ok, i didnt mean so much in the linework, but one you get on to shading colouring texturing etc. well i had a bit of time so i made this as an example of what i mean =) hehe, im quite proud of that, i kow linework isnt great, but it was done to shopw what i mean =) PJB21

my idea - do more of the mage, but entirly siloweted by the spell, with the frount of the worrior radiating from the glow, with fairly high contrast, withe spell is as yet part way through, maybe with that silloweted mage, show some detail around the edges so as you can still tell that it is a mage and to make it look more 3D. PJB21

i love the shading tenique, reminds me of a few pixel images ive done in the past. while you seam to have a very good grasp of the shading i do have some complaints. firstly that linework, sorry, but eww, practicly no perspective, very bent in places, the helm has a VERY crocked line running down the 'middle' umm, its a well, it could be better... secondly those colours! argh! like WAY to bright for my liking, its like blinding, way to bright, GAAAAH! please, down the staturation, please for my sanity if nothing else... ok i admit, i am a big fan or dark and morbid, monotone and greyscale, but still i think most people will agree that is a bit TOO vibrant. lol. it doesnt matter how much you know, as long as you think it looks good :wink: and no comments about the UB? oh come on... that took me well, between 10:30 and 11:25, with my dad telling me to get of the computer, enduring all that, just so as i could make this for you only to get it thrown back in my face :cry: lol, PJB21

woops, didnt post the underbanner, but its here now for you all to see =) you know why it looks so skinny?, well its cause when i watch widescreen movies its on a normal screen so its all squashed up =P nah, its just how i draw people, its my style =) i agree the neck is rather large =S i think ill need to change that in future images lol. when doing noses, on girls mainly this is relevent to, i dont think that normal size noses look well, personaly i think that girls are sorta tall and thin structure, while guys are more stocky, but still tall, its just how i draw and it is reflected in my work :wink: what you [depaxes] said about the time thiung is probably true, however it still took me a while to make (a good hour or two) but that said, i dont really see how using more time can help, i did what i did and thats how it turned out, its like just if i was to do it slower doesnt mean it will be better, it just means i have less of a day left o0 PJB21
