Mmm maybe, I guess it depends on the band. Most mainstream artists are controlled by the record companies so you might get one or two good songs on a 12 track record. The bands I am in to are of much better quality and you really need to get the whole album. It tells a story, its a window into the mind of the lyricist. when desperate i do buy when i have exausted all ways and means.. or if i just really like the song

Every single fansite in the entire world already implements this. How can you view a site if you cannot read the files? You'd just get "Access Denied". You, me, your Aunt Ethel or Jagex could scan for viruses, trojans or derogatory comments about how Andrew Gower eats his toast. If you're so uptight about viruses, I think you should install some antivirus application and stop installing viruses from the Internet (they do not install themselves, this goes doubly so for keyloggers). I recommend Avast or AVG, they're free for home use and very good. They also won't break your PC in the way that Norton AV will. I am 100% as secure as possable the reason i said this was because of this a FTP access allows jagex to see ALL FILES.... trust me.. there are files that this forum uses that you know NOTHING about. Why? because its done server side. Also a site could HIDE stuff in a unlisted dir. on there site.... i have done it on my small webserver :\ I also think by given jagex the ability to read all files gives them a chance to catch things that the site admins might not.

couppla thing i think need to happen/change Sites should respect Jagex and not release a guide.. a hints/basic info.. ok... nothing more. If user is caught JAgex would have there ip and RSN and have the option to punish. By allowsing certain sites to have "official" forums they can reduce there manegment burden (of course there would be require Jmods and Fmods allowed to moderate) (this would allow people like me who pretty much use only tip.it and others and refrain from using the current "official forums" to have the features of, Sigs, e-mail notification, and personal pm's) Are given three types of quest guides. Fansites can not promote any sort of ILLEGAL things such as hacks, char sharing. or account selling/rl selling 3 Jagex will create a better client. which has access to the official fansites. calculators. and skill planners. Jagex may allow *official* clients (honestly using Swift switch is using a "official" client and RS can't detect that its there. (why do you ask? because Swift switch does the SAME THING the "official" client does. it uses the rendering engine that Internet explorer uses. this is commonly done in the "mod" community to create "tabbed browsing" and other enchancments 4 Jagex will make ALL features available in the IE browser aviliable. (the only things not avilable is MIDI and Sounds since they use a "active scripting code" this will remove vunerabilitys that IE has. (Firefox even those vunerabilitys found are not ever a threat since they are patched within 3-5 days on average (compaired with the JPG vunerability bug found in MSIE which had a "proof of concept" (this is where somone demonstraits the vunerability but does not release it) to microsoft and they did not fix it for 5-14 months))

i agree music brains is simple to use and give you alot of options in a simple easy to use package and tunes i donwload (legal or otherwise) get run though it to tripple check

problem is.. it wont work like that unless your limited on how far you can travel or what worlds you could login to... wont happen its the way the world use to work just because people were for the most part semi self sufficient.. but today with mass transit across state lines.. :(

copy = store your drive can read DVD's but can't write them if you want to write to a DVD buy a new drive unfortunatly thats the only solution :(

no... i doubt that.. they might give you the option of putting your HOME in a diffrent CITY.... but it will i think operate simalar to how this works..

speaking on poh's has anyone noticed they have JUST ABOUT all the tech figured out on how to do it the recent update of the new fight arena proves that they can make a "unique" area for each person.. i am sure they did not make 50-200 spaces for people to fight in

1 first... are you using the downloadable client? 2 is it only happening when rs is playing 3 are you on a modem or cable.. 1 if you are using the client disreguard. if your going to the web page... get some virual help. 2 if its only happening when playing then 3 might be your problem 3 if your on a modem and it only lags when playing try switching to low detail if this helps then your modem might be the culprit. most PCI modems use a small bit of the computers cpu (this makes the modem cheaper) to make the modem work. this means when your cpu is at 100% and using alot of data for rs the modems not getting the minumim for its correct operating ability and dropping the speed. the other thing is your phone line might have a fault? if your on cable.. or dsl or other high speed.. i really don't know what to do.. have fun

i dont want to hear another mac pc war... i'll just say this: Use macs for professional art work (ie photo and video editing) Use pcs for entertainment purposes actually.. its gonna be a battle of the o/s's soon.. mac is gonna work on a pure intel chip linux works on mac and intel chips windows owrks only on intel chips soon it will be the os not the computer that determins what happens btw FYI for people.. all the computer o/s's mentioned use UNIX as the origin... even windows (from 2k onward (excluding me(i think)

how do u know they dont use midi? somewhere on the runescape site it had instuctions to get your music working, something to do with midi, they said nothing about wave. i think they use midi, but if u can show me how they r using wave or some solid information on the matter go for it. besides wave is huge. i mean midi as in midi files (and i sorta ment RSC) go to your windows directory c:\windows\ or c:\winnt\ look for a directory called ".file_store_32" look inside. those are the game files for runescape in there, there is 5 wave files sound0.wav sound1.wav sound2.wav sound3.wav sound4.wav play them......... you will see that they are the sounds for rs.... btw.. i have all midi music muted on my computer but you will also see the midi files there jingle0.mid jingle1.mid jingle2.mid jingle3.mid jingle4.mid those are the in game songs. all the other files are worldmap rsc and rs2 game files

well i can tell ou one thing rs does not use midi its uses wave files and Jagex decided to support ie as the default.. it doesw not matter if your using sun or ms java in IE. it still will play sounds... it uses though "active scripting" which is also used fyi to make you click the cuttons to play from the main page (you can't just jump to the server) turn off active scripting (and 1-2 other settings) and you can't hear sound but you jump to the list every time..... but firefox is more secure.. its more stable. its in every way better cept for sound. now rsc might have had sound because of a midi player or something simalar.. but... its not they way to go.... and as soon as jagex figures out how to play sounds in firefox you will probabbly see IE useage decline with all the users

then tell me how to configure it to accept the tab button

lol.. can people not understand that MS java only works in IE and WONT RUN AT ALL IN FIREFOX!!!

as i said before. download the old ms java and install if you use ie only for runescape then your ok if not get firefox (which is more secure and safer)

get a ipod :) or get one of those new mp3 cd car players.. i saw one at wallyworld (wallmart for the uninitiated) for like $100 or so it takes flash drives and plays mp3's on them.. and has inputs for other mp3 players to play though the deal..

It doesnt matter what browser you are using MSJava with. Its a cross platform system and you can still be infected by the byteverify virus even when using firefox. how many... honestly i don't see it being a possability.... java needs a way to execute... only using ie for java = only IE can be a path to infection

MS java is ok as long as you have firefox to use for browsing and only use IE for rs... i mean come on..

ok.. your on windows XP.. and i am sorry to say that the only reason in installs MS JAVA is because the basica java does not understand the TAB KEY (when entering your username/pass when logging on) head here http://java-virtual-machine.net/download.html and download from tehre.. install and upgrade.. you should be ok btw get mozilla firefox so that you just use that to surf the web and IE for rs only :)
