  1. Sort of contest between me and Ross to create the most powerful adversary ever.
  2. The voting will finished tommrow at 3 pm Gmt, or when four or more people vote for or against. In the event of it passing 3 pm GMT tommrow without 4 people voting for or against time dialation is allowed...
  3. See the bolded bits...those are the contradictions... Anyway, we have already written off large part of the Economic system so I don't see why physics should be spared... Added to that the changes you are talking about are minute changes, which have no practical application.
  4. Britian invents the tank, then doesn't develop it at all...Far prefering the believe that the calvary is till powerful. Retech, its 60 odd years on and only a handful of countries have the Atom Bomb...Massive leaps forward are not insta copied by every other nation on the planet... Anyway, I think I will just increase the stats of the P-Jet, let you guess what I researched...means maybe 10 minutes every 10 days coming up with a new list of fictious technologies, as well as some real ones...but I think I can manage that, considering that theft is a crime...
  5. Then people just steal it when it is completed... Anyway I will negotiate with Sere about the exacts, since currently they are just off the top of my head figures...projected outcomes from my research teams and counter intelligence services And, oddly enough, I don't want to make it look like I am just inventing crap...it takes a fair old amount of time to work out these technologies in physical terms...
  6. Switzerland begins project: смејати се наглас As subsquent to this around fifty other research projects are set up, all with the intent of improving the P-Jet, or at least seeming to, thus rendering technology theft more difficult as some of them are completely jokes of methods. Oddly enough I am not putting any scientists on the ones that I know are complete jokes. Anyway research projects are thus, 5 years to complete each one(goes for me as well), realistically each should cost about 10 billion Dollars a year, since I am only doing about 5, with 45 other offices with words on a door, it is perfectly within my capacity: Newtonian Battery: 10% power storage increase Confinement Stabiliser: 50% reduction in X-Rays Micro-Tesla Field: 30% speed boost Push Off Bracket: 5% speed increase Magnetic Monopoles: 80% speed increase Heavy Element Recoil: 10-80% speed increase Nuclear Fuel Cell: 20% power storage increase Heavy Element Recoil: 80% Less fuel consumption Twin Engine Physics: 50% less fuel consumption Neutron Bonding: +100% Speed Polarized Hull Plating: 40% more damage resistance Magnetised Fuel Pods: +10 minutes flight time per pod, up to 8. 7. Vote for the manipulation of the timeline in any fashion. (Accepting the linear progressing of 1 second to 1 second to not be a manipulation) 0/2 Against.
  8. Vote on Time Travel: 0/1 Against.
  9. Can do, probably around 8 hours time... Depending on how vengeful I feel  =P

Hmmm, I think you got my one wrong: Archi: Who do you think you are kidding Mr Retech, if you think we're on the run. We are the boys who will stop your little game, we are the boys who will make you think again. Cause who do you think you are kidding Mr Retech, when you say Switzerland is done. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEDWDAMRBeU&feature=related Also, point of order, the P-Jet only accelerates at 30 odd meters a second. Would take around 100,000,000 seconds...or 3 years and about 3 months...to reach lightspeed...ignoring relativity. Reaching its crusing speed of 1,400 meters of second...or 1.4 Kilometers per second... just about a minute and a half after take off. Approximately 6000 miles per hour Which is slower than America's current air planes, such as: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NASA_X-43 So its not really overpowered =P I don't think I have ever dropped 'uber' bombs... dropped kinetic bombs, but thats not really uber...
  11. Lol. Of course, that might be a little hypocritical of me. Very hypocritical.
  12. Not really. Just stating that we don't care publically.
  13. Wanna form the World Union of Uninterested Nations, Rocco? Nations that don't care what the UN says...no other commitments.
  14. Switzerland is highly critical of Senator Stevenson, and jokingly agrees, while Senator Ron Paul is over for a visit as a special guest of King Archi, to nuke America if he ever gets elected.
  15. Wow...at this rate the UN will get nothing done at all.
  16. Actually its 4% inflation....Your nation comes wealthier overtime though...so it doesn't make a massive difference, as far as one can see...
  17. Yeah of course, though your currency will be consistantly worth less(Though if everyone else devalues their currency at the same rate it won't actually matter)
  18. Switzerland will remove any weapon system, including the UN's one, as stated before.
  19. Well... As an equation your Real GDP would be: (GD%-PG%-SLI)*GDP=RGD Then your spending money would be 1% of your RGD Where: GD% = Gross Domestic Product Growth Percent PG% = Population Growth Percent SLI = Standard of Living Index GDP = Gross Domestic Product RGD = Real Gross Domestic Product So, using the above example: (104%-0%-2%)*52000 = 50960 Or 0.98*52000 = 50960
  20. Retech, I honestly don't know... I have been trying to think of a way round it... The best way I have come up with is a Standard of Living Index: You start with everyone's GDP at 2009 levels as the base figure...so 0% The Index is set at 0, and every 4 days (2 years) it increases by 1 point. The amount your GDP growth is above the Index represents devaluation. Then you subtract the percentage that you population has grown(or add the percentage your population has shrunk by) to the devaluation figure. Then this devaluation figure represents how much your currency is actually worth. So.... Say I started with a GDP of 50000 and a currency worth 100 Dollar(2009) After 4 years I have grown my GDP to 51000 Thus my currency would still be worth 100 Dollar(2009) If though, I grew my GDP to 52000 Then my currency would be worth 98 Dollars(2009) But if I then didn't grow my GDP at all for another 4 years Then my currency would be worth 100 Dollars(2009) again. It could all be handled by a spreadsheet, possibly even a computer graphic...so it wouldn't be hard, and its not like we are not gonna keep our GDP up to date, now is it?
  21. You could just veto the space weapons thing....
  22. No progress has been made in any case...
  23. A gallon of gas in 1964 was pretty much the same as a gallon of gas in 2009. Put it in your car...drive it... $1.29 per ounce was the price of silver per ounce in 1964. So 5 and a bit quarters would by you an ounce of silver or 5 and a bit gallons of fuel In todays money 5 quarters($1.29) buys you half a gallon of fuel 1 ounce of silver, today, buys you 6.5 gallons of fuel. So, as you can see, the value of the quarter has gone down by roughly 600%, compared with the 1964 quarter. Thus today's currency is devalued. So unless we take that into account we will be throwing around vast sums of money, without properly devaluing it... So living standards, according to the price of silver, have increased by 30%, where as GDP has increased by somewhere between 350% and 900% Can you see where I am coming from with the idea that we can't just rely on GDP...
  24. Just remember to send the details to Sere... 1964, 1 quarter will buy 1 gallon of gas. Quarter in 1964 is made of 90% silver. So, given that the current price of silver is 17 dollars, that quarter is actually worth 3 dollars 11 cent, in todays money. Todays Gas prices are somewhere between 2.6 dollars per gallon and 3 dollars per Gallon. So actually, only between 41 cents and 11 cents has be taken off of the price of gas. If that is normalised to a percentage that is 13.6% So in 45 years the real price of things has only dropped by 13.6%, as opposed to the 370% decrease that GDP increase would indicate... (370% increase is actually based off of 1973 to 2009, since I can't find the GDP for 1964...however its pretty conclusively more than 13.6% when you consider that for 1950 to now there has been a 900% increase...)
  25. Underpowering at the moment...Did you know that in 1925 2 US cents were worth the same as 1 modern dollar? Those two cents were devalued by the inverse of the GDP growth... If it doesn't take into account this fundermental fact then in 95 days time, the economy will be far over powered....roughly 50 times over powered...
