By that, I meant, during the event they are exclusive to it, and afterwards, they are available to everyone

Barbarian Assault Horn
Few questions, few answers.. 1. How many rounds does it take to fully charge the horn? 2. Is it more beneficial to just dump the horn charge for bonus xp, or to charge it to full? 3. Does the bonus xp work the same as xp from sof lamps? 4. Do the icons for the roles in BA get removed when you aren't in the game? I'm talking about the ones that appear under the hp ability tab.

Behind the Scenes- December
If the abilities from world event 2 are game changers, eg, balances, it would be fine to have them be exclusive to the people who unlock them during the event, but AFTERWARDS, they need to be easy to get.

Aside from the obvious SUBSCRIBE!!!!, I think a map without all of the icons on it looks... better?

Still, they need to do something to shields to make survivability more. Using a shield results in 50% less dps compared to 2h or dual wield, which SHOULD equate to 50% less damage taken, or even more.

Simple. Add soak to all other shields. DUR Lets start at 70 Base soak is 10% damage of 30% of your hits GWD shields should be part of the power set, so soak 10% of the damage, 30% of the time, and add the same damage boost the other armors have Blessed spirit shield would be 10/30 with a large amount of prayer bonus DFS would be 8/28, only because it already soaks a large amount of dragon fire T75 Spectral has a base of 20/40, with the added bonus of reducing damage by 60% if it hits for less than 10% of your total LP Ely, divine, arcane have a base of 10/30, but boost the prayer drain a LOT. So much, that they would actually be decent to use if you didn't have prayer points, but large enough for a trade off for the higher shields T80 dungeon shields, 40/60, reduces damage by 80% if it hits for less than 10% your total LP T90 barrows shields, 50/80, reduces damage by 90% if it hits for less than 15% your total LP

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
That, what Quyneax said, and T80 dual weild magic is superior to T90 dual wield melee and range in a few situations.

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
It is, and it should devalue it, even by a little bit. And who is to say it will be easy to get? Superior ports is very easy to get, but the time investment is HUGE.

Look at the armadyl battlestaff T78, slightly worse than chaotic/virtus, but it costs a lot more than chaotic staff... Because it can be bought When t85 ports weapons come out, people would have an option to skill for weapons rather than to pay large amounts of money for them. If you're crying about how T85 staff or wand would devalue a T80 staff/wand.. Well.. that is kind of how it is supposed to work. Just like how drygores devalued chaotics.

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
I'm torn On one hand, I'd like to have a useful level 85 weapon. On the other hand, I don't want useful equipment to be so easily obtainable. Chaotics are very useful, and they do take a fair amount of time to get. Yes, once you are 95+ you can get a chaotic an hour, or even less, but going from 1 to 80 for your initial 2m xp is HORRIBLY painful.

I really hope it is T85 2h weapons.

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
I'm inclined that it will fit between 4 hours for superior scrimshaws and 10 hours for superior ports. 6 or 8? Sounds about decent.

If you're going that way, then 99 capes shouldn't do anything for combat unless they are the atk/str/def/hp/pray/mage/range/summon capes.

I like it how you say "klin cape ruined fire cape" when it is the most blatant, obvious fact that it is an UPGRADE of the fire cape. le-sigh

I'm leaning on the side of the "dark lord" being the opposite of Seren. Assuming Zaros and Seren aren't related as in they were made by the elder gods Or even, it may be an elf who is evil and gained a lot of power, similar to the Mahajarat.

Barrows - Rise of the Six
When someone talks about the "welfare" gear of the time, its usually a large percentage below the BIC gear. Before slayer, welfare was addy. BIC was rune After slayer, same thing, however welfare would be a d scimy. Then, barbarian assault came out and then welfare was rune, though it didn't quite matter because many didn't do it for the torso Barrows came out, BIC was now ANY barrows armor. Yes, some parts had more value than others (spear, v helm, dh helm). Whip was still BIC melee weapon, while welfare was still dscimmy A bit after that, gwd came out, and banos and armadyl were now BIC dps gear. Barrows was still superior for defense, mainly because bandos and arma had negative stats in other classes At this point, welfare basically meant rune armor, mystic, and black hide with dscimy/staff/rcb. Rune cbow was still "best in class" for crossbows (and arguably range) until chaotics came. With the way EOC is setup, you really can't "welfare", because lower end armors aren't really up to par with things above them.

Barrows - Rise of the Six
The amount of time that it takes to get ports is the ideal amount of time it takes to earn something high end... It takes 3-4 months to get a full set of ports if you have ALL the required stats, if you play efficiently and don't just check once a day.

Barrows - Rise of the Six
The thing is, "best gear" back then was FAR more accessible than the "best gear" now. For rune armor and mystic, they were not very rare drops from very complicated bosses, they were BOUGHT from a store. Sure, rune plate and legs were VERY rare drops from something that was pretty hard to kill, but you would most likely end up mining or wc for the 200k to buy it. Same for mystic. Before slayer, it could only be gotten from the mages guild for 220k or something. Black dhide was unique in that it also required a high skill to make and couldn't be bought. Next, we got to barrows and whip class weapons. Whips required a high slayer lvl to get, but were fairly easy to farm. They also cost a fair bit of money, but nothing that was impossible to get Barrows was a tad hard, and could kill you if you were careless. On the other hand, you could do it in rune armor with air bolt if you knew what you were doing. Meaning, it was very accessible content.

I got 1k of them on my first spin. Then I was like "oh.. a rare drop.. couldn't I have had 200m? :("

I can almost say with 100% certainty that when they say things like that are against the rules, they mean something like this is against the rules.. ----- Using X as any single button 1. First X moves mouse to coords A from wherever mouse is currently, over an item 2. Second X right clicks 3. Third X moves mouse to coords B, on top of the "drop" button 4. Fourth X left clicks, dropping item ---- What would NOT be against the rules, would be having X move the mouse in a relative position to where it is currently. So, you could effectively create the same situation above, but it would be context sensitive. If the first step required you to have your mouse on top of the item in the proper location, that is FINE, because it is 1 input = 1 output, regardless of the input Now if they say that your mouse has to move in an analogue fashion, as if you were moving the mouse on your own, that is 100% BS and can not be enforced without making the use of a touch screen illegal. Why? Because unlike a mouse, a touch screen doesn't move from coords 100,100 to 100,105 by going 100,100 100,101 100,102 100,103 100,104 100,105, it goes RIGHT from 100,100 to 100,105 And that is the same thing mousekeys does. It moves the mouse in a predetermined direction for a predetermined distance, from one input. So unless jagex makes an announcement that "non-analogue methods for moving the mouse, be they software based (mousekeys) or hardware based (touch screens) are against the rules" they really can't say "this is ok, but this is not ok because yolo"... Yes, it is an unfair advantage, but it is an advantage that those who know about can take advantage of. Buying wealth via bonds is also an unfair advantage if you don't have money to buy them with, you see.

So what about tablets that have touch screens? What about holding the button down for a predefined amount of time in order to move the mouse X pixels? Kind of like how mouse keys work out of the box? Unless they specifically say "press your num pad button X times for however many pixels you want to move the mouse cursor" Regular mice don't even work like that.
