What would you need to do with a java applet to be able to detect remapped keys, anyway?

I've been using a program called ControlMK to remap my xbox controller to click, move the mouse, and arrow keys for nearly two years. And nothing has come of it. I actually prefer the controller to browse the web and I can't use my arrow keys anymore because I'm used to having one hand on my controller while I play. What happened to "1in for 1out" they had going on about?

Do you have to do the livid farm task in order to have the hard tasks done? Has it been added as a hard task requirement or is just a bonus task?

At 75 I get around 900 xp/60 seconds, so about 54k/hr... Estimate down to ~48-50k. Good good :) So 15 hours to 80.

Its much better to repair them in your POH. All you need is a high smithing lvl, and an armor stand. You pay less then if you have a NPC repair it, too. Higher your smithing lvl, the less you pay to fix it

Yes, in about an hour I had to use my glory twice. Not that bad. Is it worth using a familar? I'm only 74, so I'm just using the med and large pouches as otherwise I have to use the rc alter three times for 2-4 extra ess. Don't mind having to use it three times with a giant pouch though. So, is it worth using a familar?

If I'm going to do the bank all method, should I have all my astrals and laws out of my bank? Or can I ALWAYS count on having 2 astrals and a law crafted? Also if I'm banking at the rune bank, having all my fire runes out of my bank is a good idea, right?

I say botters and RWTers are "dirty scum" because they are cheating while I am not. Cheating in a single player game is fine. I do it all the time. Its more fun Cheating in a multiplayer game is NOT fine, its jnot fun for me. Multiplayer games need rules, a cealing. Those who break the cealing may be above and better off in the game the the rest but when it rains, the people stuck in the box get wet. Sorry I'm typing this at lunch.

If Jagex were to record and process all mouse movement you make on the game client, I highly doubt that it would be less then ~20bytes/sec. They would have to have at LEAST 12 bytes for every instance they record your position, and do it at least every 600ms. Though I'm not 100% sure on how they'd do it, but I'm sure that any kind of mouse tracking would be not only a form of spyware, but would require a large amount of bandwidth on the client side upload. As for mousekeys, they move the mouse with a jump. not a smooth movement, as anyone would notice if they've ever used them. Most scripts and macros do the exact same thing. You can't ban someone who is using a bot to fletch or drop for example without also banning those w [garden tool] use mousekeys, less you want a very very large amount of false positives.

The other thread is bleeding in here, but they can't ban botters without also banning the super-efficient. The one difference between those two is that the botters are obviously botters.

One word of advice Watch something while you play MA. I got through the entire seiries of Futurama while I got 300 rank and while I sold fire runes for onyx. Thiw was long before before they capped ranks/hr and disallowed selling runes for tokkul, but the basis is the same. AFK, but not so much that you don't get 1 rank.

Onyx i does have some uses. Its the best defense item for the ring slot. If you're going to be mage always, seers i is pretty good, but dstone has a +1 boost over regular seers Likewise with range. +8 is a huge boost, but dstone is still +5 *over +4 of normal archers) Warrior is pretty useless. +8 slash a/d. Woo. Bad... and again, dstone has +5 over +4/+8 Zerker is by far the best. +8 over +4 (as onyx or dstone have str bonus). Has uses everywhere that you are meleeing. If you have a zerker, get it imbuned. You can't re-sell it, but it is an investment nonethe less. Onyx is basically wearing a regular seers, archer, warrior and zerker (ONLY zerker's crush def) at once, with a boost. It is +6 all attack and +6 all defense, whereas the dedicated rings are +8 attack +8 defense. I personally use onyx i at places where I'm using all 3 combat styles. Dag kings come to mind. fairly good accuracy boost AND a defense boost. But again, you're paying 15m for a +6 boost opver 100k for a +5 boost. tl;dr, rings to get imbued in order: if you're not rich: zerker, dstone, archers, seers, warrior if you're rich: zerker, onyx, archers, seers (if you barrage lobs), no warrior

I understand that, but if one of your friends (whos on your list) starts PMing you (your chat is on), and following you around, I doubt anyone would NOT reply. Likweise if someone is just following you around. They're obviously trying to talk to you. Refusal to reply is another way for admittance.

People who've played the game and know what is and isn't right, who bot, are nothing but scum IMHO. I noticed my friend was logged in all day, same world, and never replied. Went to the world, went to some botting hot spots, and lo and behold, there he is. Old friend, from like 2006. Still I reported him. When he finally got back I said hi, what were you doing all day, ect ect and it ended with me calling him many bad words and removing him from my list.

- Botting can be detected if it clicks the screen; only bots where the mouse does not have to move can't. get a mouse tracker, see if you can move your mouse the exact same route thousands of times and on the millisecond precise and get the clicks also at the right X and Y coordinations. Oh yes Jagex could record your X and Y movement of your mouse, how else do they know where you click. - 1 input is 1 output, that means no repeaters that make 1 input give inf. output. - the third party software is kinda the same as the 1 input 1 output, no software that plays the game for you. I have no doubt that they can track where on the game client you can click, but they can NOT track mouse movement. Fletching bolts for example, you could simply use a script that is four buttons -Left click -Move mouse left X pixles -left click -move mouse right X pixles 100% legal (same as mousekeys), AND you're clicking the same pixle many times quickly. Granted, 99% of macros will do the exact same thing, but there is absolutely no way for JAgex to differentiate between a macro clicker, or a script/mousekeys like program doing 1in for 1out. Something I aught to add, another reason why they're so full of themselves is that they've said "mousekeys are 100% A-ok!", but "something that does the same thing as mousekeys is not allowed!" Contradiction.

If you want to imbue fremy/onyx rings, then by the time you get to 300 rank you should be able to imbune all five rings while buying the superior locator and all the clothing.

/me has a bid talk with some people in my clan and the general agreement is: -Botting can't be detected if it clicks the screen. Why? Because a program clicking the screen = mousekeys clicking the screen = mouse button clicking screen. Also, they can't detect if you are using mousekeys, a bot, or something like AHK unless they install software on your computer -You can bot all you want. Though don't look like a bot. Why? A lvl 4 making red spider eggs in edgevill.. that can get locked in a room for hours on end, and that does NOT log out, is OBVIOUSLY a bot. Whereas someone who is alching via an autoclicker, and chatting, does NOT look like a bot. Why? Because a click is a click, it is pretty easy to position the alch spell and item on the sane X and Y coords, only requireing you to left click every few seconds. Mousekeys is the EXACT SAME THING. 5 5 5 5 5, lclick lclick lclick... -Not only that, Jagex never says what CAN and can not be used to play the game. First, they said "1 input = 1 output", which is fine. It covers EVERYTHING. But there are loopholes in there. Did you know microsoft has a built in macro? It's called "character repeat". Holding down a mouse button.... repeats it. 1 input for an infinite amount of outputs. Also, they've claimed that you can use no "third party programs" to play the game. Windows, OSX, ubuntu, your keyboard, mouse, and video card drivers are all third party. Third-party by what defination? Jagex? Everything aside from the game is third party. tl;dr 1. they can't detect if you bot if you aren't an obvious 6hour-logged in bot 2. They have no way to tell what software you have running on your computer 3. Many things they say are to be taken with a grain of salt. Remember the swiftswitch crisis? Left hand doesn't know what the right is doing.

By "over time" what do you mean? General know-how, higher lvl smithing, or the more swords you make the better you make them?
