  2. you stoleded macs people templeate thingy, the 5 circles, OF DOOM-NESS! where are you planning to take this? like whats gonna happen? PJB21
  3. oh my god.... I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! I love the new cartoony style.... (can you make me a wierd avatar like that ) :XD: maybe i just can =) what would you like? PJB21
  4. *sigh* more EDIT: its my bigerist pixel canvas* to date =) PJB21 *its not really a canvas rather a mass of space in a hyperphetical digital screen and is represented via a formation of light particals. it is really a concept and a space, an empty space, filled with light. hmm...
  5. i shall make sertain of that! it is now my quest!
  6. just letting you all know im working on a pixel image 300*450 pixels =) so yeah nice and big. just one character atm but that may change depending... PJB21
  7. you used apophysis right? then touched up in photoshop/paint shop pro? looks fairly decent, nice action. the bg if rather plain, if you have the original apophysis image then you could put that on a new layer (deleat bg) then have it again a layer below and use some effects on it to liven up the bg. 8. i was looking at the tree and thought to myself, hmm, im sure ive done a tree like that recently, i looked down the post and remember it was my linework :XD: colourwise i suggest you keep to the lower half of the colour pallete, the greyer section, bright colours are foten sickening and, well just try not to use them to much. the grass doesnt look very grass-like, dunno how you could improve tho, im no good at texturing myself >< [OFFTOPIC]just wondering what made you know it was my linework? the style or you'd seen me post it before?[/OFFTOPIC] PJB21
  9. cool, you coloured it =) and yes all linework is avalable for colouring. heh, i should make a colouring book =P i really should... hmm... anyway, its a good attempt, im asuming its one of your first. some pointers if you dont mind. firstly work on your shadding, because at the moment there doesnt seam to be a great deal of it. despite what other people may say, dont use the spray can, ever. also rangom pixels in random places dont look that great either, unless they are of a very similar colour, for example you have bright green pixels on the brown earth, im not sure what you were trying to achive by that but it looks weird. i like the horns howver a personaly rule of mine is never use pure black or pure white. but thats probably just me. the sky could be improved on, make it more grey and darkk imo, and add colouds. also, if you wish, add a few stars, but as i said dont use the spray can. i admit there is quite a few things to improve still, but. hang on ill find my first attempt at anything pixel related, it was a colouring in like yours. yeah its jpeg still kicking myself >< as you can se ive come a long way and so can you if you try hard and persaver (sp?) PJB21
  10. looks very nice, love that arrow =) that said the background looks plainer than it should be. not sure how you could change that tho. keep with the forst idea, dont show the sky. if you take the bg untill almost black (just above, never use pure black or pure white in a sig) hmm, dunno if this is too much but maybe a small battle going on in the bg, several of them, nothing exiting, or like a small insignificant band of pkers, nothing too nooby or too great, and dull colours, adds depth, makes more interesting while not taking away from th foreground. does look good tho, and will be good to see it finished. one other thing, the people look too tanned, sorta orange. PJB21
  11. they really need a good thumbs up thingy... >_< meh i feel a crappy pixel comming on... be back in a sec sorry i cba to shade it =P boy or girl? you decide... anyway, yeah milkshape is very cool, once your used to it =) PJB21
  12. an account on 2 forums under different names, many people have it =)
  13. P0MGz!!!!1!!!111! It's an iron!!!!! Seriously, I'm not wuite sure what that handle on the blade is supposed to be. I'd have to say that the biggest problem is that your blades don't really look sharp. I think a way to fix this would be to make seperat polygons for the blade edge and for the rest of the sword. personaly i thought it looked more like an arrow quiver, a flat one o0 ill try what you suggested about the blade in the future, im not the kind of guy who goes and changes things once ive done something, especialy if its fairly major, i may as well make a new model =P more the merrier =) i can make the blade more reflective, or more shiney anyway. ill do that and update the first post. the reason they are floating is because theres nothing obstructing your view of it. last night i was, however, thinking of making a small wooden plaque or something similar, so i may have a go at that and place it in the first post, it shouldnt take too long... hopefuly... also dont give up on ilkshape, have a look at tutorials, at first i didnt have a clue, ok i admit i didnt use many tuts mainly just explored, but thats my nature. as i said just look around theres alot of cleaver people out there and much information to be found. one tutorial i found useful can be found here even if you dont want to make guns theres still alot of useful information there on how to use it. PJB21
  14. woo for posative comments =) i used milkshape, like with my other model. basicly it was made triangle by triangle in a giant dot to dot in a 3d world encapsulated in a 2d screen. i like to make things sound more confusing than they are =) PJB21
  15. here it is, comments rate you know the drill =) PJB21
  16. last comment from him *sigh* some linework if you want PJB21
  17. ive tried blender, daz, anim8tor lots of free of cheap programs (in my price range). and i found i most liked milkshape, i like the freedom it gives you know you can change anything yourself and make anything providing you have the time =) as i said ive tried blender and others but thats using other peoples worl alot, which i dont like to do, i like to be origianl, or as much as you can be anyway. just downloaing the vid now, about to check it out, gimme a sec... ok that didnt work o0 doing youtube now... argh its not working. recently updated my pc wityh new harddrive and everything so yeah it doesnt have much of the stuff it used to have and its all very complex, well, just differet i guess. meh. meh either way im sticking with milkshape for the time being, untill i find that Russian edition =P also with alot of 3d programs its like doing a shape then modyfying it, i dont partiuarly like that either, i know im weird but yeah thats just me =P PJB21
  18. use this: just gimme credit for the linework PJB21
  19. the way i use milkshape i make every polygon my self, and theyre all triangles. it costs like $30 so nothing top range but its decent. another note on the amount of polys, the more you have the bigger the file is and the slower everything reacts, in most 3d models, for example used in games, they try to keep the number of polys as low as posable, for faster run times. whle this model, at the moment, couldnt be used for a game it could be changed to do so (but fairly complex) and so it would have a fairly low amount of polys, hence a faster run time. oh and a quick note fo those who care there are 1075 polys, so yeah there isnt a small amount. however theres probably as many triangles in a sword hilt as there are in a wing, so it may just be that they arent used in all the right places. meh. PJB21
  20. great great commic strip, very well drawn, very funny, just purely love it =) PJB21
  21. been playing about with some 3d modeling software (milkshape) and saw a comp on rsc challenging you to design a character, so i did, in 3d =) comments welcome, also feel free to rate /10 PJB21
  22. dude quite a few things for inspiration o0 the gun looks weiord, the but is facing one direction the barrel is twisted to face another o0 the legs look auqward, weird position, i can see the pose working out in rl, but how you drew it itjust looks.. weird. cloak's fairly cool yet longer on one side (his right) is that intentional? fairly cool otherwise =) PJB21
