Dungeoning doesn't need more high lvl rewards. The T80 melee and range are the second best, while the shields and currently second best.. Plus most of the other stuff is very good. Charming imp, bonecrusher, zealots..

Theiving 80-90
Is pyramid plunder the best way to go about getting theiving from 80 to 90? If so, how should I go about it? Should I keep 1 space open when I loot the chests in case I get a scepter?

I'm not sure why it was a bad idea. Chatic crossbows were introduced through Dunge and Zaryte bow still commands a decent price. It kind of makes sense to divide them out like the tier 80 bows. One can be obtained through effort (chaotics), One through a lot of money (Zaryte), and the other through a bit of both (royal, you can buy the parts for a bit of cash but still need to brandish it on QBD's 4th form). And likewise with magic, however, the only t80 melee weapons are dungeon ones.

OSRS also has a barrows amulet drop in god wars that soaks damage. Old school is a separate game. Same company, same login, separate game. Deal with it.

Behind the Scenes - November 2013
Want to know how to 100% fix T90 weapons and make them ALL balanced? There are three ways to really do that, one of which is impossibly. The first and impossible way is to have all the t90 droppers drop t90 weapons. This can't be done. Had they released a single t90 boss to do this, it would have been perfect, much like barrows. The second would be to make all the T90 droppers drop the PARTS for the T90 weapons. This would have to be tweaked based on the difficulty of each boss. KK would drop an orb, a blade, or a stock at its current drop rate of drygores. Ascensions (high lvl ones) would drop the hilt, limbs, and staff bit, at its current rate of siglets, and vorago would drop.. i don't know, duct tape, with which you can use to put them all together, at its current drop rate of energy. The third, would be to have all the current T90 bosses drop everything, but at modified drop rates. KK would drop drygores as it does now, but has a rare chance, say, 1/500 of dropping an ascension or seismic weapon. Ascensions would drop drygores and seismics at say, 1/300, and vorago would drop ascensions and drygores at 1/80. Current drop rarity would stay the same for everything from its main dropper, but be much rarer, but not impossibly rare to get through other means. Why any of this? T80 weapons (with the exception of 3 items) are TOTALLY BALANCED BY MEANS TO GET THEM. Again, with the exception of dual wield magic, bow, and 2h bolt.

I don't think they consider the t90 power armor as anything other than something that the insanely rich will use.. Because that is how it is more or less. Anything that turns to dust, nobody will use unless they have money to burn. Regardless, the unbalance between t90 magic melee and range can't be ignored.

If you don't mind, what does BIS mean? Anyway, if they are going to make the top 4 magic weapons in the game combine into a T90 2h weapon, they really need to do something about the drop rate of the t90 1h. For zarytes and virtus wand, it is common enough a drop AND able to be duoed. The only thing thats needed to make it on par is to give Nex an instance. Say, 1m an hour. Or even not money. Why does KK have an instance for free, but vorago doesn't? And nex doesn't even have one? For drygores.. Nothing really needed to change. KK works and is able to be duoed with a free instance. Vorago, on the other hand, NEEDS to scale down more. The 5 people with max gear to even get in the door is far too much, considering if they aren't pro they won't get the kill.Vorago needs to either scale down to be more manageable with 5 people, or it needs to have the door hit removed. Saying ":5 people minimum to enter, 6-7 minimum to get the kill" is just insulting. and now elite barrows is going to require 4 people flat, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The lower number needed is good and on par with KK and nex. If it is super hard or not doesn't matter, because it was designed for 4, and requires 4.. While vorago was obviously designed for, and requires much more than 5 people

I hope that those are just T90 variants, and that the other, normal 2h weapons come form somewhere else that doesn't require you to squish everything together

It was more or less that Zaros knew that there were artiifacts out there, but didn't care to get them, or to use them.

That would be possible

Any idea what the zaros concept art says? The only one I can make out is "when zaros speaks, his collar mask talks/moves"

I said in the SODB skype a month or so ago that zaros was made by the elder gods, as well as seren and possibly tuska. Looks like I was spot on for one of them!

Yes, but according to jagex, the power armor provides a 10% boost. While each piece provides a static boost... Where all of them together total to 10%. NICE INTERESTING MATH

Well, while not directly Tetsu/Death Lotus/Sea Singer's, there are the automaton gloves and the glacyte boots. Besides, barrows didn't require boots/gloves for their set effects. :P For ports armour, I suggest a damage soaking passive for when you're wearing the full set (and before someone points out that "even GWD armours can tank everything well enough," even with full superior tetsu + glacor boots/automaton gloves, drygores, soulsplit+turmoil, overloads and 99 attack/def, Graardor still sometimes ends up bringing me down to ~1/4 health simply due to strokes of bad luck.) Make tank armour actually tank by actually reducing the damage taken instead of just reducing the enemies' accuracy and tank armour might become more useful. Tank armor should soak ALL damage. Not just things like "damage over 1000", but ALL damage. I must say, that when they added damage soak before EOC, it was useless 90% of the time

Akrisae IS NOT THERE? REJOICE!!! Ports should have a set effect.. But one would argue that because nex items include gloves and boots, ports should, too. That said, it has been mentioned previously that tank armor in general should be better than power armor for.. tanking. I want them to put back blue tetsu and the old style headband and death lotus, tbh.

Dungeon shields are T80, and T90 shields are coming out with barrows. I would imagine that T85 would prove moot if they were to come out

I think it'd be fixed by making power armor have less def and hp the higher tier it goes. T70 power armor has the def and LP of T55 tank armor. Good T80 power armor has the def and LP of T65 tank armor. Not so good. Put it down to T60. T90 power armor has the def and lp of T75 tank armor. Knock it down to T65 Would make it the epox of "hit more, get hit more".. While tank armor should have flat out damage soak that gets better as the tier gets higher. T70 tank should soak something along the lines of 5% vs its strength, 2% vs its weakness T80 should soak 10% vs its strength, 6% vs its weakness T85 should soak 14% vs its strength, 7% vs its weakness T90 should soak 20% vs its strength, 10% vs its weakness And that would be FLAT OUT soak. Like spirit shields. The reason spirit shields are the outright best thing for the shield slot is just because how much they soak damage. All armor should be like that.

Point being, they shouldn't put anything to effect the game. Small things like bank boosters, overrides and the like.

But there shouldn't be things from the loyalty shop that really effect the game.. namely the penance, vampyrism auras

That is right. However I kind of think that it is a bit unfair in how the T80 weapons are available. Example: T80 dual wield BOLT type from dungeons, degrade T80 dual wield melee of all styles from dungeons, degrade T80 2h crush from dungeons, degrade T80 2h magic from dungeons, degrade T80 2h BOLT type from qbd, degrade T80 dual wield from nex, doesn't degrade T80 shield bow from nex, degrades There is no T80 2h slash or stab weapon
