Today I went shopping. I was gone for 3 hours and bought 2 pairs of pants and 2 bags of potato chips. Overall... pretty good haul. Soon I'll be eating some potato thing my sister is making, then I'll go to my room and play Wii or 360... not sure which one, yet.
  2. I think I still have a copy of that somewhere. I might dig it out if I do.

Last night I had a 6 hour conversation about video games. It spanned everything from the old Super Mario Bros to our mutual dislike of the Halo series. This was during work, where I was stuck on a job I hate, but know well. It is the only one I would keep in which I wear white, of the 4 I know/am learning.
  4. Sounds like you mean The Blind Side. Definitely worth a watch. I watched Fantastic 4 last night. I had seen it before, but I like it.
  5. I never call it dung. I never call it anything, though. I suppose I would probably just add the e to the end to make it dunge, though. Dung just doesn't feel right.

....must......not.......kill...... But yeah, Flyers just got outplayed. Not much else to it. :-( pcht, Philly got a free ride to the Eastern playoff finals. The habs qualified last minute, making philly go up against the devils instead of washington, then after beating the caps the habs played the pengs, making philly go up against boston instead of the pengs. However, the habs lost to philly after beating the best teams in the east 4-3  n00bs It really was nice of Montreal to do that for Philly. I get to go to work an hour early and then sit in the lunchroom for that hour listening to a bunch of crap I don't care about. Namely, the company's financials. If I got anything for helping the company make a ton of money, I still wouldn't care. At least I'm done an hour early, too. I'm a little afraid of what I'll be doing AFTER the meeting, though.

I agree. They earned it. I just had 3 hours of break in an 8 hour shift. I should have had an extra half hour, but I ended up chatting with the guy who was doing my job during my breaks. It turns out we both wanted Philly to lose... and thanks to Patrick Kane, they did.

The last 2 days I have been learning another new job, despite not being signed off on my last new job. I don't want to be signed off on either one, though.
  9. I watched Anger Management last night. I had seen it before but didn't remember much. Pretty funny movie.
  10. Morgan Freeman for me as well. That voice is... well... perfect. I'm gonna change that. I just thought of one I would rather have. Ben Stein. I just love the monotone through everything.

  12. Actually, increasing the numbers is a complete update. Whether it is a good one or not is debatable. They could have saved it for when they got the first of the new ideas ready, but they didn't. They have their reasons, whatever they may be.
  13. Tbh the only reason I am playing that godforsaken mini-game is because of the Arcane Stream Neck and the Chaotic Staff. But you can do whatever floats your boat The Constitution update itself was complete. It just opens up new ideas for ways to play around with future weapons/armor/potions/etc. Dungeoneering being only half released didn't make sense to me, either, though. But you're right that only time will tell regarding the 10 year olds. My prediction, however, is that they will still lose interest after they get killed a few times. I also agree that, in its current state, Dungeoneering IS more of a mini-game than a skill. We'll see if they correct that with batch 2. I'm also only playing it for certain rewards, but I'm not even to level 20 in it.
  14. How do you "train" anything in Dung lol >.> Fail xp. What I mean by the updates that take advantage of it is anything they plan to do with it in the future. There isn't much to get there. Whether it is items that lower your max LP for a time, or whatever else they may or may not be planning. As for the "10 year old kids" factor, it really won't bring that many more in for very long. They'll still get bored and leave, even though the numbers are bigger. And training range in Daemonheim is only because I have arrows bound and never have to buy new ones. I don't play for maximum experience rates, I play to get my mind off of other things and chat with some friends.
  15. Watched The Fifth Element. I like it. I had never seen the start before, though I had seen most of it.

It didn't get much worse for me. I don't mind it, though, unless it lags me right out (which does occasionally happen).
  17. If anything the constitution update made it BETTER to train. More accurate numbers = more accurate exp. Also, big numbers FTW! Why release such a pointless update unless you were changing something along with it? Jagex should have held off until they actually got the new stuff ready. Right now constitution is just fail and jagex is only hurting themselves in the long run with these updates. Honestly, if it is ready, why not release it? Let people get used to it before you throw in some updates that take advantage of it. There is very little reason to dislike it. As for training range, I only do it in Dungeoneering, really.

I have never heard of either of these people. P.S. Has there ever been a larger thread in OT? Richard Dunn was the old man in Tim and Eric. Not sure who John Wooden is. John Wooden is the first person to be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame as both a Player and a Coach. He also won 10 NCAA championships as coach of UCLA (in 12 years there).

I spent the night dumping mini rolo pieces and then counting how many get into the containers (had to count from 2 containers every 15 minutes). It sucked, but it got worse. After 8:30 (when we shut down) I cleaned up the line and had to do a familiar job: Next shift... Monday. Other than that, my day consisted of more sleep than intended... 3 hours more sleep than intended.
  20. Continuing with the facebook theme, when people feel the need to say how much they love their spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend/children/etc in EVERY status update. Ok, fine, if you don't often change your status, but most of these people change it several times every day, And another one that just happened to me, when somebody changes the channel, without warning, in the middle of a show you were watching because they don't like it.

Last night I spent my shift filling a vat with chocolate and making sure I didn't overflow the trough the vat filled. Then I came home and watched The Jackal.
  22. Watched The Jackal after work last night. It was alright, but I'm glad it was cheap (3 movies for $10).

Last night I, once again, was late because they scheduled me to start half an hour early without letting me know. The supervisor knows what happened, though, so I won't be yelled at or anything. But the rest of the week I am starting early and staying a half hour late if necessary. My job was to dump ground oreos once every 15-20 minutes and then watch for the pipes to get clogged up. If they did, I had to shove a stick in there and try not to get it stuck. I got it stuck a lot.
  24. I watched Mercury Rising last night. Good movie. Next up should be The Jackal.
  25. unkn0wnwarrior replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
Or you could look out the window. Just a thought, but... you could do both at the same time. I'm heading to work shortly, kind of hoping I'm "late" again. It's not like it'll be my fault, since they're scheduling me for a job that starts half an hour before I am supposed to be there. Assuming they do that again.
