Britons are out of a James Bond film and not all Americans Agents are named Agent Johnson. I don't pretend that this game is 100% based on what would really happen and I don't pretend this game is scientifically accurate...I especially don't recommend you write about Graviton Hellbores in a Science Exam. Yes I have a broad scientific understanding and I don't mind using it...But I don't have a team of twenty theoretical physists on standby with a state of the art lab and a hotline to CERN... 'Hello? CERN, its Luke again, Faust wants to know what would happen if a proton was fired into a bottle of water at the speed of light.' 'Oh hiya, we were gonna keep looking for the Higgs Boson, but your need is far greater than ours.' Q: You say you want us to be accurate, but you don't give us units to be accurate with! A: Its about finding a balance... I won't directly consult each and every action with the diagram+three paragraphs how it works, I will consult my memory. When running simulations I am not calculating everything on a whiteboard I keep behind the desk, I am making a reasonable guess. If you want to produce a dozen pages of tables, diagrams and brainbusting maths to show your suit/weapon does X, then fine, I will, as best I can, read it and give feedback. Q: On such and such a date said this about that, and now you are contradicting yourself! A: In terms of the game, things will change...people will move, turrets will appear and grenades will be thrown, things are accurate, as far as the AI knows(or you can see yourself), at the time of posting. In terms of game physics...These shouldn't ever change, but doubtlessly will due to the scale of complexity. If they do, send me the two quotes(The original statement and the one that contradicts it), and I will do what I can to straighten it out. If you feel that I have changed game physics and this lead, directly, to some massive bad thing happening, then shout pause and ask about it. Q: Why do I need to shout pause? If you screwed up then you should just admit to it. A: If I have posted something then the chances are I don't think I have screwed up. And the reason to shout pause is so other people know that you are stopping the game, rather than trying to have an argument with the mod during gameplay. Q: I am confused about something that happened in game. A: Then ask questions, try to work out what allowed that to happen. If anyone has any other questions feel free to post them and I will answer them as best I can.
