Have you ever wished that you could play runescape on your xbox or playstation? Sure you have! Well, maybe not. Well there are still some of you out there who want to. As you are aware of (or not), the xbox 360's controller has drivers that work with windows xp and vista. There are several games that allow you to use the controller with them the same way it would work on the xbox 360. There are also programs that allow you to use the xbox 360 controller as a mouse! What you will need: Wired xbox 360 controller OR Xbox 360 controller for Windows OR Wireless xbox 360 controller WITH the xbox 360 Wireless reciever If you have the wired xbox 360 controller, you'll need to download the drivers for it to work with windows. The wireless controller w/ reciever and windows controller come with a CD that has the drivers for you. Get the driver at http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/gaming/download.mspx Next, follow the installation instructions to set up the controller. Make sure the computer recognizes the controller is plugged in. How to find out if the controller is working: Click Start Go to Settings and then control panel. Click Game Controllers You should see the xbox 360 controller option available. Click it, and then click properties. Mess around with the joysticks, buttons, make sure every button lights up something in the window. It should work. If not, make sure the drivers are installed and everything is connected. If so, move on. How to configure the controller! First of all, the controller won't be able to do anything without a third party program. This is where this cool little tool comes in. ControlMK allows anything you plug in to your computer to be configured for just about anything. May it be a playstation, N64, or xbox controller (gl findind plugs to put them in to your PC), it can assign buttons and movement to act as any imput from your mouse or keybord. You'll need to install ControlMK. http://www.redcl0ud.com/controlmk Go there and download the latest version. It should be V0232. Once it is installed, make a fancy little shortcut onto your desktop. This needs to be running if you are to use the controller for runescape. This is how you should set up the controller. These are the following buttons that have been set up refer to. X Axies: Left stick, mouse movement Z Axies: Scroll wheel. Left up, right down X and Y Rotation: Right stick, arrow keys Button 0: A button, left click Button 1: B button, right click Button 2: X button (unused) Button 3: Y button (unused) Button 4: Left bumper (unused) Button 5: Right bumper (unused) Button 6: Select button (unused) Button 7: Start button, Mouse middle click (opens new tab) Button 8: Left stick click, Home (brings you to top of page) Button 9: Right stick click, End (brings you to bottom of page) After you configure the controller options, try it out. It works as a mouse! But make sure you hit save first, or all that hard work will just be wasted time. Now make sure all the options are as they are in the image or you might get a mouse that doesn't stop moving. Also, make sure that your controller is active and pluged in BEFORE you start ControlMK. Once the program is running and saved, minimize the window. It will go into the task bar with a small controller stick animation. This means the program is reading imput. If the controller stops working and the animation stops, right click it in the taskbar and hit "Start Recording Data" Some ways you can use this on runescape that are useful.. sort of Alching, just move pointer to that special spot and press A! Selling massave amounts of stuff to shop, just move mouse and press A pretty much anything that requires your mouse to not move alot that also invloces alot of clicking? Ok I used my system clock to test this. no prayer bonus, Piety lasted just under 2 mins for me, I have 76 prayer. No prayer bonus, the 15% atk str and def prayers lasted just over 1:05 for me, 76 prayer. Piety drains half as fast as all 3 15% prayers, so it is indeed worth it.

I decided to look up runescape on a popular gaming site, IGN. I clicked the Cheats section, seeing if they would be stupid enoguh to have auto sites on it, but I find this. Now the question I have is, does anyone fall for this or think it is real? Someone new to the game might, but have you ever done something a site said hoping to get something, only to find out that it is fake?

PS was good xp before the change, without points. Just wacking the monsters was great xp, but now that they changed it so you have to wack monsters more, you get half xp. That was worse part of update tbh

Technicaly, you can't report them if it is the same message every 30 seconds. It is easy to tyoe "selling steaks, 500each - wkw" faster then 1 every 10 secs, but if someone is useing an auto talker, it breaks both rule 1 and 6. Report under rule 1 because Jagex can see them spaming with it.

I asked Jagex about it once. You can only report them under rule 1 IF they are flooding. If they say the message once every 60 seconds or so, it is alright. But if they flood the chat with it, report for rule 1

It's standard metal armor. Why would it have a strength bonus? Bronze - Metal Iron - Metal Steel - Metal Black - Metal Mithril - Metal Admant - Metal Rune - Metal Dragon - Metal? Ain't it made out of dragon? I never thought of dragon as a metal, but it seems that it must be true because ranger dragon hide is made of dragon hide and so normal dragon armour must be a metal as it can't be made of hide as it would then be the same as ranger dragon hide. confused pl0x? Actualy dragon is more likely related to dragonkin and not made out of any dragon hides/bones/any other parts of dragons... arrows and darts are made of d bones :D (they are white not red) Nah arrows are made of dragon talons. And talons are another word for claws, which are infact bone. Your fingernails are bone, why shouldn't a dragons claw be bone?
