I like dimbats a lot more for some reason. I think the ghostly guy looks awesome. If you add skin color I believe it'll throw it off. Keep it the way it is. You pulled together some really nice elements, and even though its dark, keep the sun. Seriously for all of you who've seen "Pitch Black" then the idea really works. And you did a very good job on the shading, a job very well done. Keep up the good work and I believe we'll see a lot of good things from you.

I have an awesome idea for this, but since I well for lack of a better word suck at doing pixel sigs. If anyone who's having a go want to know my idea just pm and i'll tell you.

I believe a simple number is just fine, but only if you give a logical explaination behind that rating. Such as: 10/10. I really like the colors and point of view you took it from. The blending from item to another is just simply great. ect. ect...... So really yes it would stop such spammers as cell_snake who simply leaves a 10000000/10 rating because he hasn't got a grasp on the concept of a constructive response. So its all in the writer. As myself I give an overall rating and then give a very constructive response. I'll admit there are times when I don't explain myself as I should but sometimes its just better to leave some things left unsaid. Nice guide though, I believe that if this is made sticky and the mods can make newcomers to the forums think its a rule, then we should have no problem implementing this.

Seen the layout before, except the background was black, it came up in a popup, and you changed the picture. Nice but the concept is not yours.

Its a start, I'll be the optimistic one here since everyone else is so negative. Anyways just to let you know the max size is 300 px by 150 px and the max file size is 30,000 KB. Now a good way to get that down in size is to of course remove some of the pictures and I suggest purchasing Adobe Photoshop. Now if you are unsure how to check file size, when you save the picture. Go to the place you saved it and just put your cursor over the icon, and the file size will appear. Now thats if you're saving in jpeg or any other format. If you are using Adobe Photoshop, you can use "Save for Web" which will display the file size right in the corner. You should look for Adobe Photoshop on E-Bay, also Adobe Photoshop comes with ImageReady 7.0, which is used for animations. Wow cell_snake do you think you could post more then 5 words. Anyways, I really like it. Nice detail, good colors, and overall unique. A job very well done. I would do like the_jeppoz said make the borders on the arms stronger, they seemed almost blurred. Though I do really like what you've got there. So I'll go with a 9.5/10, fix the borders on the arms and it'll be 10/10. Very unique, thats what I like to see.

NO it looks better with the transparent background... with the white background it looks well for lack of a better word like crap. go with the transparent one.

YOu talking about my current sig with the girl in it? lol cause it thought you were talking about the pixel one... yeah I redid the background, brushing and got rid of the line work except for the bar code which now will be on all my sigs that are abstract or have brushing like this one. Oh and Zim thats my girlfriend. Tropical doesn't neccessarily mean girly. Tropical can mean anything, like kind of peral harborish. Though I still really like it Avanor, very good job on it.

Very cool jeppoz... It looks very, surreal would be the word I'm looking for. I like it alot. You really got yourself a good capture there. Found something that is beautiful and has a great blend of colors, as well as not being blurry. That is a very awesome piece you've got there.

10/10 I really like how you have dark and brightness brought together. Very well rounded and seems to fit perfectly. I really like it. Not to mention it just looks badass in general.

I was about to tell you to remove the stone path cause umm... it through of the perspective on the sig. but i like it so far.
