  1. Gratz on the pk'ing skills :) I'm not a pker myself, but it sounds like fun, if you're good at it
  2. Well not totally agreeing on this one. Attack makes you hit the target more often, and str hits it harder. So it's more logic to train att to L99 & then str, no?
  3. I have no id what it is with the drop rates. I'm obviously very unlucky when hunting for rare drops. For example: I've never ever gotten a dragon drop (only 1 pair of d boots...) nor any other decent drop... I try and do at least 3 assignments a day to get my slay to L85 soon. Done over 150 assignments this month and best drops I got was 3 pairs of r boots at Nechs in one run. On the other hand I got two god dhide bodies this week (zammy & sara) worth 2.5mil together from clues. I don't understand why many of my friends who slay half a much as me, get such good drops where I get the regular stuff... I've stopped wondering or breaking my head over it. I hope my luck changes one day :)
  4. I played Lotro for a year (Lord Of The Rings Online) and the price per month was 12. I payed little over 200 for a lifetime account. I got bored after a year having 4 L60 accounts ( max level ) and best gear on 2 of the chars. I sold the account with profit, since I was extremely rich compared to most players. I couldn't imagine rs being as expensive as Lotro since a month's fee is half of most online games. Ofc the graphics aren't the same as lotro and most MMORPG's but also Runescape has way more cheaters on it. Lotro was one of the best protected games I've ever played. Macroing and all was merely impossible because the game was this huge and you couldn't pin on a certain creature in one particular zone. (like everywhere in rs). If Runescape would make a lifetime account, it should be between 100-150 to beat the other gamedevelopers...
  5. I'd guess its just an awesome picture. But people look way too far into the pictured Jagex releases..Every time. I agree... Freaks! :P
  6. I noticed in the Herblore section at Skill Guides the secondary item Papaya only has this explanation: "Pick from a Papaya Tree that you grew using the Farming skill." But you can also obtain the item via your fruitbat familiar now. I hope this can be changed :) Thx in advance, Son Of Judas
  7. I bought a green mask two weeks ago, for 23.5mil. Just because the masks dropped some mils suddenly (my red dropped to 38 mil and was 45 mil the week before :s) I bought a green one, to sell later with some mils profit. I didn't need the cash at the time so was worth investing. I hate merchanting, but this is just one item with 100% pure profit since in the end rares always rise. Green mask is 25.8mil atm, but I would wait till it reaches 30mil. Although I got a feeling that could take a while. So should I just sell now and take the +2mil profit or keep it banked for a while and see where it goes from time to time?
  8. I always sell avatoes... Fish pots are quite useless if u don't fish alot and they don't sell. So selling those and buying irits/harralanders is the best I think. Why these? Because the second ingredients are soooo easy to get. Just buy eyes of newt in the shop, or buy chocolate bars in the lumbridge castle cellar and grind them :) Good luck :)
  9. Bad idea... Just common sense, if it's too easy to get, people won't pay your price. Much easier to get the vials in no time

I've powermined from L80-86 and did it at Al Kharid. I get 30k xp easily and if nobody tries to steal my spot I get to 40K if I remain focussed...
  11. Does tip.it have a topic where u can weekly see where the penguins are located? I've searched the forums fast but don't seem to find anything like it. Thx for a reply :)
  12. Merre replied to Our_Moon's topic in Help and Advice
Well just do like I do: whack all kinds of dragons while slaying and then craft the hides? 100% profit? Or are u really aiming to just increase your total craft xp? Unless you have all skill maxed I couldn't see why you would waste more time & money on a L99 when u got other skills to train to the max :wall:
  13. Depends whether you wanna make cash or have certain things in mind to level up. Me personally I like farming so I put 100% on maple logs. I keep the crushed nests for herblore, I fletch the logs myself with clay needle & I plant all the decent trees. The other percentage is set on catching raw fish which I sell immediately to recover some of my invest cash :)
