So because 5 people here didn't get any other r drop than full helm you assume they don't drop these? Personally I've never met a single person who got d half shield from a man, but I don't go doubting tip.it or other rs sites are wrong... If this was about being a believer or an atheist I wouldn't blink my eyes, but going insane over a frikkin r drop makes no sense :D

Yeah best advice I can give is: invest in your gear. It makes assignments so much easier if u got decent defence and weapons... I prefer r defender over a shield/book but u should see what suits you best. Good luck!

I got a great armor set I use for Slay, so I guess I don't need armor. It also seems lame to spend cash to buy XP... I don't want this game to lose its challenges.

Well red was 45.8mil at most, this halloween. Now they dropped 8mil again :( So I guess I should have sold :D

I've done 30 clues in 7 weeks now, mainly because I'm getting slay to 85 asap. I've leveled 6 levels so far (halfway to 82 atm) and I get a clue almost every assignment (if the mobs drop clues ofc ;)) This is the best ones I got, all +500k I guess this gives you 20% chance of getting a 500k+ reward :) not bad if u ask me for 15mins of work

As for the bolts/arrows question: no id. I just unlocked it so I would have it unlocked and didn't make one broad arrow/bolt so far so idk. The sword is something I never even thought about getting. I'm getting my att, str & def to 91 now to then keep meleeing with whip on "lash" that way I raise the three evenly and don't need to work with d scim whatever :)

I just spent almost 24mil on a green h'ween mask. I still have a red one in bank too. Together they are 70mil worth, should I just keep the masks till they raise again in price, or is their a better option to invest money in. I make 2-3mil a day, so don't worry about me needing the cash. I just don't know what to do with all the money, and leaving it in bank without using it seems stupid... Thx for a reply

Powermine. U get 50K xp easily. Or you can double that using clay pickaxe. I personnaly would do that. Get 20pts from Stealing creations, get a morphic tool, make it into pick and powermine. Should take less than an hour of mining this way...

I always wore blue haloween mask back with saradomin armor. I usually wasn't skilling but killing lessers in karamja volcano so that was a nice outfit imo

Listen patrick: I don't know where you are from but in the Western civilized world people say thanks and don't complain about boredom when someone points out some ideas. Also: double posting ain't allowed here, especially not with a 4min interval in between. Ok ontopic now: since you're a free player it's hard to make things easy for you without leveling. My idea would be to level your mining to L70 so you can mine adamant ores. That's how I got my money in the past. You could also do like Umoria said and make steel bars. This way you get your smithing up which is usefull if you would even consider becoming member. Mithril bolts are good money and are needed alot. You could also gather if you don't care too much about XP. Cowhides & raw meat sell good. So you could just farm those south of falador. It's close to bank and very fast and you will make over 5k per run... If you're patient you might get rich just of gathering. Don't complain about boring stuff in free world: that's why eventually everyone becomes paying member after a while...

I agree with everything you guys say, but: how can u raise summon if you don't have charms? Where do you get charms? Either by farming certain mobs OR by slaying. I'm 81 slayer and I only have 60 summon. Why? Well because I raised my slay to L80 before summon even excisted. So now I can't use the bunyip either simply because I don't have the charms to level up summon. So it's kinda stupid advice to give someone: raise summon if it's impossible to raise without slaying

Definately worth it, I spent all points on blocking assignments, then getting the helmet, then the ring and now the bolts/arrows. It makes slayer more varied and it's fun to range Kurasks from safe spot instead of meleeing them :P

I even dislike merchanters in general... Why play this game if you're not planning on gathering XP? And imho free is easy enough to make good cash, although I don't think runemining is the best way. I got L86 mining myself and I found it better cash mining addy/mith ores than rune ores but it's your call ofc. Good luck

I blocked kalphites, hellhounds, steel dragons & the guys at bandos room. Not sure what they're called, but I hate the long walk + the fact they jump you all the time if you forgot to wield holy items :s Anyway, I think iron dragons are quite easy since u can cbow them with antipots and hope for the visage drop.

I always range these. Many safespots so easy to knife/cbow em... If u do decide to melee em, replace the snakeskin boots by mystic boots (better mage def)... And wth do u wear range amulet when meleeing??? Doesn't make sense, either wear fury or glory? And yh magic attacks hit hard, nothing to do about I guess :(

I always use the wall spot, u just get them stuck at the beginning of the wall and range them. I prefer knives here over bolts since they're low cb and die faster this way...

I always have over 20mil backup cash and close to L81 slayer now, I still don't use cannon. I think cannon is usefull if you up smith making cballs but buying the cannon balls is just silly imo. Save your cash for XP you have no choice but to buy (like prayer, summon & construction) Even a godsword isn't needed if you ask me. I've finished 78 assignments in a row now, the last 5 weeks and I still prefer whip/r defender over anything else... Good luck: and yes, blocking your assignments is definately prior over the helm... I'm quite sure u r lucky... I've never gotten a dragon drop so far...

I've been at the dust devils like 15x for slayer... Always around 150 of them per assignment. Now I wonder how many times you can get a d drop here? Personally I know nobody who ever got a d chain drop from Dust Devils. Any people here who did get one? And if so, what would you say the chance is for one? 1 out of 2000 or something?

I think it was 56.5 xp per ore but I think it's better to smith with the clay tools you get from stealing creation! Stealing creation guide :)