  14. Just for you babe. Also, armor zombies? No id what he means by this, awaiting an explanation :ohnoes:
  15. I still prefer doing abby runs... Dunno why but I prefer choosing what runes I make and not let the random decide...
  16. I agree: I'm doing the same but onyx is rediculously expensive imo... Anyway, I think it's the best item to save em for :)
  17. Ok, won't respond to the question about the rs account recovery but I got some small advice to give about the temp of your processor. I got a collegue who also suffers fast heatening of his pc when gaming. I got two pieces of advice that are free: never place your pc next to the heating of your room and leave some space between the backside of your tower and the wall so the air can circulate propperly. You could also open the case a few centimeters and let a ventilator blow fresh air in it. That way dust can't stick into your case and it gets fresher air than the air in the room where the pc is placed. If the aid above doesn't help there are special gaming cases available. I got one and it cost me about 90. It has 4 vents (and also some stupid changing leds color things they call case-tuning, but that's silly ;)) and my pc feels cold when I put my hand on top of it... I hope this helps
  18. I got 86 mining. And to be honoust: I never mine in P2P... I wait till my membership runs out and then I force myself to powermine till the next level. After reaching the level I pay for a new period of members... I think mining is a free skill since there aren't member ores or anything and useless to train in P2P, but that's my opinion...
  19. I totally agree here. Get that quest done. It makes your slaying life so much easier!
  20. Bah first time ever to try this. I did the guthans way and never suffered any problems. Still had 5 rocktails left when I died, but ran out of p pots... I guess I should've take less food and more pots. I managed to make it till wave 60. So painfull when yer close and don't make it :'(
  21. You did 100 blue dragons? And you expect to get a clue already? I've been slaying 50k Slaying xp every single day in a row. I've done 112 assignments non-stop this month, so I've gotten alot of clues. But don't expect to get a clue every 100 kills. If you're lucky you get one every assignment (where the assigned creatures are clue droppers, otherwise you won't get a chance ofcourse  ). An assignment can vary from 55 iron dragons to 192 fire giants. Not every creature is a clue dropper and not every clue dropper will 100% drop a clue per assignment. Am I lucky coz I got 38 clues out of 112 assignments? Not sure, but I don't think so. I'm not a clue hunter, I'm not killing mobs for clue scrolls. I'm killing mobs to get slay XP & the clue drops are just a nice extra. Nothing more. Just don't think about clues and you will got one in the end. Good luck!
  22. Well to be honoust I never spent a second on Level 1/2 clues. Simply because I usually don't kill low creatures except maybe the banshees & aberrants, but I never bother doing those clues. First of all: I'm too lazy to buy all the items needed for the emote action things. Like u got one something like 'do a raspberry in fishing guild while wearing blue chaps,r warhammer & elemental shield'. I got a bank-section with all clue-like things and simply can't be bothered to get more of these items to get 20k rewards in the end :s Dunno if it's worth for lower cb-leveled players do actually do these clues?
  23. It's a good thing Jagex tries to do something about this. For people who skill like me and got decent levels but work hard for their money, it's awefull to notice some *%@&'s abuse the system to get easy cash... :shame:
  24. No ofc not, as I said it's pure math. I got 20% very good rewards, so who says someone else wouldn't get about the same chances of good rewards? I do realize it's still random, and yes: I've gotten rubbish rewards but that's just how the dice rolls. Anyway, you won't get extremely rich of doing clues but I do belive it's a nice adding of some gp's a week if u do 'em. I think they're great fun and treasurehunting acts as a break from slaying :)
  25. Wrong? How can you say it's wrong? It's pure math: I did 30 clues and got 5-6 +500k rewards so that makes 20% chance of a good drop for me? I will repost my stats after 100 clues, but now I did 6 more in the meantime and guess what: 2 more rewards of +500k... The others were rubbish hardly hitting 75k value. But: the zammy body sold 1.561Mil, so is that worth the efforts? Definately! Zammy body sold over 1.5 mil here :) Here total inventory was worth 910k, so CptBaker, I don't get your point :) I will keep doing these, even if you get 10 in a row with rewards that are only worth 50k or something, it's still worth risking your chance, no? The average clue takes me 15-20minutes, so I don't know. Having a decent chance to get 1mil in 20 minutes seems fair enough, especially since cluehunting ain't as boring as non-stop woodcutting or merching... SOJ
